I gotta say i LOVE taimi’s voice actor, she is without a doubt the best one you have on the entire team if you guys kill taimi and don’t bring that VA back you guys will lose a player that being said.
I enjoyed LW3 the first 3 were the best story not as good as HoT and killing mursaat wasn’t overwhelming because you guys kinda like tossed it in there out of nowhere so i was like okay he dead and now what about baltahzar. Also make the game harder, also please ignore any post that said it was too hard i at best died once or twice in-general and when i did i just ran back into the fight, if you want to change anything if you die reset the fight doesn’t seem right i can just get up and fight mursaat again.
Yep i know its more then 75 words but you guys wanted an opinion not a tweet.

OP, mmo’s aren’t for your friends, this is prolly the easiest mmo on the market and they can’t get mastery points in this game. You should move on to another game with them or let them quit.
If anet makes this game any easier me and my guildies would quit out of protest we aren’t fans of getting things while we do nothing but facroll on our keyboards.
Can we make this game more difficult across the board? Practically everything except sPvP is zerg the boss or tank and spank with minor aoe avoidances.
I’ve never wiped at dragon stand ever, or any meta event.
Fractals of the mist is easy too its made difficult thru AR if your over the AR suggestion you can face roll all of it easily hell 1-49 can be done with 0 AR with exception to bosses who have the AR check at the entrance.
Never failed any world boss ever since launch, not one ever…
Raids are not hard don’t say they are hard.
For dungeons except for TA and Arah all of them are tuned terribly low.
Personal story got nerfed hard as well.
I think the game is mechanically sound but the difficulty for an action game is lacking maybe increase damage taken by 10% and monster hp a little higher? Possibly decrease the time your in downstate.
Because honestly, only obstacle thats really in your way in this game is time, i don’t think there’s any achievement in the game that anyone could consider difficult its just time consuming.
Also for WvW please reduce the size of commander squads so we can have actual pvp instead of 50ppl following a diamond literally not doing anything else but following that diamond. If there were small groups there would be more activity across the board more points of interest thus a more fun and warlike feeling instead of a giant train running around the map there should be multiple fronts of war not just 1 of them.
I’m really getting tired of conquest and stronghold people don’t follow objectives they just wanna fight in mid.
So can we just get that because everyone already doing it, make it 5v5 if you afraid of the onslaught of balance changes you may have to make due to pvp. And no custom arena’s are not an answer you have to pay to play and make your arena.
WvWvW isn’t it either i really don’t have to answer why.
P.S. Add a language option so i can queue with people who speak english tyvm.
Its not about tutorials, there’s no punishment for losing so there no incentive to actually win outside of the “elitist” which Anet and the GW2 community aren’t fond of. I think this will continue until there some kinda punishment for pvp loses.
Yes, implying that people either wait out games and just fight in middle because they just wanna get the pvp points on there pvp league chest. Yes i am generalizing a large amount of the community, i have had 5 games today and all 5 of them we have more the one capped home and stayed there for the entire cap. 3 Of them 2 people just sat around for a 2mins.
Also allow us to set language preferences to at least play with other English players so if i type ’Home" or “help” in chat they will know.
(edited by Genesis.5169)
This argument isn’t going to go anywhere we could have the best match making in the universe people will still complain about losing. All it is are people complaining there’s only so much the Devs can do to hold your hand.
I’ve returned from a long hiatus with some friends and your not allowed to go into ranked with premades? Not even to option just for a premade vs premade only selection i’d wait for the long queue what gives?
Was there a dev post on this i don’t see in an MMO game team based play is being frowned apon.
So you want to report some one for inviting you to their party and allowing you to join their group and then kicking you when they don’t feel your good enough to continue. Man you can’t make this stuff up.
I’m glad i’m not looking forward to lobby wars 2.
So people are asking for bans on getting killed in WvW? Are you guys kidding me pvp is pvp there should be no punishment for pvp unless your hacking. If you can’t stand dying then leave if you can’t stand being punished for choosing not to just leave and Waypoint somewhere else then leave.
I can’t understand the people who want to report things like this.
With the patch so close by i want to bring this to front also.
Also fatfox, i don’t the connection to this game.
If they Nerf TW.
I garentee they will come after MI and Veil next.
I’ve come to the conclusion after playing this game for 3months, the community just doesn’t like mesmers and would rather them nerfed to the point of unviability, instead of learning to cope with them.
It’s called WvW.
WvW isn’t pvp…
You guys won’t stop till they people stop bringing mesmers to sPvP.
I’m convinced, nerf after nerf on my class and its never enough.
I’m pretty sure 2hours in an MMO is not enough time to draw a conclusion.
But im glad your having fun.
The good thing about Skyrim was that the level restrictions on weapons were only on crafting them – and you had a fairly decent chance of finding weapons that wouldn’t normally drop at your level, and no restrictions on using them. On my second character I knew what to get as soon as possible, the Spellbreaker shield for example, which i could effectively use until the end of the game . The gear treadmill was a lot less pronounced.
Actually, the ‘restriction’ that came into play was the usefulness of the item itself as it scaled with the level you found it! Personally, I prefer the way GW2 is setup. I may find (or get rewarded) OP gear but I can eventually use it. In Skyrim you’d work your kitten off to get rewarded something that was down scaled to be useless.
Back on topic – just last night I ventured into a cave and set off an ‘event’. While looking around to see what it was – a large troll with an enormous HP – I hit it with a few arrows and got out of there quickly – this was clearly designed to be taken down with a group and NOT soloed. So choices – drop into chat and see if anyone else is near by that want to help tackle the troll – wait there and see if others show up – or simply skip it and move onto other things.
For those that say the game is not ‘challenging enough’ go venture onto a ‘medium’ population server on a work night and try soloing the events there. Most events have way more mobs than a single player can handle.
I often describe GW2 to friends as playing Skyrim with others. In my book this is a good thing. Anymore players then a few dozen – considering our screen size and resolution – can be considered ‘massive multiplayer’ the pretense of this MMORPG.
I like the way GW2 is designed. If I was to be forced to gang/group up with others its rather doubtful if I’d want to play it. Choice is good.
Ah missed your post.
That troll is soloable.
Most vets and champions are soloable you just need to know how to play. My Mesmer was soloing champions and vets from 40 and beyond as well as my guardian but sooner. My friend has a Ranger and an engineer and they can also solo champions. I don’t know what issue’s you were having but yes it is soloable.
But that isn’t the point
The point is party driven content which requires communication and advocates friendship because it was just that kitten hard.
Read through the kitten thread.
I had a full TA set which i salvaged (because condition as a memsmer is just horrible.)
Actually condition is fantastic for mesmers. Especially if you go heavy confusion and retaliation. I suppose everybody has different builds though.
You fogot to mention in pvp.
And Shatter with Illlusionary Persona feels a lot better to play wvw with because i mainly roam in hopes to find some one to fight. I dislike the zergs.
Been at work glad to see this thread has gained some attention. Let me clarify something for everyone about me.
I Have a Full CoE set.
I had a full TA set which i salvaged (because condition as a memsmer is just horrible.)
I’m at FoTM lvl 32.
I’ve done AC 100’s of times for gold.
I’ve done Arah a handfull of times (because its Actually group driven content)
Not of fan of SE.
Not a fan of CoF (thats a real zerg instance lol)
HotW i’ve down 100s of times.
Now for the people that say i don’t do whats in the game i’ve done them all. For the people who say i just don’t wanted to do party content i do. But the HUGE difference between party content and party driven content is. Having to coordinate and communicate with your party to succeed, the only party driven content that does this is Arah AND NO ONE RUNS IT, people are far to spoiled with the options of every other soloable thing in game so why use your head for 2hours,
And stop saying I’m playing the game wrong.
If i can’t play the game my way its not me.
It’s the game.
The journey you talk of takes about 2weeks or hardcore play maybe a month of casual play 1-80+ full exotics isn’t hard
You are missing the point.
The “journey” he was talking about is playing to have fun. Playing to reach level 80 and get maxed gear is not playing to have fun; it’s grinding to the level cap and then grinding gear, which is how all other, donkey-based, MMOs work.
I’m not asking for better gear.
I’m not asking for grind.
I’m asking for content thats not tank and spank.
I’m asking for content that makes you want to party, that makes you want to add that guy as a friend because that place was crazy.
I’m asking for content that brings people together and fight for a common goal.
What we have is ho hey a DE is going on Zerg loot leave. And not a single word was spoken not a single test spec of coordination on anyones part was incurred.
I don’t want more gear.
I want better content geared to players who want to work together as a team and feel like it was worth it not tank and spank FotM i want more things like Arah.
Especially more things like arah in the OPEN WORLD.
The only dungeon that is an exception of that is Arah, which no one runs because this game punishes complex play because why do arah where you can goto fotm which is 30x easier.
Okay, today I had two unsuccessful runs of level 4. In one of them I actually liked the people running with me, but we died multiple times and had to give up because of the lack of time. Easier you say?! I ran Arah. I enjoyed it. Fractals are actually more difficult for me. On Underworld server you can still find groups going to all the dungeons, including Arah. Use the online LFG tool if you want to run Arah that much, though don’t say to me that Fractals are “easy” when you don’t run them that often.
I’m at fotm 32…..
I play on jade quarry and i use gw2lfg.com.Jade quarry is one of the most populated severs on NA.
From 1-32 i’ve maybe wiped 10times (if that much.)
what class are you playing and what is your build?
Mesmer phatasm based with focus talents to i can help reflect projectiles in Dredge and the Flame shaman fotm and the asura one aswell.
With Phatasmal Healing and the Regen + the shatter heal mastery.
Must have been hard to master
![]()
I’m a necro, with recent adjustments to my build, built for survival, toughness and condition damage. I still have problems in a team of squishes only. Though, bravo to you sir for playing one of the hardest classes
Thanks it’s not hard to play it just takes dedication and understanding of how you skills work and how long your cds are, once you know how everything works you’ll always have 1 or 2 phatasms up and you’ll always be able to shatter with mindreck when its ready.

I’m starting to see things being posted about “its about the journey” which is avoiding which i pointed out.
But i’ll bite for a seconds.
The journey you talk of takes about 2weeks or hardcore play maybe a month of casual play 1-80+ full exotics isn’t hard, and it can be done with out whispering a word to anyone.
That’s the feel of a single player game right there, let me give you an example. Borderlands 2. The game is completely soloable with the option of co-op (upto 4players). The difference is the game rewards you for completing content not only that on higher levels of play and it is impossible to complete without coordination and skills.
GW2 has somewhat of a party driven content but it requires nothing more then the occasional dodge the red circle, or some stupidly easy gimmick. The only dungeon that is an exception of that is Arah, which no one runs because this game punishes complex play because why do arah where you can goto fotm which is 30x easier.
Its the same thing that happens in all tiers of this game why party when you can solo everything.
If this game is about the journey this game will lose traction. It may seem that i pointed out party driven content but realise Arah is the only Dungeon i enjoy and the only example of something that to be GW2 did right.
Reason?
1. Orr is really annoying and slow to do on your own
2. You want to party up and spend time with people.there’s your reasons. It’s optional. You know what’s great about that? You are not forbidden from doing it. You know what I do half the time while exploring? Party up with my boyfriend. Help some noob from the guild. Party up with a friend. Do I have to? Thank godness no, I can solo the content pretty well and am happy about it. If you want to socialize you do, if you don’t then you don’t. Why do you want to take the freedom of choice away from people that like soloing?
I don’t want solo players to have less freedom, I want party players to have more freedom. That’s the difference. Why should one kind of players be treated better than the other?
There’s a lot more to the game than Orr. Especially when you are leveling up. And even when you party with somebody else, where is the strategy that makes partying fun?
I’ve went to Orr, and I haven’t seen party-content. I have seen group zergs, which is a completely different thing. I haven’t see party strategy. I haven’t discussed with someone on how we should beat this guy or overcome that obstacles. I have simply joined the zergs, spammed skills, and finished events while watching TV.
This is not fun. And even if it was, it’s a zone only for level 75-ish or more. What about everything else? What about the other optional maps? And the story instances?
GW2 only truly starting having casual party-driven content with the monthly content patches, especially with Mad King’s and Tixx’s instances, and it has almost no deep party content outside of dungeons.
Partying with your lover or personal friend is cool, but if I want to party with anyone else to meet new people and make new friends, which adventure can make me help other people? Events are a zerg. Hearts are 100% solo, there’s not even an option. Exploration is mostly solo, because everyone has different explored and unexplored maps, and it’s a waste of time going back to a place you’ve been for the sake of “helping” someone in your party. But they won’t usually even need help.
if you needed to discuss a full strategy just to complete hearts it would be less solo friendly, so if you want more freedom for parties, you would be sacrificing freedom for solos.
Also another thing – what other MMO did it differently? How is leveling in Warcraft different in this regard? Every single quest is easily doable alone and most people indeed do so.
“Everyone has different explored and unexplored maps” and what would you suggest? Force everyone to have a copy of everything is explored because some person did that exploration months ago and you want everyone to have the same kind of exploration? The exploration is not account bound, it’s character bound, meaning that if you want the same kind of exploration, create a character at the same time with your friend and agree to not to play those characters when one of you is not online. Simple!
WoW had plenty of quests you had to do with a party…
Specifically vanilla and BC.
Uhm they even had quests that were in dungeons that linked to the main world.
Like attunement or quests that started in the world and ended in the instances. Did you even play WoW?
And WoW isn’t even the first to do it i don’t even like WoW but i admit they had better party content then GW2.
“Too much stuff here is optional”
Yes.
The game gives you the option of talking to people, not when you are forced to, but rather when you want to.
If you are playing the game by yourself, without never trying to interact with people simply because the game is not forcing you to… Why are you playing a MMO, again?
The thing is.
Everything is obtainable without help.
I play MMO’s to work with people to obtain a great goal you could not do alone. There’s none of that in GW2.And no one ever wants to why would i want to risk repair bill on players who may not be good on content i can complete on my own?
1. You can’t get dungeon gear sets without communicating with at least 5 players (that is if you decide to run with one group only)
2. You can’t get ascendeds in fractals alone and once again have to communicate with at least 5 people (that is if you decide to run all 10 levels to get your ring with one group only)
3. You can’t perform well in WvW with 0 communication. Best teams are the ones that work together.
4. Spvp is not very good without communication either.
5. While communicating during events is optional you can’t complete high level events on your on (dragons, etc).
6. You can’t do the last part of your story alone.I actually like the fact that the game does not shove communication down my throat. I have a very small guild that I chat with occasionally and I like running dungeons. Sure it’s a gamble what kind of people are going to be in your group, but I enjoy socializing with them when it’s a good group, however if it was essential that I do that throughout every minute of playing the game I wouldn’t like it.
Basically all zergs.
But aside from that all party driven content is all instanced and locks you in with a set group.
How interesting what an amazing point you just made.
I only want to play with friends, guildies and other trusted people. When those people are offline, I like that I can do most things solo.
One of my friends and I have been keeping one of our Alts in sync, doing the same story missions together whilst chatting over VOIP. Is it necessary? No. But it’s more fun than doing the story solo, so we like it.
That keeps you isolated from making new friends and forming new alliances. That’s mmo’s are at its core about. Meeting new players and playing together. Over 1027 hours i have 13friends on my list….
Only 13…and im extremely sociable.
They should have rerolled the account removed the items or gold they made or roll back everything.
Perma ban for the mistake anet made is totally wrong. I’ve never seen an mmo ban players for a mistake on the devs part.
If they were hacking i would understand but this was uncalled for.
The best part of GW2 is that it isn’t designed to force player cooperation. This is also the worst part of GW2. For better or for worse, it’s the design choice that sets the game apart. I try to appreciate it for what it is.
Yes, yes, very much yes! Good thing someone mentioned the other side of the coin.
There’s no adventure to do with your friends in GW2, unless you enjoy dungeons. There’s no story missions like GW1. There’s no party-driven content outside of dungeons or pvp. There’s no means to stick with a friend and both follow a story or explore the world in a way that does not waste our time.
There’s no obstacles to overcome with a cooperative group through general pve, outside of a few scattered champions.
By giving you the option of playing solo, GW2 takes from you the option of doing party content. At first, GW2’s general pve seems to appeal to both types of players, but in the end, it handles everything to solo players and forgets players who love parties.
I feel forced to NOT joining a party because doing somebody else’s story instance won’t advance mine’s, because exploring the world with other players is a mess, as they have done different hearts than me, and because it’s not even needed, so most players will simply ignore their party – if they even join in one – if they ever get an invite.
Exceptional post so im not alone here.
This is good to know maybe Anet will get on this.
I think the best part of GW2 is the large amount of ad-hoc cooperation between players. It’s something I’ve never before seen in an MMO setting. In most MMOs, you largely stay by yourself unless you’re forming a group to accomplish something. Random folk are often seen as nuisances to someone doing quests. People basically never randomly start working together without any coordination or without using the group mechanic.
That’s completely different in GW2 because it’s there’s no reason not to. You might not talk to anyone, but you’re actually interacting with other people far more than almost any other MMO.
True. Perhaps “cooperation” was the wrong word, and I should have used “coordination” or something.
I think zerging would be a better word. But i might be mean and bitter about my world experience outside of southsun.
I hate to compare with WoW but it’s kinda the same thing there. You hardly ever see people talking in general chat anywhere other than the main cities. Although in Gw2 I think more people would have more reason to communicate.. As questing and what not can actually be challenging.
It’s kinda sad but maybe that’s just how MMOs are now a days?
No i agree with you i consider it Lobby of Warcraft. I quit during WotLK it has become a silent game. How ever i must say vanilla WoW far more different and social then LK Cata and Mists combined.
I’m far to experienced in mmo’s and gaming in general to suddenly pull aggro and kill myself and others.
Experience in other MMOs is more detrimental than a benefit in GW2. Many MMO players jump from MMO to MMO seeking a copy of their first virtual world, whether they realize it or not (there’s a great read about it here). Considering how the main qualities of GW2 are in how it’s different from other MMOs, this can lead people to play the game as if it were something it’s not. Trying to play GW2 as if it were a classic MMO is a recipe for failure, as there would be little to no satisfaction to be earned from that.
Interesting read, the only thing this did for me though was considering to quit Gw2 and play TERA with my friends.
I do notice the community in game is a little quiet… But then again that might just be me being new and shy. I dunno much about the game yet so I dont have much to talk about.
However I really like the cooperative gameplay Gw2 has. When people band together to do a hard quest or big boss fight it’s basically the same as being grouped together. We’re working together and no one has to miss out.
Curious. Have you ever tried to spark a conversation?
I have over 1k hours of this game, I have plenty of times where I talk a bit in yell maybe party some one (9times out of 10 its declined). Things like shatterer and jormag, and orr people do group up but not in a party because its not needed and its the most silent zerg ever.
The only exception is southsun karka farming and rich ori mining. Since you have to party up there to grind faster and efficiently and you have to pt up to get to that rich ori vein the community there is pretty vocal southsun is one of my favorite spots to chill too.
But yeah this game is quiet outside of LA man.
Edit : Grammar.
(edited by Genesis.5169)
Nope i don’t want to look unique or anything.
Or maybe you guys fear that the armor might take some actual commitment to get.
and are you saying that you never failed and made the others wipe because of a mistake?
and i would like to see you get Stone Mist alone or even a Keep for that mather without cheating in any way even without any enemy attacking you
and are you groupe up with people just because your in party with them or are you grouped up with people because you do the same contend with manly the same goal as them?
i would say the later as no mather if your in a groupe or not loot is personal so its all a mather of how sociable you are and how much initiativ you take that mathers
No i haven’t not in my lifetime of GW2.
I’m far to experienced in mmo’s and gaming in general to suddenly pull aggro and kill myself and others.
Have you been with people who pull every add in an instance for no reason who dies. Or that guy who fails to make it on a easy run and everyone dies or wipes to save him?
Your telling me you have never died because some idiot failed to succeed?
Outside a dungeon? No. And dungeons cannot be soloed, so the point is moot. There is nothing else in this game that people call a “run”, so your argument doesn’t make much sense.
Orr?
Southsun?
Mass orr pulls for no reason?
Some one pulling 3 veteran karkas for no reason?
Do you do world pve at all?
Everything is obtainable without help.
Yes. So, again, you are not forced to play with other people; you can play with people when you want to. If you never play with people because you never want to play with people, well…
And no one ever wants to why would i want to risk repair bill on players who may not be good on content i can complete on my own?
…Why would you risk repair bills because you were playing with other people? You are assuming that playing with others would make you die more, is that it? Where did you get that idea from?
Have you been with people who pull every add in an instance for no reason who dies. Or that guy who fails to make it on a easy run and everyone dies or wipes to save him?

Take away the MM and you won’t be able to do anything you listed that you said you could do without it.
Take away all people and there are no WvWvW, take away all people and you can’t do dungeons, take away people and you won’t even be able to group.
All the stuff you have gained is the help of other people even if you think it or not. All the events you have completed some people helped you, all the people who charged that castle helped you, all those people you grouped with to kill a dungeon boss helped you, and you helped then.
All with no communication or a common goal. It’s basically the same thing as GW1 where you had npcs. Only the npcs are somewhat smarter and manually controlled.
(edited by Genesis.5169)
I really wanted to defend GW2 I got all my friends to play and then they pretty much told me something that changed my mind about this game.
“Too much stuff here is optional”
You don’t even have to speak to another player in game and you can get full Exotics. You don’t even have to talk to anyone and you get credit for Boss DE’s and WvW. I’m starting to notice i rarely party with anyone outside of dungeons. I don’t party with anyone in WvW either, spvpp doesn’t really count.
This entire game is solable and since it is no one communicates outside of LA.
Anyone getting this feel i’m starting to feel that the MM in MMO is lost for GW2.
So was that a good idea or what?
It’s in the wrong forum (it’s a Suggestion, so should be in the suggestion forum) and it’s a bad idea. Making a new armor set is too time consuming; it would be a waste to make an armor set and limit it to a single profession, not to mention a specific profession-race combination (and that would be waaaay too many armor sets anyway).
When has alot of content been a bad thing again?
Anyhow i believe it would be a good idea i don’t like the fact my mesmer looks like my Ele it makes no sense.
Not a mesmer.
Don’t do it to your self bro.
Bugs everywhere.
If it can bring in small scale pvp yes.
If it can bring an Spvp where you can bring your gear yes.
If it makes WvW more rewarding yes.
If it fixes the 400million bugs in the game yes.
If it gets a little bit away from omg i look so cool yes.
It’s simple.
I. Do. Not. Like. Zergs.
There is no skill to it. No strategy. No Progression.
It’s just group up bombard a wall fail or succeed or ghost and win.
I personally would like to see something more small scale maybe a ladder system where teams compute in various sizes. And matchmaking is based on your w/l rate.
Like a.
3v3 or a 4v4 and i would love somewhere where i can 1v1 people to.
Basically.
Walls of text are fun.
I didn’t read the post.
I do not plan to read to post.
Not until grammar find away in to that post.
But regarding the subject (which i am assuming because i didn’t read the post.)
Thiefs are fine fix the stealth bug.
Warriors are fine.
Ele’s are fine.
Guardians are fine. (maybe a nerf to their glass cannon spec there’s to much cannon and not enough glass.
Mesmers kind of a hard one i play a mesmer in pve we don’t bring much and in pvp we don’t bring much either but we are so hard to balance because we have so many tools ( Maybe increase some of our cds and give us more frontloaded damage or something)
Engineers fix them im not gonna get into why BUT THEY ARE HORRIBLE AT EVERYTHING.
Rangers/Necros same boat good at things pets are another story.
Mods will attack me.
But really guys, you think this mmo will last with omg i look so cool?
Do you have some kinda weird distorted view on what the mmo genre is?
Do you not realize that a majority of players are not logging in Because omfg i look so cool is not enough?
Do you not realize that if this game wants to be successful people need to login and buy gems and most people aren’t gonna spend money on gems for omfg i look so cool?
People these days….
The level of entitlement in this thread is staggering.
Why must everything have a super awesome reward attached to it? What happened to playing games for fun?
Normally i would agree with you. I Dislike casuals. I dislike people who feel that they should be able to steamroll through content. Most of all i hate people in favor DE’s because it requires no skill and they can zerg and ride on peoples coat tails for free loot and gold.
But seriously the final story mission should give something worth the “final”. I mean honestly i’ve yet to complete my story mission on any of my toons. I have 2 ascendent infused rings 1 back piece not infused. Full Exo, and tons of t6 mats. Working on 100% exploration and a legendary.
No intention of doing the story quest atm because the time required to do it and the reward don’t mix well for me.
So what is is it your getting at?
Do what everyone to be the same or do you want all specs to be the same?
Or are you pointing out the obvious?
Cause im trying to figure out an angle but i seriously can’t figure out what direction to go to discuss this topic.
But honestly it just seems like a clearly hidden class balance sucks Anet why can’t my warrior spam fireballs too.
Gosh this whole thread makes it sound like a level 2 fractal player is a complete and utter noob. Remember, most likely that player has played, obviously, to 80 and probably has a full set of exotics. He/she isnt a noob.
Relax.
You seem to think its wrong to have to prove your self to the group before you can join. Will you pay for my repair bills? Will give me all the time i wasted because some newbie/scrub failed to pull his weight?
If not please stop with this OH i have exotics im pro crap.
I’ve seen people in LEGENDARIES fail at arah why? Because they either A sucked or B had no experience.
Let us see fotm levels and all is fine anet.
I can confirm this but i do believe it has something to do with the mesmer animation on the attack i noticed that wide attacks tend to be more sensitive to walls especially the mesmer GS.
I just did fotm and in the AC fractal the hill at the boss is enough to LoS me and i get no damage i have to put my self in danger to get some hits in which in turn ruins my dps, because im closer.
Anet you guys need to fix the GS please.
It’s basically people who already have legendarily don’t want people to use it too. Thats pretty much it.
No one is forcing you to buy the legendary.
No one is forcing you to make one either.
Yet the complaints.
Ofcourse this is just my humble opinion.
Personally i’m fine with this change as long i can see peoples current fractal level or something.
I don’t want bad people in my Fotm. For the people who say stop puging. Something your down one man and you need to find that one guy or sometimes you login late and you wanna do you daily and your guild has done it already.
Let us see players fotm levels and this is a pure win for me.
I like to grind thats why i play mmos.
MMO and every mmo before this had some aspect of grinding wether you liked their grinding or this grinding ITS your opinion.
Also remove DR ANET if your gonna force people TO GRIND, DO NOT punish PEOPLE for GRINDING.
Also this is my opinion the mods here are freaking insane.
To the people who said DR is there for a reason.
No. Stop. Your making no sense, it will never make any sense and it never did make any sense.
Secondly, i do agree DR should be removed and certain events should be buffed. Not to say im poor but t6 mats and lode stones add up.
It’s okay to have heavy grindy items you have to forge but give some one another option to get it. I’m an hardcore dungeon runner and Lets say infinite light I am going to have to shell out 400g. Dungeons don’t even normally yeild 1g let alone 400. (FotM is an exclusion from that).
So i am forced to grind World mobs t6 mats etc to make money to make an item. But then you guys turn around and punish me for grinding. So what am i supposed to do not play?
Really is anet telling me if i wanna grind logout or we punish you?
Also inb4 go do wvwvw and spvp. I love pvp I HATE zergfests none of that comes down to skill it comes down to which team has more aoe and a higher frame rate.
