Anyone check if you dc in fractals can you return did they fix the dc bug in-general?
I mean really they wanna fix non game breaking exploits but when it comes to a game breaking bug which IS game breaking (i’ve lost 3 party members in cliffside fractals at once) they drag there feet..
Apologies if its fixed.
All my rage if it isn’t just need some info.

Nerf to shatter….
I don’t want it to be honest but it will come.
Cause everyone loves to cry people don’t understand mesmers have i total of 3 offensive skills open. That right guys 3 damaging skills with front loaded damage.
I feel they should hurt because you have so few but they don’t feel the same.
Well..
I play a mesmer.
I agree with you.
But i’d rather them rework the scepter first,
I think mesmers are the only class that have a really really really kittenty weapon.
Sound like your playing the wrong mmo bro.
gw2lfg.com
You should try to atleast do research b4 you start the kittening.
I can find arah, coe, cof, hotw anything i want all you need to do is look.
People complaining they can’t steam roll all content.
You guys won’t be happy till everything is 1shot k.o. and you get free exotics for just a login.
Infraction inc. But i really had to put that out there.

Dungeons.
Open world is too easy.
Too many people riding on your coat tails.
Open world is only about taging and zerging requires absolutely no skill.
Arah Fotm 30+, requires atleast coordination and not mindless zerging or go kill this for a task or an event.
Dungeons is where things get real and where you skill and ability to adapt comes to play other then dungeons pvp is also awesome.
Attended/No Loot/No Mail
Ah, here we go….
You opened the door :P
Nope. I offered an opinion of a game.
Now you’re going to whip out your kitten to as if it’s a legitimate argument.
Buh-bye
The original poster offered a full detailed explanation of his point of view, the atleast you can do is match it with an argument that is equally substantial in information.
My information is, if you dislike the game so much that your able to write a long detailed report about it on the forums.
You dislike the game enough to leave.
I don’t like people complaining for the sake of complaining or just complaining in general to the masses to get sympathy. Personally i dont see the freaking point in all of this, there’s no subscription stop playing. That’s all.
Really guys.
If you don’t like playing and you can point out so many faults with the game.
Stop. Playing.
No one is forcing you, not even that dreaded monthly bill.
We will stop grinding when.
1. We nolonger want to be the best.
2. When kitten becomes less expensive.
3. When kitten becomes alot less expensive.
4. When kitten becomes reasonably priced.
Till then ima grind 5hours a day every day till i get to my goal.
Then run around in LA with my legendaries with all you guys saying in your minds he looks pretty cool i wish i had that.
Also stealth nerfs what i haven’t noticed anything.
Welcome to mmo’s where you can’t solo everything.
Really guys how is this a thread where people are posting.
There’s over 2000 posts about this same crap.
I’m so tired of this.
If you don’t like the game leave.
I want to make gold.
In a reasonable fast way.
Without legendary precursors being 400g.I want to farm in a area with mobs that drop a specific mat or item that i know will net me money.
I want to farm in an area so i can get t6 mats to make exotics to salvage, or sell.
I want to make gold. To be the best.
Except that if they lowered the bar as far as you’re asking, “the best” would become the new average
I play an average of 5hours a day. I can net around 10g.
Precursors cause 150g 400g.
Not including mats.
I’m asking for a modest removal of DR thats all.
How will the bar be low?

And im not a bot or gold seller.
I honestly think they nerfed gold to make gems > gold more attractive.
I’m going to take this time and say stellar post.
It just indeed crying like the most of the GD forums.
But there’s math behind this.
Also your only applying this equation in a normal linear environment. For example I play a mesmer my clones take my crit.
When they crit they cause bleeding. I want consistent crits so i can get 25 stacks of bleeding. i deal about 103 damage a stack.
103×25 is nearly 2.5k dps.
Not including other things that i get on crit like vigor which has no internal cd so i can constantly dodge.
I understand the trade of huge but there is a reason for it.
Also just to add most boss fights and pvp fight arent stationary burst will come into play more so then not.
Which crit helps you with.
There are very few fights in game where you stand there wailing away for 3-5mins on end.

I just see a lot of complaining…
Why can’t we have meaningful threads here.
You don’t want to exploit you should have left the group don’t reap the benefits and then come here to complain.
Make your own kitten groups people if you don’t like what people are doing no one is forcing you to do anything.
(edited by Genesis.5169)
They should fix all the classes we have now before the release anything. Even in the expansion. If i see an expansion fulled with fixes and no content ill be equally happy.
Been looking around the net and i’ve gotten nothing.
How the kitten is Anet responsible for auction house prices?
What is with you people its like you want some one to hold your hand or something.
You wanna fix the market buy it out.
UNDERCUTT everything.
Babies i swear.
Seriously, all the whining is starting to get annoying it was okay a first i actually felt a little for you guys. But know I just want to bash my head on the keyboard anytime i come to the forums.
Please put all your tears in one topic you don’t need your own topic to make your self feel important. Honestly the first 2 pages on the GD forums are filled with tears on the same subject, that’s disgraceful. I heard the demographic for this game is 18-35 but all of you are acting like kids grow up.
If not put it in one topic.
Ignore the CoRPG comment. Its fine. It doesn’t exist.
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Guild_Wars
Guild Wars is a CORPG, or Competitive/Cooperative Online Role Playing Game developed for Windows by ArenaNet and published by NCsoft. The first campaign of Guild Wars, Guild Wars Prophecies was released on April 28, 2005. The different genre was chosen (as opposed to the classic “Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) RPG”) due to the perceived differences between the game and other, more traditional MMOs: the focus on Player versus Player (PvP) rather than Player versus Environment (PvE) play made it almost a unique case at the time, players received their own instanced copy of explorable zones and parties were limited to 8 players each, a tiny number compared to the massive caps of other games, which often allowed for up to 64 players in a single party (and unlimited players in non-instanced zones, which were the norm).
Now that the that’s settled and all if not most conversations have been crushed we can continue on with other debates anything more?
“Thanks for leaving”, “QQ more”, “Don’t let the door hit you on the way out” – such respectful and well-considered remarks in response to someone voicing an opinion or concern. I love a great community.
What does one do about the flood of tears coming from gear you don’t have to get to be usefull in other settings.
I see you have a better tldr now.
GW1 is an MMO, it just wasn’t a WoW-clone. Sorry, you’re wrong.
Yeah even the people at Anet disagree with you they called it a CoRPG themselves. But keep talking it amuses me.
In gw1 the “open world” was the towns. Everything else was basically dungeon’s. How is that different from other mmo’s? Most of the people hang in the city or are secluded in an instance.
The difference is you could do those dungeons with no one but yourself and some moutain dew and doritos.
Guild Wars 1 wasn’t an MMO it was a single player rpg with co-op options. You could not see people in an open world unless you partied them. Ill give you an example, Borderlands 2 you can play through alone or with people it was up to you that is what Guild Wars 1 was.
Guild Wars 2 is an MMO stop trying to Compare the two together.
Please. Stop.
I’m on my knees here. I really rage a little inside when i hear Guild Wars and MMO in the same sentence.
waah waah I love playing the game but the moment Anet attaches a reward to something it becomes work.
Reward should not exist for you i take it then.
What I’m getting is what want good rewards for doing things lower then you level.
That’s interesting.
Not sure if troll.
But i agree with him none the less and good night peoples.
The general consensus is casual which holds no ground to the game because they will eventually get bored and leave the game like they do with everything.
You heard it hear first.
Wouldn’t it be the opposite? Casual players keep playing because they will never run out of stuff to do. Hardcore players quit out of boredum because they finished all the content.
Wonder if ANet will be able to figure out how to please both casual and hardcore players
Hardcores stay because they have invested so much time into the game and its hard to leave that kind of effort.
Hell i said with wow for 8 years 3 of those years i stop liking the game but i put so much work in the game i left.
Casuals are bound by nothing but attention span and in the video game populace there isn’t much of that look at every mmo that’s come out besides WoW. they come and they leave as the wind comes and leaves only the hardcores stayed.
You don’t like gear progression?
You don’t like people being picky with party invites?
You want to have fun?
Make your own party have fun with people like you!
Don’t rely on that gear treadmill guy to make a party just start by LFGing.
Gn HF all I’ve gotten like 10infractions today for speaking my mind.
/bow
Then do the Dungeon for fun.
Make your own party find people as casual as you are and do it.
It’s not that hard. Unless you want to be group with the people who want to win and grind in the most efficient way because of the gear. But then you would be benefiting off the “gear treadmill”.
God why do so many gw2 players feel entitled to everything. Not pointing fingers at anyone.
This right here. Why are so many GW2 players wanting gear progression? They feel entitled to play a game and change it to what they have already played in many other games even when the marketing said this wouldnt be like those?
Not pointing fingers at anyone.
Paraphrasing me like a boss.
Way to take my post out of context.
You guys dont make sense. I mean, you talk about how awesome this dungeon is, how fun it can be. You more then likely will play it many, many, many times. You say oh god how i wish it was just cosmetic upgrades, but instead its cosmetic AND stat boost.
I ask this…what does it matter what it drops? Your going to be running these dungeons over and over again because you like it, and you have fun with it.
You all seem to over dramatize the minor stat boosts like its the end of the world. If its a fun game, its a fun game. Period.
The people mad about the stat boosts are the ones who don’t enjoy dungeons, and they won’t be running it. The people in this thread are just saying that the dungeon is fun without having the increased stats, implying Anet could have made people who enjoy running dungeons happy as well as those who don’t at the same time.
So can’t you enjoy the dungeon and ignore the loot.
And the people who don’t enjoy the dungeon get the loot.
And you guys can give us your loot too?
I think that would solve everyone’s issue right there.
Do you expect people to automaticly want you in your party?
If no one is inviting you make your own.
I see nothing wrong with this is just a bunch of people making sure they win. If they don’t feel like they can win with you in there party the deal with it.
God why do so many gw2 players feel entitled to everything. Not pointing fingers at anyone.
The general consensus is casual which holds no ground to the game because they will eventually get bored and leave the game like they do with everything.
You heard it hear first.
I don’t understand you people.
Maximizing you chances of success is bad.
If you not getting into a party make your own is that so hard?
Why do you casuals always demand that the game caters to you every want and need…
What i get from the game is you don’t want to work for you gear.
Fine don’t no one is forcing you to.
Go do other content with your other casual friends, all mmo’s need progression if there is none why play?
If you can’t see your character grow and you become stagnate i’m positive that all the casuals in this thread will start to cry about there’s nothing to do i’m bored give me new content that i can’t roll in 1day.
Weren’t have you guy kittening about 2month ago about there being nothing to do post 80 now you get something and its still a problem?
I dislike you people to the utmost i try to accept casuals but everyday you find little ways to make me hate you.
Where is the information posted at?
If there’s no link to anywhere im just going to assume bullkitten and trolling.
Secondly i don’t think Anet will nerf us anymore i mean really there isnt anything that they can nerf that would put us into kitten tier.
Unless they don’t care if we go kitten tier….
Don’t play my class, please. It takes more then looking cool to be a mesmer.
Do me a favor and stop picking classes due to aesthetics and pick them because you like how the play.
Thanks alot that 3rd pointer is a great one i had no idea replacing a clone is equivalent to killing it.
Mesmer Crit bleed build?
I was thinking of a build to use my illusions as damage instead of shattering them.
How viable is this im only level 40 my knowledge of the class isn’t amazing but i have been doing quite a bit of research and i don’t want to be one of the shatter mesmer nanny boys.
In my current lvl 40 gear i can amass 63% crit chance im thinking if can manage the same amount at lvl 80 thoughts opinions?

Tell me if it’ll work of if any of you guys have tried it before for pvp i know i lack defenses but this has the possibility of doing alot of condition damage w/o and still do massive damage with your 1h sword 2 i haven’t decided on my off-hand yet.
(edited by Genesis.5169)
Thanks for all the input.
Thanks to you guys i know i picked the right class for me.
Lvl 17 thus far what should i expect the grind isn’t bad im able to survive and deal decent dps. Hows the pvp and the late game are they current UP or OP I love the class but I hate not know what my end game is like.
