Stacks are lost on zone change. It isn’t in the tool tip but all those work that way.

As for the standard, it only revives of a player is downed, not fully dead. NPCs are treated different in that a dead npc as treated as a downed one becuase hey don’t have a downed state.

Both of these are more of misleading tool tips.

Tyrian Misfits is a relaxed PvE guild on Anvil Rock, mostly constant dungeons and leveling or doing whatever we want. there is no rigid command structure, no one bossing around others. If you are active for a few weeks and generally known you get full rights to everything.

We are looking into becoming more active in WvW. It is a big fight in our lands and we want to help. Several of us do so nightly and welcome all to join us.

We are also looking for some sPvP regulars. We have a few highly ranked players, one who is around 50 overall!! We are looking to form a highly organized group to continue to progress. I’d be willing to get a custom arena if there is enough interest.

Not on AR? Not a problem for us. Interested in transferring? I’m always willing to help fund active members switching over. I just did so for a misfit recently.

Some Particulars :
~180 on roster. 25-30 usually on during primetime, which is 8pm EST to around 3 am EST every night. We have teamspeak too if interested.

Only mandatory thing is to have fun.

+ exp & +mf always active. Other boons whenever someone requests them.

All dungeons all the time. Several of us have dungeon master title we have worked hard to earn and are eager to help others achieve theirs. Imo opinion dungeons are great and I love to run them and this is shared amongst our guild. We even did arah p4 without being a full zerker group!!

Guild missions. Weekly bounty, rushes to complete next week. We have all tier V upgrades and he majority of VI. Working to unlock them all for the guild missions.

Try Chantry of secrets.

It is a hidden area that is the base for he order of whispers and has a poi. The entrance is in bloodtide coast. There is a cave i think it is labeled sonehting like “dead end”, but there is a portal there to the chantry.

I can understand the benifit of how it is currently myself.

Lets say i wanted to 100 gems. So I type in 100 gems it tells me it will cost 4g cool! I hit the button, boom i get 100 gems and 6g is taken from my inv. ANET QQ!

The way it is now. I pit in 4g it shows i’m going to get 100 gems! I hit the button. I get 95 gems. Darn you movig target! Do i want to spend 2g more now and see if can get it again later for 50s to cover the difference.

Also Orr use to be even more populated by risen, but in a subsequent i think they put a cute little remark about the risen numbers being thinned out because of his defeat.

There was also a mission right before Zhaitan where you rid Orr of it’s corruption at the source. Beautiful, lush plants start growing and everything.

True, but isn’t that locked behind a gate you can’t get through at the moment? It is possible that the source of Orr is cleansed and blooming but has yet to leave the confines. (More likely it isn’t but I’ll keep myself in that delusion.)

Upshot is Orr needs the undead, they have lots of great loot and the GW2 farmers would get in an uproar if they couldn’t show off their prowness cleaving wave after wave of grubs. They are he true heros and deserve their mighty prey.

Should have been in Orr weeks after release. That place was crawling. Makes the one we have now look deserted. I can actually mine in peace and not worry how mich longer till my next stealth skill comes off cool down.

Just saying that I buy 4 exotics o he same type. I.e greatswords.

This far I’ve gotten two precursors. The colossus (now a legendary) and I just got dusk. (Not sure what to do with it). The longest it took was 6 tries for DUsk. The hammer one I got in 3.

Hi!

You will requie tokens from dungeons to buy a gift from 1 dungeon depending on which legendary. You need 500 tokens in all.

You also need 500 badges of honor fron WvW mostly. You can mostly get these from defeating players or fro the jumping puzzle or map completion.

My suggestion is that you go to the wiki. If you search for explorable area you will find a lost of every zone and compare that to every zone you have unlocked. My bet is you missed fields of ruin because it is tucked in that corner, but chancces are some zone was completly missed.

If not then congratz you will be the winner of the most outrageous bug contest imo.

Edit: another idea to help you figure out what was missed. Go to your acheivements tab and look under explorer. There will be 5 explorer ones at the top that reference all the areas. Look for one that has the most missing and that is likely the zones you beed to investigate. A missed zone would result in you missing probably 15 to 20 in that area at least.

That is a special hidden one. It is working fine. The entrance is near the heart to the southwslest. I’ll let you figure out the rest from there. (Hint: bring your aquabreather)

this one took me the longest of all the pois when the game was new. Was awesome.

Actually there are two other places that I know of for obby shards you can buy outright. Fractals merchant with fractal relics, and Moto next to the super adventure box in rata sum using bubble baubles. The latter you can easily get lots of them fast if you have multiple characters.

You can also use karma to buy orrian jewelery boxes from any karma vendor in Orr and have a chance, fairly high imo but is rng, of dropping them. Bonus is you can also get lodestones from here.

There was a thread about this previously, its just how the coloring of the icon itself is.

The previous post, wit a pic, stated that the color of the part is he same as indicator. I myself have not noticed because i use the numeric numbers i believe.

I have m filter enabled because i lol everytime a regluar word used in an npc chat is blocked andI want to know why. There is one in lornar’s pass that I still havent figured out how it is a bad word…

Any person with half a brain can easily replace a few dashes across the screen wih the bad word using the context of the sentence. In my guild we have one guy who likes to throw ou some blue language every now and again and even with only 1 or two words that aren’t filtered ou it is easy to understand what he said….

You said something contreversial and someone reported you and now you are in he penalty box . You have stated you will be overly careful in the future so appaently this works as some other poster mentioned. My only gripe is that these people still can post on he forum, which they will do because they aren’t allowed in the game. True it is hysterical for the most part to read these and await the inevitable final word.

Doing the 10 tier recipie i used about 200 ectos to get to 70 clovers.

In that time I got about 60 vials of powerbloods, 10 ectos, 40 crystalline dust, among the most notable things.

My guildmate, she got 70 clovers in abou 100 ectos worth. Another guildy never had a 10 batch hit and spent over 250 on single attempts alone. RNG is RNG. Try your luck and do what you are most confortable with.

I believe that you have to carry a wisp, a guildy tried afking at the start and didn’t get it. I got mine after running it and succeding. The guildy got it a different run when she did run a wisp.

Yes you can. You can start any quest you are on at any time. I’ve been doing my personal story on my alt without lvling. Solo even. I’m on a level 10 quest when i am only lvl 3… Maybe 4. If you can get to the marker you can start it. I even helped a guildy do a lvl 30 when he was lvl12.

Hat filter comment wasn’t directed at anyone. Just a personal preference so i can see ingame words that are filtered... Oh CM story so naughty. But seeing people go off with swearing just ruins the mood for everyone.

If you are asking if a lvl 80 can join you and carry you through each part of your story the answer is yes.

You all should be thankful. Reading previous posts from a few moths ago it appears that the result wasn’t a 72 hr suspension but a full out ban that you had to plead your case to support to be reinstated.

Say bad things someone takes offense to go sit in the corner and think about it. Makes sense to me. If people don’t want to be treated like kindergarteners then don’t act like one. I really enjoy this game and would be ticked to see my chat filter block out every conversation. Yes i use it because some if the words the block are hysterical and want to see if i can figure out why in the odd case.

My suggestion is to returnto sender it. It sounds like a grave mistake. My friend had several exoensive dyes sent to him by accident. Basically th sender was accidenlty clicked in him didnt notice and sent the items. They were for his wife and he was very grateful for then beig returned and we are now all good friends.

Be a great guy and at least whisper or mail the person back at the very least asking wha was up.

Define main.

I consider my main my thief. Right from about 2 days after release she has been with me. However I rarely use her due to the party composition that I usually run with. She is full berserk d/d it had better did in 5 secs because I will in 7 otherwise. In dungeons with a glass cannon ele, ranger that seems more acrobatic than my thf, another thf who spends half his time invisible and the other half ranged my thf just doesn’t survive. That brings me to my guardian.

I play her when things gets serious,90% of my time these days,i made the legendary hammer for her and had full ascended stuff where my thf still has an odd rare here and there. However this may change soon because a lot of those i normally run with are now also doing guardians and warriors who can dungeon i’m able to let my thf have some stabby time.

Solo I love my thf, in dungeons I love my guardian (and a shout out to my other two alts, war and mesmer) but it all depends on who i’m running with that makes one preferable over the other.

Should have mentioned hat. No one is actually that interested in building it. Half are working towards Bolt, the others Bifrost, otherwise that would have been a the top of my list i it was one of our core players. All he others are just mopey engineers that don’t see the point of legendaires

I just got Dusk and am not sure what to do. I already crafted he legendary I wanted, Juggernau, and I am not sure if i am full invested in making another at this time.

So here are what I think are my options.
1. Break down and make it and hope someday anet lets me dual wield it and he juggernaut
2. Sell it and:

A). basically be set for gold for a while. (I’m a hoarder so i rarely use it and jus accumulate)
. Bank roll some of my guildies going for theirs. ( however it wouldn’t be enough to finance the close few i’d like to and would think it unfair to the others i couldn’t.)
C). Turn it into influence for our guild so we can finish off he rest needed for guild challenges and puzzle

And no, I don’t plan on giving it away to strangers, but i’m really perplexed as to what to do and would appreciate some feedback.

I’ll be brief. I have no problem with the dungeon/grouping concept by choice, but I’ve had it with new dungeons being the only answer to continued PvE development in the game.

Why does every major PvE concept, whether Personal Story, Living Story or special events have to end with forced group instancing? I’d like to complete my personal story, Flame & Frost and experience Super Adventure Box on my time without having to deal with the random and varied expectations of strangers, much less their schedules.

Grouping for anything should be a choice, not a requirement.

Give me slower progression, less reward per run. I don’t care. It gives me something to do when I play. As it stands, you only produce walls which actively discourage me from playing the game.

Just an fyi, SAB can be done completly solo. i do it all the time.

Otherwise no one is forcing you into the dungeons. So don’t want to group? enjoy something else, there is a large world out there inTyria. For each person that hates grouping I bet there are 5 that enjoy it.

One of the best experiences for me thus far came a few weeks ago when my guildies and I defeated simin. We wern’t even a OMG ZERKER ONLY PING NOOB group, just 5 adventures that had honed their skills and teamwork on the other paths before attempting this. She had the 1-hit then back into invisible and we just learned to be more efficient.

Now that we are familiar withi Arah we are now running other guildies through it but no free rides. Everyone in our guild will earn their title. If you need to make money by carrying others or need someone else to get you that title, that is your right and I doubt bannable, though i wish it was.

However those of us who earned it will always know that we are better, and it is pretty obvious who the bad players are with that title if they actually ever step outside of LA and are instantly downed by a moa.

Why not offer a full arah p4 run for gold? Four experienced players mentoring lesser experienced ones. If you were any good this shouldn’t be a problem and you be helping the community.

Did you carefully read what the confirmation was asking you? Equipping a bag will not have a prompt. Dragging just outside your screen will produce a prompt to destroy any item.

A guild mate got an ascended trinket from our guild bounty last night.

I hope people didn’t expect that having precursors as possible loot would mean that it was common to get them.

In the mean time why not use the lfg indicator to show you are actively looking to RP?That shows up by your name and I’ve only ever seen it in Orr during farming groups so likely will not be harassed by people actually looking for a dungeon party or something.

Our guild only pre-scouts when the number of participating guildies is kind of worrysome unless they want to take it upon themselves. (Since I offer gold for finding a needed target many take the initiave and have a favorite they like to follow.)

If we have one full geoup of five per target for he tier we are goin to do then we don’t spend long setting up and just see what we get. Thus far we’ve been successful 100% except the very first one when I had no idea what to expect.

this would make me never play the game again….. dont care if thats what I had to do for a legendary… I’d end up hating the game by the time I got it.

Last night for example I made a Tier 2 and not a Tier 1, but only about 11 wanted to go. I usually like to have 1 of each tier so depending on turn out we can be fairly certain of success. Because i know i is hard to rally more later in he week for a full hunt if people have already gotten their loot. I can count on a core few to always help out but that is about it.

Back to longer than needed story. We pre-scoutted about 9 of the targets that have the longest/diffiult paths. Popped it and we got bookworm (scouted), poodaboo, and Trilliia. Have to admit i knew right then we would win. P and T have small areas and we already knew where bookworm was. We all rush to kill bookworm, then each team took on one of he other targets.

Tl;dr i agree it is more fun not to prescout, but risking not getting merits is a consideration.

Lol, i just came back to keg brawl after about 6 months. 1 guy was standing mid field and each time he grabbed one he lobbed it, with a junp, and it scored a point everytime. so, random I think not.

The. I realized this is just like cheezing bosses in dungeons, do it so often no one remebers how to do it legit. So I spent my entire time just locking him down. He didn’t remember how to even move. It was hysterical. He stands there smack he goes down, gets up -> kick. The rest of his team obviously were delendant on his abilities cause they lost their 8-0 lead.

Another game we had three “lobbers” on the opposite team. So my guild mate and i figured out how to do it, and that made an epic game of us all standing in the center and who ever picked it up got it. I believe the game is called keg brawl not keg toss:. Very disappointed because I use to really enjoy the game. Now I’m just going to walk away if I see this and try agaon later perhaps. Or offer people silver at the sart of a match if a fair game is played.

Please make skill 2 not dependant on camera angle in the z-axis! Thats all i ask.

Deleting all characters will allow you to transfer for free.

Just make sure any equipment you want to keepthat isn’t soulbound is placed in your bank.

Meh, I don’t really see the big deal about the whole dungeon thing. I just asked in my guild “can anyone do my final story mission with me”, got a group in like 2 minutes, got in the dungeon, they didn’t mind me watching cutscenes (and there was another guy who needed to do Arah as well) and we got it done quickly enough.

I agree that it is hard to find others willing to story these days and I think I read a post where the devs acknowledged that and said they are trying to remedy that.

However I don’t see any issue with the last story being a dungeon requiring a party. It is tryig to get you to experience and succeed at something you may have been avoiding. now that your story is near an end you are encouraged to see the other offerings of Tyria. You’ll also get that hin when you get one of he final rewards for completing the story which will be somehing you can onl use in a different part of the game.

If youdon’t like my thoughts on why a group is. a good thing to slay the elder dragon, just look what happene d when Destiny’s Edge tried to take on one wih 1 man short.

technically you could also do arah story with only 2 people. There is only one thi that requires activation at the same time.

Lastly /w me in game if you still want a run. My guild is runnnig 2 players alts through it for their completion very soon (like his weekend) and we are always happy to take others. We dungeon a lot and really enjoy doing all modes. ( easist to /w fangedterror and we are active nights 8pm est and on.)

That might be the “Asuran Outsourcing” guild item having been activated. That will allow one upgrade to build and not take up one of your building slots.

IMO the first time I did it it was fun to do it with 4 others that had no idea what is abou to happen. It got me into being more actively want to dungeons which I mostly avoided and now am in a great PvE guild that runs them all the time and everything is a blast. But that is what is great about this game play how you like, but don’t expect everything to be done solo. Therefore if you really want to see then end tolerate others for about 45 and try it out. It won’t be as bad as my run cause they nerfed it and people no know how to play their classes a lot better these days.

Its like wvw map completion, thsy are trying to get you to try other aspects of he game now that your solo journey is over.

That being said, possibly tonight my guild is going to run some that need it, worse case it will be sometime this weekend. If you are interested i could let you know when we are about to go if you are on and you can come along.

You can’t equip two of the exact same ones!

There are however two different ones wih the same stats, but one is an offensive infusion slot and he other is defensive

Edit: i beleive you can if you infuse one of them, but you will not be able to infuse the other and wear it. However currently only rings and the backpiece can be infused. The amulet and accesories can not.

My favorite way is at around lvl 25, i just run through zones grabbing waypoints. Usually their are two zones with the same lvl bracket. By running those two I am usually close to the lvl of the next bracket. Its fast, inexpensive, and gets you waypoints.

Once I get to around lvl70 there are some very long (long as in many) event chains inStraight of Devestation and chrsed shore. That will net you alot of xp.

I also through in dungeons with my guild to break the tedium of the running and events and it is usually a net of 1 lvl per run.

I agree that it is the best one out there! It may not have large footprints but my entire character shimmers as I launch myself into he fight.

I can’t remembe if this was the exact wording I would get, but I remember a cryptic one that mean the person you are trying to invite may have too many guild invites. I think the max is 5. Have them check their guild tab and see if that is the case.

The other possibility i can think of is that you need to apply for a larger guild licencse. Cant remember exactly the name of the npc but i think it is “guild register”. It can be found next to the bamk in Lions arch, as well in the other major towns.

It has never happened to me however from similiar posts it may be related to having missed a zone completion chest from a different zone. If you re-enter the offending one, which there is no way of telling which, you should get the zone completion chest and the 100% chest

If others have an other info please rush in and contradict me.

Tyrian Misfits™ is a relaxed guild focused on PvE, but not exclusivly so, looking for fun members. We are not a mega guild. (166 in toster), we have around 20-30 misfits on during our prime time of 8pm est each night to around 3am est. Influence still roles in and we are unlocking guild treks this week and moving on to the challanges.

We are always looking for more members to join us for dungeons, currently each of us end up doing about 4-5 full guild runs a night. Friday, sat, and sun, nights we do and Arah explore if there is interest. Sunday night is our official Bounty night, and we hold make ups for those that missed out on heir loot.

We are also trying to get more into WvW and sPvP, but are currently trying to figure out how to figure that into oir week. A larger base of people interested in these fields would be most welcomed.

Also want to say that nothing is mandatory other than having fun.

My guild just had an awesome guild bounty last night and I was wondering if others had similar stories of success and failure.

We are a relatively small guild and can only currently muster about 12 people on bounty night. We spread ourselves out as much as we can amongst the hardest to find bounties and gamble with the rest.

Last night 2 of 3 of our bounties were being followed once we started. We have all but myself (tailing/holding the 2nd mark) and another to go hunt the last, go down the first, but one player doesn’t have the wp. So i leave him there to hold the bounty while I go help.

Two minutes later our first bounty is about to die and the guy we left starts going… Halp! He’s attacking! Obviously he miss clicked and started the fight and was instantly killed. This also made the bounty disappear and would have to be found again. I direct all guildies to that zone to scour the place because he had a large path while i continued the hunt for the final on with a relatively short path.

So wih about 4 minutes left they find the bookloving skritt and begin taking him down… Meanwhile I finally find the last one being held by another guild. Suddenly over voice chat I hear moans of of death and the words “wp fast and get back”. So i’m figuring we were about to lose him again not to mention we hadn’t even started our last one. So we pull one of our teams over to me to start on the last.

Well we start up the last fight with about 3 of us there. short -fuse felix likes to litter the place with bombs.. Should have suspected that, I was thinking he’d be more like a separatist and have a long animation of planting a barrel. Half the team is downed and i’m close. (Did I mention we are now down to within 1 minute to kill). On teamspeak i hear “loading now and was praying that they meant the skritt was down”. But seeing us at less than 20s I just spammed every attack i could but he was still over half health and i go down.

So after mashing the downed attack till i died as the rest of he guild rushed over he hill to engage i wp and just start to weep as i tried to rush back and so did others who were watching the guild mission timer. 1s 0s…. Then Bam! Gold medal: event succeeded! BOUNTY COMPLETE!

Huge huzzah resounds over voice chat. We all look at guild panel in bewilderment of the 20 more guild merits we got! Some of us plainly shaking from excitement and disbelief! Then we head to fractals to calm our nerves!

My vote is to gamble cautiously. Set an amount of gold you are willing to spend.

My other suggestion is to run a lot of dungeons with my guild and by exotics with the tokens you get. I run them all constantly and had so many tokens my first 2 attempts at Colossus was solely dungeon weapons and the next try I bought 3 of the cheapest exotics and I got it.

I know my experience is not the norm but using dungeon tokens saves you money and you make money while running dungeons.
