There is no damage boost, its trickery of the mind. My damage is exactly the same as before.
Stop praising Anet for something they didnt do or they will think its all good now.

The reason you feel more powerful than the enemies is because most of the other classes got nerfs.

I think they just changed the way damage displays, now it includes all your items and buffs which (IIRC) they didnt before.
Personally my damage hasnt gone up, at least not on dagger and death shroud. My dagger1-necrotic bite still does around 1200 damage on the practice dummies in LA and thats with full Knights armor + 30 points into Spite.

Nothing to get excited about, we still suck.

As long as culling and 10k hits exist the complaining about thieves will not stop. I dont mind them hitting hard, I mind them being invisible while they do so because the programmers of this game failed when it came to graphics rendering.

ATM every single matchup is determined by who has the best off-peak crew. Sucks.
ATM the losing servers lose almost all interest after the weekend is over because they have absolutely no chance of a comeback. Sucks.

Return it to1 day fights is my suggestion, while that technically doesnt change anything, it does mean that the fight is brand new every night and that means that all 3 servers have a reason to come out and fight. I really dont care if I lose because of nightcapping, I just want to have something to fight for and someone to fight alonside of (which I currently dont if my server is losing and its day 3+). Its no fun when our side has 30 people and the others have 100 (or vice versa).

Could also have 3 different matches going on at the same time, so for hours 1-8 it would be match 1, then hours 9-16 it would be match 2 and for hours 17-24 it would be match 3. The battlegrounds would change whenever its time to do a different match (revert the keeps to what they were when the match changed last time).
This could last a week and a server could very well win match1 but lose the other 2 if they had no off-peak crew.

There are many options and I really hope they are thinking about this and are not satisfied with things as they are now.
Personally I see no real reason to log on other than the weekends when the fights are hectic and even.

I wouldnt rule out hacking, there are many hacks available (because Anets program code is weak) and they can do all sorts of things, including making you fly, run faster than anything in the game and I am willing to bet there are invulnerability hacks as well.

Ofcourse misremembering / exaggerating is always a possibility, especially from someone who claims they have defeated 99% of all mesmers he has met…..

But they do so against overwhelming numbers, where is the fun in that for you or for them ?
Its a fact, not an opinion that when you are far behind you do NOT have the same numbers as the enemy and since that enemy also has 3 orbs even a 1v1 is very uphill.
Its a very natural reaction to not wanting to go out there.
kitten I wish this game would return to 24 hour fights, back then people were out all the time and not only for a 3rd of the period.

Just checked the score for last week, yeah TC did exactly as well as we do now. Gave completely up and died with a whimper. Please dont call out your server to be stubborn, brave, tenacious people that fight until the bitter end and then call us losers when we do exactly as well as you did last week. We are as bad now as you were (and we were) last week. Why didnt you rally your server last week ? Why didnt your guilds come together and turn the tide last week ?
As it stands tier 1 is good and tier 3 is good, everything else is in shambles.

Im not really blaming as much as stating the facts. The blame 100% lies with the game design, you choose to take advantage of it and we either choose not to or are not able to (because of low nighttime numbers).
It stops being fun when I KNOW that you will have at least 30% more players then we do, when I KNOW you can cap whatever you want whenever you want. I go out there and so do others, but when we have 0 queue I know its not the numbers we need. The small skirmishes are still fun but the big fights are worthless because once we become a threat you just put together a zerg or 2 that are bigger than anything we can muster.

In addition to you having more players than we do which makes it really hard to do anything worthwhile, you also have all 3 orbs which just makes it that much harder.
I understand the reasoning behind capping everything and getting the orbs, its what WvW is all about after all. But you are still guaranteeing no WvW for 5 days and while itsnot your “fault” its still the result of your actions. I wish our people were out there, but they are not when the scores are what they are now.

@Galrukh.6532 What a typical QQ post. I’m sorry but why don’t you quit complaining and fight like the rest of your server? What happened last week when both TC and FA had to face the wrath of Blackgate? From our perspective, FA decided to roll over and let Blackgate rub their tummies and, only towards the end of the week, did you decide to get organised and cap stuff so that we would both be pushed down to Tier 4 for a more balanced match. Thanks for that btw! I honestly believe this week is more balanced! ^^ And no, I’m not being sarcastic or snarky!

Even now, having got the supposedly more balanced match you fought for, you say it’s fixed and give up. I don’t think FA should give up at all. Where will being passive get you? Be like others on your server and continue to fight even if it looks bad. Even if you don’t win, you can still annoy the other team.

What irks me the most about your post is that you blame TC for ruining the match. I paid for this game too. I have no obligations to you and can play whenever I want to. Your point would’ve been valid if we had been doing what Blackgate were doing to HoD and ET i.e. capping all of your spawn points with siege. Except we haven’t.

And if the shoe had been on the other foot and you were in the lead, I’m certain TCers wouldn’t complain. Grow up. You’re never going to get an easy match from TC if that’s what you want. We don’t hold our horses or give you courtesy caps (which are condescending!). And I don’t think we’d want you to make it easy for us either.

Yes it sounds like QQ I realise that but its the honest truth, you ruined the match for yourself (and everyone else).
When I logged off friday while we were slightly in the lead I said as my goodbye that we shouldnt take too much or we might ruin the match for the week, when I logged on the next day TC had done exactly that with their nightime crew. You dont just ruin the match for us, you ruin it for yourself (unless you dont enjoy fair fights ofcourse).

You have no obligation to not roflstomp us but if you do, you have no WvW for 5 days of the week. Its the simple truth.

I was out fighting yesterday, for a long time and I was out friday so dont tell me to come out and fight, Im there but I probably wont be on the weekdays because you will be so far ahead that we cant get anywhere near your numbers and thus it stops being fun for everyone including you and me. If you dont give people a glimmer of hope, they wont come out. Its pretty telling that friday our queue was 1-2 hours, saturday there was no queue at all.

Aye. People moaning about their towers getting hit by trebs are daft IMO. Build your own and hit it back? If you do it right they won’t see your treb.

Stonemist can hit those surrounding towers. But likewise ALL of those surrounding towers can hit stonemist. It makes the outer wall of SM very vulnerable. Honestly the only point of the SM assault that tends to be tough is the centre. The inner wall can be but you can hit it from so many places. I am of course assuming a none enormous zerg defence.

You cant counter treb a treb that is built on the balconies of SMC. If you are undermanned then you cant take SMC so whenever you take one of your keeps back, the wiining side will break down in the wall in 5 minutes and they run back and take it.

wow, so i was in garrison (fa) i alt-tabbed long enough to post the last message.
no swords on garrison at all, before i alt-tabbed.

after posting i alt-tab back in and im dead in garrison courtyard and TC now owns it.

everyone in chat saying it just instantly flipped with no swords ever appearing.

i was alt-tabbed less than 3 minutes and garrison went from being clear to changed possession.

No defenses except a few people were in garrison.
We had 3 golems.
We had 2 rams.

I know we took it quickly but we have been planning it for hours.

I totally understand the frustration, especially about the night crew each server has. TC took a beating last week but we also learned a lot from BG.

Good thing you learned to recruit night time players.
Its natural that they band together on a few servers but that means that those servers have such a huge advantage that its hardly worth playing.

They need to do something about it or WvW will die pretty quick and no one wants that. Its not fun losing big time because of this but its not fun winning because of it either since it means you have no WvW for 5 days of the week.

Perma-Stealth During Combat Thief Glitching

Thief stealth has to be fixed. Being faster than everyone else + shadowstep + heartseeker + stealth basically means you dont catch a thief unless he wants a fight and with the rendering bugs + 99% stealth a single thief can basically keep a camp impossible to cap. Fix the thief, please. Pretty please.

Well Im calling this matchup fixed already. Shame TC had to ruin it. If you want to keep the fun, dont wtfstomp people in the off hours, they lose the will to fight back and you have an entire week ahead of you without any WvW.
They really need to fix outmanned, as mentioned reversing outmanned and orb is a good start but they also need to make it so guards and keeps get tougher with fewer people so that it isnt so easy to take everything oh and make it so you cant treb from inside a castle, thats just too much of a bonus for the winning side.

As title says. Its just too much of an advantage for the winning side, being able to treb so much of the surrounding area without any chance of retaliation. Trebs shouldnt be allowed to be build within a castle at all, it would be fairly easy to make it so.

Further update:
Figured out what is causing the bug. I had changed the “your phantasms have fury” trait to the one that increases range on manipulation skills. When I changed back the iBerserker reverted to its old workings. That is definately a bug

Update:
Monsters always get 1 attack off on my iBerserker now before it does its attack (if I start the fight off with GS4), if its a mob that hits hard my iBerserker will die before doing anything. This is definately buggy.

Usually I could count on it doing its aoe while still appearing, now I have to wait till it has completely appeared on my screen before it does anything. I havent done any form of PvP since this “change” but it looks like it would be very easy to evade now.

It completely depends on the ability used by the monster.
Some ranged abilities can not be reflected at all but in this case I have to agree with the other posters, it probably has something to do with the position of the harpy and your curtain.
I find it a lot of fun to use this ability and our other reflecting abilities and yes they do work.

Is Mesmer the worst class in the game for Dungeons?

I have done fine so far in the dungeons, I really dont feel like the useless one in the group.
I have good damage (IMO), decent survival and the portal can be really useful in many situations. The aoe haster is awesome and even moa form is helpful at times.

So Im a little confused about exactly how phantasms work.

Do they:
Inherit my +Power ?
Inherit my +Precision
Inherit my +Crit Damage

Does my weapon damage affect their damage ?
- If yes, does the mainhand weapon determine all the damage or only the phantasms summoned by that weapon ?
- If yes, what affects the damage of a utility phantasm ?
