Rocket boots arent bad think of it this way say you know your going to die and near a cliff or drop rocket boot away kill yourself no points for the enemies

How about instead of throwing them make them fly? Kinda act like pets and hover around you shooting anything that you attack ? seems like a decent swap to me
Okay, let’s not be elitists here. Also, getting into top tier requires great teamwork and/or luck with the solo-q. Most solo-quers don’t have that ability to work with other great players who mesh with them well enough to produce great results. You say top tier, but you can also say some people get carried by their team or together they are great but on smaller scale fights they aren’t so great. There’s also a bad leaderboard system. I mean, let’s not forget the ‘top1000’ who has less than 50 games played. But anyways, I think it’s always good to consider any kind of suggestion->try it yourself->then criticize it.
And dont forget endless hours of play time wasting away in front of a screen!

I went 30 into explosives for the burning, explosions area increase, and the smoke bomb
20 points into firearms for rifle range and the vulnerability on immobilize
20 into tools for sd and gadget recharge
I currently use bomb kit, rocket boots, slick shoes and crate as for runes i took two vampire for the minor health steal does come in handy some as this build and 4 wurm runes with a power toughness crit and healing neck with a zerker jewel in it very good skirmisher build causes a lot of chaos
i have also noticed you can bypass harmful damage type fields without taking damage like lazers and such shh dont tell anyone
Its damage has been swapped takeoff burst is higher than impact probably because of the increased aoe range doing 4-5k with that big of a area to all enemies may be a bit much im guessing but still bugged i think
Why not just make the tool kit a two hander for more dps same abilities just replace the box of nails with a launch gap closer and give us repeater crossbows as a new weapon engies and thiefs can make use of it
its main travel time to its midair point will still be slow but its the impact that counts would really help with on the run targets
I think a cool thing to add to grenadier is just faster grenade travel time such as once it hits its top point in midair the nades boost crazy fast straight to the targeted location idk just my idea
Why not just make engineer utility goggles give slight detect stealth passively as well as what it does now? seems balanced to me
Make tool kit a two hander and give it some aoe stuns or knockbacks and a whirlwind, Rocket kit i have wanted this forever freakin rocket launcher, pretty much master trait in each tree giving us the option to upgrade our specific kit that we use the most with our builds.
I like grenades how they are for things like pve but for pvp i could see anet making kit upgrade traits may be transform the grenade kit into a rocket kit with a slight lock on and higher ae radius with a bit less damage considering its just one rocket at a time may be add in like the tool belt ability into a rocket barrage
I actually would like to see blunderbuss become more of a ranged attack may be even a explosive shot with a targeting system like grenades with up to 1200 range may be as well just introduce a new kind of rifle for more bursty builds like a rail gun style

i say sure nerf hgh a bit not enormously but buff rifle and tool kit damage for christs sake make tool kit a twohander with some stuns and aoe and increased damage like hammer for warriors it would make sense and allow some huge burst set ups so that way you guys can quit qqing about hgh and say nerf tool kit more!
So i have been playing engineer for a bit and i really enjoy the kits something i would love to see in the traits is some master changes. For example change out some useless traits to boost kits like grenades for example decently good in pve but pvp really has some trouble with the targeting and travel time the traits i have been thinking about is kit upgrades for each 30 pointer allowing you to keep the grenades if you wish but if you grab the kit up grade it becomes a diff kit altogether so grenades for example will become a rocket kit around same damage as grenades same travel time just very low aoe spread and maby a bit increased travel speed also with a mild auto lock same could go for maby tool kit if traited becomes a two handed mace more damage a few switched abilities but keep the effects about the same i think if they did this it would be great and add some much needed buffs to specific kit builds while allowing for the original as well.
