I’m finding some good solo roaming fights but it takes patience since a lot of groups have a minimum of 2 people. I had an odd 3v1 yesterday vs a necro and two thieves that ended after the necro was stomped and one of the thieves died somehow. It was mystery since only the bag appeared near me and the fight was over.

You must not WvW much. 1v1 situations come about quite often, even as part of a team. You might be clearing a keep, or protecting/attacking a dolyak, catching up to your zerg/group, or getting your server the bloodlust buff. It is not just about people who stand behind the windmill.

There seems to be this misconception that skill can beat builds when in fact it’s the opposite. This game is not and never will be competitive, for sanity’s sake I hope that people come to realise it sooner rather than later.

I saw a brave adventurer in the Battlegrounds of Eternity, running into the Pass of Anzalia! His sinful ways had to be eradicated from this fair land. I followed him silently up the treacherous staircase and into the Room of which the Lord resides! I saw his two sidekicks, poised and ready to pounce. Any other cowardly master of all four elements would have flown in terror, but not the daring Attunejam. For she is the ONE true master of all elements.

As I began to churn the earth beneath me, I took a deep breath and my brow furrowed. It was time to show all of Tyria that I truely HAD been training for this day since I was in the crib. The earth exploded with an almighty blow, impaling all those who didn’t flee when they had the chance.

As the dust settled I saw two of the brave adventurers had succumbed to their injuries. I put one out of her misery and left one just breathing, in case I also buckled under the weight of my life threatening wounds. An almighty swing of the Warrior’s axe and I was through. I finished off the second brave adventurer, and regained the will to fight.

I conjured my mighty flaming sword of fire and whirled at the warrior. He also fell to his knees. Being the merciful master of elements I was, I granted his death wish with a bovine to the face. I claimed the Pass of Anzalia for myself, and watched in glee as the three brave adventurers returned to mourn their loss.

I am Attunejam, Master of Elements.

Why roam if you can’t handle a loss? Join a small group at least and then you can hopefully coordinate to beat those cheese builds.

Well, to FA’s defence… ANet considers it perfectly legal to ‘zoom hack’. I don’t know what these people are thinking, but for ANet it is perfectly acceptable to make your GW2 screen a 1:30 ratio so you can shoot ACs around gates or over walls.

Personally, I consider it cheating, but since ANet allows it, you can’t really call it cheating, I guess.

I put it up in the same category as camping the spawn exits, ganking people in JPs, dancing on people corpses after 3v1s or killing people’s yak parades: technically it’s not cheating, but it’s not really decent server-behaviour either.

Are you licensed to give this kind of advice? Many people have one or more server’s they have a distaste for I’m not so sure jumping to unsupported conclusions about a server you aren’t on is the most efficient way to dissect the forum thread. Personally I like FA, because you guys fight all week long I don’t think TC is mad about Guild xfers either.. if they are enjoying the game then that’s what matters. I’d rather have people to fight against then have them leave GW2 entirely.
