I don’t think anyone in gold league should give a crap if FA tanked or not. They got a bunch of free wins and picked up momentum and now T2 looks fun again. Pre-league this matchup would have been over by monday or something, which kinda sucks for everyone.

+1. I fondly recall both the BG/KN/TC and the FA/TC/DB T2 matchups, where the week was up in the air right up until Friday. Right now, both FA and SoS are giving great fights, and I’m finding myself setting an early alarm clock just so I can get an extra hour of fun in before work.

Side note – to the SoS Guardian coming out of South Camp on FABL a few hours ago (that quaggen’ed himself while crossing the bridge) – you, sir, are the reason I love this game so much. Laughed my backside off for a good five minutes. Well played!

TC/FA/KN back near the beginning of the year was the golden era of WvW to me. So much fun.

So much this. I can’t help but feel nostalgic about those times and also remember them as the golden era.

I do mostly small group fights against other players that roam and do small group fights where conditions play a bigger factor in deciding a win. HOWEVER, you can change your build composition to fight condition heavy groups.

Is this more of a group comp or solo roamer build problem than a condition problem?

People need to realize that 1 class or 1 build should not be invincible. Group play and is really the only way to cover weak gaps in your builds.

Peeps need to enjoy these close matches instead of worrying who wins. Trust me, its FAR better than a blowout.

If SOS and FA are able to keep it like this against TC unlike during league when TC was beating SOS and MAG by 200k points, I’d say we’re doing it right.

At this point TC really only has to focus FA to secure their win for the week, and SOS is going to do whatever they choose (push for second by hitting FA, or take 3rd by focusing on TC). If they don’t care who wins, then it should be a pretty even affair.

Any way you slice it, there are plenty of bags to take on the field.

Edit: between 1st and 3rd it’s a difference of 15k points.

I like to fight non-stop in this game.

I don’t farm, I don’t craft, I don’t run fractals, and because of that I don’t have nearly the same access to gear that other people have flooding their bank space.

I should be rewarded for being an effective killer, not for smacking resource nodes and standing at a crafting station. This takes time and gold away from the things I would rather be doing.

Ascended gear for exclusive wvw players should have been in from the start.

It’s far safer if you take duels into the OS or behind the windmill at south camp. The rest of the map is just a free for all (although it is nice when people respect duels and I do my best to).

Sometimes fights happen in strange places and that’s what makes wvw fun.

Zerglings just need to use their brains more often when they see small groups fighting.

I was just lucky my fight was over before the baddie train rolled in to town.

Wizard joined party to offer even fights like others were doing but [TUNE] of course declined with the classic line of the weak player “There are no even fights in WvW” lmao and now they are being furious little forum warriors to make themselves feel better.

I think we’re too poor to buy guilds. The reward chest only had 15 silver in it.

This would make sense since everybody has hated FA for over a year, just like BG. Does this mean we have to pay for a large European guild to join us to?

I wouldn’t replace FA with SOR quite yet. I’m sure TC and SOS will be very tough to beat through the week.

I love these statements. Mag was never a T2 server in the first place, nothing at all to do with burnout. You silver league hero’s that didn’t bother fighting for your spot in gold, can have your ranks back now that it is safe.

You guys fought so hard to play in gold league so it’s not our fault you got spanked for 7 weeks.

Rather be the underdog for seven weeks than dominate for seven weeks. Rather not be the target of choice for transfer trash. FA seems to have lost its core. There was a time when they too would have fought for that opportunity.

I’m glad you’re getting what you wanted then. The trend of being dominated by the top 6 servers shall continue which will of course keep you guys low on fair weathers.

You can compare a lot of things using analogies . That’s why they are used.

Winning for the first part of ANY game and losing at the end yields the same result. A LOSS.

FA is never a reset night champion, but the players from FA will grind out a week to take the win.

Maybe you got your hopes up and that’s why you’re so upset now. You guys will beat us again one day, but it hasn’t happened the last 2 times we’ve fought. Live with it.

Glassy warriors do not absorb stellar damage. Their health bar can vanish in a hurry with the right pressure.

Split up the divisions a bit based on wvw coverage. The last split was not quite right. Close but not the best.

This is a nerf warrior thread and nothing else. I could care less if you played it since alpha testing.

Maybe you should figure out a way to fight a warrior before you swing a nerf bat.
