I don’t mind the consumables not coming back, but the Rytlock Mini really does need to be sent with every character, especially as I have to keep it in my inventory to summon it.

When you have over one million sales before launch, ten thousand isn’t exactly that many people, and when you consider the vast number of other avenues for compromise, well.. the doubt becomes even bigger against a user.

The mistakes weren’t make in the same 48 hour periods. These mistakes were made at account creation.

I’ve played many a game where people behave like you’re pining for. I don’t want that kind of environment. It’s draining, it’s tiresome, it’s stupid. A better community as a result of strong response by ArenaNet’s policies makes this significantly more enjoyable as I don’t have to read hostile spam in /map or in cities.

I scan the email link VERY carefully before I click, but yes, we do sometimes send things out as The Guild Wars 2 Team. Keep in mind that anyone can put any name in their “sender” profile, so use caution when clicking links in any inbound email.

It would be helpful if mails from ArenaNet didn’t result in a “softfail” with Google’s authentication.

The likelihood of a breach on ANet’s side isn’t particularly high. Even then, out of the eight years Blizzard’s been working, I only know of one major security breach that was a result of their security.

With how many Battle.net accounts get compromised, would you be willing to argue that a majority of accounts with them are compromised as a result of Blizzard’s security failures?

Is that really how it works? 3 strikes and you’re out? Now i’ll be super paranoid that if i say Hi to someone while they’re having a bad day i’ll lose all my characters FOREVER. It should be based on the severity of the actions that you did, not how many times you did stupid things that barely deserve a ban

Oh and yeah i would really like to know what i said that got me 14 days away from gw2

Don’t repeat your mistakes? Clearly saying “Hi” to someone won’t ever result in you being suspended, where just being mean will.

I’m still just dazed about how many people were compromised. If I wasn’t, how did all these other people get hit? What did they do to fail in their responsibilities to secure their accounts? Using a compromised e-mail address? Did they use the same password for WoW, Steam Forums, EA, or Trion Worlds with their ArenaNet account? Did they choose to share their account or something?

I’m not sure why people are using the same passwords across multiple systems.

All this will get sorted out in due time. My turnaround time for support was six days for a billing issue.

This is almost essential for WvWvW and sPvP. I’ve had a number of times when my abilities were delayed by over five seconds and rubber banding kicked in hard. I need to know when there’s something up as soon as possible.
