Never said kills em all in 1 go but he does 1v10 and in one video he jumps a group at the supply camp granted he had others with him but he was first one in by a good amount and most were killed in his intial burst.

Then you didnt watch all his Vids, watch ^^^ where he is mad cause he got killed by a large group and they spammed laughing at him, he takes revenge 30+ kills to his 1-2 deaths. yes he does take on a huge amount they even try to portal bomb him.

I’m willing to bet coffers end up 4c before this event is over. If you look at the price drop on spidy, it’s pretty steep. And the things drop like water, and we’ll have so much time to flood the market with them since the festival lasts till July 9.

The flip side is that I think coffers are replacing some T6 mat drops which is driving me crazy as T6 mats are actually useful and my poor engineer farmer is pretty much going to sit on the shelf, untouched and unloved, till the festival is over and he can go back to making me money.

Sorry not at home, but I am seeing how they made coffers harder to farm and reduced drop rate, which would mean the price should rise as lots of people still want the ticket.

It gives people a chance to get their buy or sell order out. People have no way of knowing when they go away for the day that a patch will drop the price of an item buy half.

But the people logging in know. They know and they will take your buy order anyway as the price crashes. Those who are on at the time profit – look at precursors when new effects for legendaries went into patch notes. People had stuff listed for like 40g that was worth 6x that later that day.

There is no perfect solution, but they clearly need to do a better job here.

Speculation: engagement in business transactions involving considerable risk but offering the chance of large gains, especially trading in commodities, stocks, etc., in the hope of profit from changes in the market price.

You do not understand how random numbers works. You simply got lucky, and that is no basis for how to compile information on the frequency of the drops.

Last estimate I saw from the common coffers was at .05%. That is not frequent at all.

Thats what 1 in 2000 which isnt bad at all considering how fast you can farm these up, whether the projectors or just killing mobs. had a guildy farm 2000 withing the 2 days not even trying hard. I got roughly 450 from about 4-5 hours. Got my ticket on the 32 box lucky I know but havent even opened the rest. Guildy has 3 from 600 boxes.

At 2000 that would only cost 80g last i checked at 4s a coffer. Almost guaranteed of course bad luck happens. Or you could just farm them and easily have more than that in a month. I am glad ANet gave another avenue to receive, people are never happy.

They better not mess with guesting by stopping chests from dropping. That’s just ridiculous. Guesting isn’t even the problem. It’s the new loot tables. The problem happened when that changed, not when guesting came in. Nothing should change if you’re guesting.

Guesting is the problem, yes guesting in and of itself, was not initially a problem but that’s only because there wasn’t a huge reason to guest. People are not guesting en masse to play with friends they are doing it to get better event timers or to clog up the less popped servers cause theirs is maxed.

I am on a lower population server, first week of patch I was fine could do all the events, now that guesting has become more widely known, I have yet to do a event I always get stuck in the overflow. Is the reason why we have SoS and JQ people by the boatload because they are guesting to play with friends?? NO, they are for the better timers.

I have quit playing completely, till this is fixed. It is just not fun popping over to fight the dragon/big event on my home server and being placed in overflow to sit and stare at the 20 other unlucky people.

I am on one of the lower pop server’s being plagued with massive influx from SoS and JQ and all the others.

Even if I head to an event 15m prior I still get overflow, haven’t tried 30m or longer but what’s the fun in sitting around scratching your kitten for that long. This has also become a huge waste gold..4silver here, 4 there adds up quick bouncing around to try and get to a non overflow event…which hasn’t happened yet for me during the time I play.

So Anet nerfed being able to get multiple chests from events, assumption to nerf gold grinding, but buffed chest drops.

Result— so far tons of rares and exotics have hit the market.

I see this getting nerfed soon, when I go to shadow behemoth and see 10+ commanders and many others wielding legendary sitting around waiting for an event, you know it’s too good. Maw champ goes down in like 10sec or less now…before the change you rarely saw the commanders…it wasn’t worth their time.

Behaviors have completely changed. I swear people manage their play time around events, each event is lagged due to all the people…commanders disappear from WvW whenever a dragon event is up. This is far worse than the old way and gold is being made ridiculously fast.

Figured this would happen as well, since it so easy now to see the look of a weapon it’s only people are now going to look for cool weapons…and despite what you may think about how you go to outside sources to view skins, the vast majority do not visit forums/games sites.

I think the price will go up on ecto’s limited to one event per character even if that one event has a high chance of a rare. Before the patch on a weekend day I could get 20+ rares just from popping in from time to time and doing MAW. I often got 1 rare per event anyway(just this last Saturday I got 2 Exotic GS as well) . Did it on my character after the patch, I got 1 rare and I am done for the day on that character (5 characters-5 rares). Thats a huge drop in the amount of rares/ectos as many others were just like me logging in to the event.

Why else would Anet change it….do you actually think that they want more rares/gold injected into the market or they are nerfing gold? I am guessing the net outcome will be prices go up.

I also cracked 10 exotics and got zip when it came to ecto’s. This has never happened and it’s been more like 75% always got one, could just be RNG hating me but bugs happen.

I always think it’s hilarious when a dev/mod comes out and makes such a fallacious comment as to rule out with almost 100% certainty a bug could have been introduced with the patch….like their track record is perfect.

How do you not see the error in that statement regarding MF? The very nature of the stat is suboptimal versus one that will actually benefit the combat ability of your toon. So use of the stat=suboptimal=performance hindered.

The bots have changed I see tons of resource node hacks…sit at a node for a bit or the Rich Orichalum and you will see people mysteriously appear then disappear. I caught the name of one b4 it poofed friend’d it. It moves from area to area in seconds all day long.

Cursed shores drops sucking is not from lack of reg/large scale activity thats what made the regular/lrg scale activity leave. Drops/DE’s nerfed everyone switched to fractals.

I feel for you, I got hacked while on a month long vacation. Came back to play to find my email was changed to China. Bank and all gold wiped clean and to add insult they deleted my 2 80’s leaving only my lvl 20ish lowbies. All achievements all work done to main poof. This was before the 12/1 acount rollback possible so just SOL.

I would not think your account is being continually accessed all these times, its probably ANET side. If it was they would be wiping you clean each time, taking all gold, selling all bank/char items.

but why are these breaches happening…like the guy said he cannot even deny it? This whole system seems kitten’d up. Everyone keeps saying its user side but authenticators, IP authorization doesn’t seem to be working.

Sorry to hear but you are in luck that a 1 time rollback is now possible, you will need to create a support ticket. Unfortunately, my understanding is your guild is screwed.

It is coincidence you are on RoS which has had quite a few hacks. There is another thread on here where commanders had been hacked all from RoS.

^^^This x10 I knew Karpuz cryptic email and the fact that every commander who had been hacked prior to all of the sudden disappeared and stopped posting in the thread.

Cause they were deemed worthy to rollback (well outside of the Dec 1 start). Yet the rest of us get the “Sorry SOL” Karpuz and the others have their gold and legendary back. Thought since they were rolled back when it was implemented I would to…not cool ANET. Haven’t played since I was hacked 1 month ago and I never will.

^^This is the one thing that makes no sense, each time someone says you have to have a keylogger/trojan/whatever other fancy hack, then why is only my GW2 compromised. I had left to Japan for a month and was off the grid so to speak, so if it was a keylogger for example why not my bank account, Amazon, paypal or any of the other things I routinely go to. Surely those are worth more than the gold they transferred off my character.

They had a whole month to do any transaction, yet it was kind of them to only go after my GW2 account?? Doesn’t make sense

Yes it is the one used to log in, if you also have the NCSoft master account setup you will see your GW is changed from there.

The funny thing is that I had this happen to me on World of Warcraft. I got my account back though it was damaged. At least you got your account back, eh? I hate thieves myself and use authenticators for most of the games. It’s really weird that they got trough the authenticator for you.

It’s already been noted in the other thread “Commander/High Ranked Hacked” thread. Even with Mobile authenticator(which should make it ridiculously hard to hack) we are still getting hacked. Email authentication doesn’t help either. I wish a user could at least block IP’s outside the US.

I got hacked to despite all this…can see the transactions still in my AH history and they deleted my Main to add insult. Some how they changed my email without my authorization(never got the email warning)…Anet is still investigating this piece.

Haven’t played since nor do I think I will knowing that they currently have no way to fix/stop this.

I have never ever feared my accounts getting hacked, mainly cause I have never put my self in that situation. It happen once in WoW because Blizzard had their Database hacked but that was a Monthly Sub, GW2 is not.

Seriously, what do you do go around trashing every suggestion…You are right there should be no such thing as Authenticators or 2 Factor verification. Cause yea hackers can only get your password if you download pron or 3rd part. You are a fool to think multiple layers of security is a bad thing and even more foolish to think it cannot happen to you.

There is a huge thread in Account issues, where lots of people were hacked even taking every precaution(2factor,authenticator)

He is not asking to do multiple things with one key press. He wants one set of bindings for his thief…then when he switches to his Ele he wants another setup.

Its a reasonable suggestion, as stated almost every MMO has this functionality. A thief key mapping/binding would be different than say how you would want your Ele’s config,

Cable connection is hard wired. The reason I know it’s GW2 is that not only my computer goes down but my laptop sitting next to me and my mom’s computer on the other side…and it only happens when the game is open. I didn’t play for two days and never a disconnection.

Dunno sounds like it maybe a network thing I was told it has something to do with WIN7’s homeshare thing. I know my router shuts down the minute my wife turns on the laptop to the wireless network. Hard wired they work fine but wireless and pewww they all go down and I have to reset the router.

But here is a tip: what I noticed was that they cleaned out my level 80 character, but my 7 alts leveled between 1 and 11 weren’t touched at all, they were all in the same location where I left them and all the loot/gold in their inventory was still there (about 60 silver and loot worth 30 silver), if they went to the trouble of even selling my Gift of the traveler for 3 silver then why not clear out my low level alts? They must think there’s nothing of value there/waste of time.

This is exactly what they did to me, my second 80 that was in Ruins of Orr was untouched but my 80 war that was in Lions Arch at the bank, bank gutted and auctioned off…(it sucks being able to see all the transactions and Anet cannot do a thing) and to add insult they deleted him after gutting but left every other char untouched. Sadly all my gold was on the War with just pocket change on alts.

Also had two emails from in box from unknown players with nothing on them, dated same day as the hack transactions…

Never been hacked in a MMO 20+ years, account was fine, left to Japan for a month, just came back and I could not log in. Tried reset password didn’t get anything, so I logged in to NCSoft master account and see on my GW zhuhiangXXXXX@123.com. No idea how my email was changed without my authorization or the serial code.

Big question is has anyone had any luck with support and getting a restore? I don’t seem to see the original posters anymore and that response from Karpuz was cryptic regarding Gaile’s email "

Offer falls? Hoping they can do a restore as I havent been able to bring myself to even playing after this due to all the time lost, not to mention it possibly happening again.
