Yesterday evening was relaxing for Necrosis in Elona BL.
We focused on Bay,escorting dollys and providing support to any defense needed on the south-western part of the map.We were only 9 tops so not many things we could do.
Thanks to SFRJ,SPRT from our side and [imp]/[merc]/ [BuLL](jesus how many melee do you have?Alltogether you truly make a bull)/[WAR](weren’t you on Piken some time ago?)

Thanks to [HERO] and [Run] for the fights..you got way too many Necromancers or they are doing a tremendous job..specialy HERO.
We also had fun farming many elonas as a 5 man party in their Longview..epic fight.

I would avise against cleric gear.Cleric trinkets are only good if you wanna sustain yourself,not others.Most of the healing you give to your comrades is through their blasts.You just provide the fields.If speced correctly regen will do some good by removing conditions but it will NOT save anyone in a zerg.Try to to have a good amount of health 16-17k+ with armor over 2500, 3000 attack power and over 30% critical chance.

You can go much higher than the stats i mentioned but you will be paper and will require great skill not to die.

Please for the love of WvW..get out of this thread.

Necrosis had an absolute blast yesterday in AR BL..we managed to get 14 people in and we roamed the map helping here and there.
Special thanks to FeaR PAIN and other guilds for giving and receiving lootbags.The epic battles were countless can’t even begin to describe all of them..Hope for more this evening

Necrosis had a 15man raid in PS BL yesterday evening.It always the worst BL in the evenings so we thought to go there and reinforce it a bit.I have to say the following :

1)Vizunah Square..Your players have tremendous will and fortitude sitting there almost 4 hours straight,calling out inc and most importantly kill 80% of our dollyaks.We never managed to upgrade Cliffside and we lost it more than 4 times.When you managed to get it you actualy sieged it up and broke our fortified garrison in a matter minutes while it took us hours to defend our northern towers.Thats respect to you..shows you are more than an endless sea of lootbags,though i got to ask those people doing all these “missions” ..do you get paid for it? xD…just j/k..good job none the less.

On a side note the battle of the garrison was a 3 way..we had VS north and SFR south gate..i could call it doubleteaming like all the trolls of SFR in this thread..instead i will say it was good strategy.We were hardpressed all day in our Borderland from both sides by both servers.We see it we cry in /map we deal with it..end of story..i suggest you do the same.

2)SFR..gotta say kuddos to [iddq] you showed us that guilds are not dead on SFR and that you can take on most of the enemy servers force…we couldn’t engage you head on the northern camp we were 12 at the time and lots of friendlies running everywhere so we decided to spread and hit and run.Imo you had really good movement.

I was easy to call you a troll, but that’s not you problem, your real problem it’s ignorance about the game, so it will be far better to understand the game instead of coming here and insult other people.

With 3 sides its normal that 2 sides attack one, WATT IT’S NOT NORMAL IT’S THAT PIKEN ALLWAYS ATTACK SFR. Between us and VS it’s always like this, there so many stories that prove this. And btw as far as I know the situation as changed a bit in EB, and I think in all maps. Some on posted here that PS flipped Durios 6 times; It’s a perfect ridicule number for a match near the end.

To the people that are saying that VS destroyed SFR, look for a comment for someone that matters from VS side saying that, I only see some losers making a party with second place, SFR only play to win, win its be in the first place. This is round 1 match one, please don’t underestimate us.

Oh man..my last post got deleted and i got a warning…yet all these self-called righteous forum warriors continue to babble their own piece of…whatever they do anyway.

I am happy to say Necrosis managed to defeat the ques and have a raid of 13 people in SFR borderland yesterday.We managed to stay away from t he blob and do many things..such as defending and ninja-caping keeps close to SFRs spwn point.

We also managed to find drum roll ENEMIES THAT DO NOT FOLLOW THEIR SERVERS BLOBS…how awesome was that!!!!!?We actualy had a couple of good fights and could have more.I think one guild we found yet we did not engage had a tag that was [ppH-] and something else i do not recall.Hope we can clash in the field one of these days .

This trait is clearly there for spvp and WvW and its usefull only for combat.

Being a WvW player i can see its usefullness but i am not sure its worth sacrificing an air trait for it.It would be better if it was passive or if the bonus speed lasted longer.

Basicly it gives you the distance needed to avoid some melee hits when the pain train decides to go after you.

Its helpfull for staff..gives some combat mobility and can help you avoid the pain but you already know that when you use staff you as the player already does that.

About s/d i haven’t tested but it must be good there too since the Fresh air builds have little mobility.

Overall i would switch according to the situation.

What i learned from yesterdays reset is that i hate zerg fights even more now.
Congrats to SFR for managing to break our blob even if we moved well.
Unfortunatly its who has the strongest button 1 in these situations.
Looking forward to meet 10-15 man groups for some fights with Necrosis

I am thinking of dusting off my lil Gua for WvW.I am running with my guild mostly (maximum of 15 people) and i was thinking of going Cleric gear with Berserker weapons and a mix of 2xPVT rings/Celestial neck Cavalier back and maybe some Knight or PVT accesories.

So i am asking you what traits would you use and if you think this build would be helpfull for organised play.Also,is shield/mace worth it in WvW?if not..what weapons would you use.I guess staff is a must.

What traits do you pick up at Lightning line?…also judging by your HP you are either playing with Knight armor or maybe Celestial..anyway nice fights and you play nice knowing when to get in deep or stay out. clap

Yesterday Elona Border showed clearly for the whole evening that Piken can go on without massive blobs.We had i think 4-5 guild raids on the map ranging from 8 to 30 people…Mya..Swords of the Underworld…Necr and some more..sorry i do not recall.
No commander on the map for more than 3hours and we dominated the map.

I will not talk about our adversaries because i want to avoid comming kittenstorm.All in all had a lot of fun running with 8man team caping objectives and finding those rare but equal groups around the map

Are you talking about armor only or trinkets and weapons included?

Celestial is not bad for roaming specialy if you have a partner.Elementalist is the only class that can make 100% use of this set.(maybe Engi too)

If you really wanna go Celestial armor i would advise not to drop below 2500-600 armor.You won’t be able to avoid fights with more opponents and armor and patience is critical in WvW.Elementalist will not burst down an opponent like a necro or a warrior..you chip away until they have no cds to keep em going.I suppose you know all that.So it would be best to keep your trinkets Knight/PVT with a celestial neck and your weapons PVT always be it staff or D/D.With guard buff and foods you should have enough attack power to be a threat.

Also what runes are you gonna chose?

Anyone claiming his/her server does not blob is a kittening hypocrite.
To our opponents please understand..Piken Square has a certain philosophy…its Spine are the organised WvW guilds.That does not mean that they do not team up as blobs to counter your blobs.Get it straight to your heads.I have no idea about your servers but i have seen other servers being driven by sheer numbers and mindless players.On Piken this is not the case…at least not for now.

QQing aside..Necrosis are starting to go out in the field again in small parties.We were lucky the past 2 weeks to find groups equally sized that provided some challenge.Keep doing just that guys.Small groups can work in zerg enviroment.

If you run with the Zerg staff is the way to go.
If you run with your guild staff is also the way to go.
If your guild has 1-2 staff elementalists you can afford to go D/D (0/10/0/30/30 or with Melandrux2/Waterx2/Monkx2 runes 0/0/10/30/30)
If you run alone roaming D/D is the way to go.

Anet i hope you realise how bad this is for your playerbase…in a game called GUILD WARS people are unable to search for guilds in their games forums.
Being a member a of a greek community guild i don’t even want to know how many greek players have searched for a greek guild in this game and have failed because search option doesn’t work…its also highly likely those players have quited the game.I suggest you get it fixed before the next update.

I recently made a thread about my guild titled Necrosis Greek WvW guild on Piken Square and when i use the search bar and type words like..Necrosis or Greek i find nothing..it says 0 results…any ideas of what might be the problem?

Take a chill pill all…you go forward with what they give you…Elementalist is in a pretty good state…stop crying for not being godmode anymore.

Staff is what you want to carry if you are running with an organised group.
You are the pillar of organised play..You provide fields for might buffing(fire field)
water field for healing at regrouping…stun and slow effects…there is nothing that can match it…not a weapon..no class.
Good thing is that staff is basicly viable with almost every build,providing you have some points in arcana to take Blasting Staff trait..its really usefull.

Solo play…definitly NOT viable..you will be needing at least 1 or 2 partners to get the job done.
Btw..2 elementalists can destroy a castle wall full of defenders..no joke…Meteor was made for these monster blobs that run in WvW atm.

I tried S/D 0/30/0/10/30 in WvW..my stats are a bit mixed//Berserker Scepter..Soldier dagger..Knight armor with Knight/Cavalier/Berserker and one Celestial trinket..all in all i had 2603 armor..3k Power..41% crit chance and 65% crit dmg..Anyway don’t pay much attention to my armor.

What i wanted to say is that,the build is very powerfull….there is literaly no time for the enemy to react as Air attunement is constantly up…the amount o fburst is insane compared to D/D..it really pales in comparison.I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets nerfed..

Also i would like to ask..has anyone noticed that when you switch to Air..the lightning bolt may fall on 5 targets around you?…am i delusional?..truth be told i do not see it always proc on 5 people

Just wait for the right moment…Precursor prices tend to go up like yours and then go down again after some time(not much..1-2 weeks)..Price might even go lower…have patience..also..order..never BO

I don’t see why everyone is crying all the time…Supposed nerf after supposed nerf,i can still own pretty much anything in WvW unless the opponent is more skilled than i am.(I consider myself an average pvp player that can carry his own weight)..

Proffesion is fine,stop crying and they may just leave us alone as we are,or even better make some other builds viable for you so you can feel OP once again and shut the crying.

To the OP.D/D Bunker build is what a melee fire wizard can be..your 2 strongest(attack wise) skills are Churning Earth and Fire Grab..The last one is a fire burst dmg skill…if you time it correctly and postioned properly it does loads of dmg…so there you go..Now if you want a traditional Mage-Arch Wizard-Gandalf the Grey..go staff and run with a guild..see how Meteor destroyes whole legions of blobed enemies.

Imo Elementalist in GW2 is the best version of Wizard we have ever gotten from an MMO,versatile in every magic aspect.

After a long journey from the games launch i have finally reached a point where i have my Incinerator precursor,my clovers and most of the gifts.
What i do not have though are the 100 Destroyer Lodestones.Because i am extra lucky the Dust prices have shot through the roof and the cores i have seem a bit more useless every passing day.Ofc i am going to convert them to Lodestones but altogether do not pass the number 26.
So,my question is,how and where can i farm Destroyer Lodestones?
The only way i can think of, is running Sorrows Embrace nonstop but in Europe there are not many people that like that dungeon.

All you guys taking up places in WvW for chests please stop.
Most of you do not know what you are doing,don’t want to learn what to do and have absolutly no sense of what community is.All you root for is loot and then again more loot.

I really hope you realise that you are not going to make your legendary from WvW and stop queing for it.These boxes are something EXTRA that wasn’t there before.How can you be so demanding?

At least try to cooperate with the WvW communities that are fighting for their servers and for fun,NOT for loot.

Necrosis have been on the low of activity in WvW latetly due to the easter holiday slack not wearing off and summer in Greece making us go out and drink ouzo:))
Best we can manage is 10 people right now thugh things will pick up with the new match up system.

P.S. And yeah we WILL stick to the current commander in the map to provide his “zerg” a solid spine when we only got 10 people.

With the recent changes in D/D i was a bit let down but i love the dagger playstyle and because i am at 80% on making my Incinerator i am working around on a solution to adjust my playstyle to the lil(no irony here) bit nerfed dagger ele.

I am running with a WvW guild in Tier 3…now i know staff is the optimal choice in WvW but its so easy and boring.I always wanted to run with my team as a D/D ele.Up until the recent patch i have been running with 0/10/0/30/30.

I switched to 20 points on earth and made this build according to my Ascended gear as i am not in the mood to grind new ones.Tell me what you think

Do you guys crave so much for a path that is so hard only the most hardcore of hardcore players(and i am sure its you) can pull it off?

Well..i didn’t think so.All this threads and posts about CoF P1 getting nerfed just show how stuck up oppurtunistic loot craving jealous motherkitteners you all are.

It bothers you so much that people do not get you in P1 that you want it nerfed so other people cannot get their gold/loots/tokens.

Did you actually know that this path is so god kitten easy and enjoyable you can do it in 10min and maybe less with every god kitten class..All you need is to fix your spec and gear correctly.

Get your guild together and get in the dungeon and make money like everyone else.
Even if this gets nerfed from all of your complaints don’t you already know crafty players will find another way to make money as fast as now?

Very intense reset in Piken BL.RG and siN really wanted to kick each others kitten
Necrosis had some people online and we stood by FG to reinforce their commander.Was a relaxing night.The swap of reset time is very convinient for us in Greece.Now we can play a bit in the reset!

Necrosis had a very dull evening to say the least yesterday in Piken BL.We had a healthy crew so we broke down in 2 groups to upgrade both Hills and Bay.

Things picked up a pace at night when AR tried several times the break-out event.Some nice battles to be had and as our leader was saying,Good training!

After that all hell broke loose.It was amazing to be 12-14 people and go against armies 6-7 times our numbers.Ofc we were almost never alone.Exellent communication with OSC.I think we wiped huge numbers tonight!Some nice and simple and VERY effective tactics of hammer and anvil.

Also a small shout out to Nuke…at least BB has one guild that has the balls to move inside a battle and not run away.Also good to see you were running a bit seperatly from your friendlies blop.

We chose that bl to practice a bit and as far as i know as i’m posting this they’re still training. Pugs are easier to kill than a group of the same guild, though we found a lot of OSC there . And there were so kittening many people that i have no clue if it was only OSC, OSC + pugs, more guilds than OSC… all a kittening mess with the skill lag and the graphical lag.

OSC were mainly moving as a guild.Friendlies were in small numbers and usually from organised guidls that had their raids ended earlier.They had good numbers yetsterday and they move well as you may have noticed

Necrosis was like a hit and run squad often playing the part of a decoy to lure the larger numbers in a door or a tight spot.

What happened to the small scale Piken?

We still run in Guild warbands.Sometimes though when there is no commander on map, someone will have to badge up and gather the friendlies.

Also,i don’t know if its the lack of culling, but it seems as if you have got your numbers up a bit..If you are now between 25-30 people , well , not many Piken guilds manage to get these numbers in the field.

Some intense battles in Baruch Bay Borderlands tonight.
Necrosis do not have many people online but the 8-9 of us that were online stud by SPRT.

Also i would like to congratulate the Augury Rock guilds Tofu and Black Hope..We had a really nice skirmish in Victors Lodge in BB BL..Maybe the best i have seen from Augury Rock all these weeks of WvW

Will definitly miss the fight´s with you guys and many others. Shoutouts also to VII, GoW, HoB, Necr and many others. You gave us a perfect mix of fun and headaches, that´s what wvw is all about.

What i won´t miss and i am really sorry that i have to say that, is the behavior of many Augury players. If you guys win a fight by outnumbering the enemy or when you chase somebody with ten people, well that´s not such a big accomplishment. So dancing on corps and laughing only shows that you are jerks and bad sportsmen over all. I´am sorry if you have bad feelings, but if we wiped your zerg, hey please don´t take that personal, it´s just a game.

Even after the influx of new guilds and solo players Necrosis has yet to face a problem with ques ,exept some players that can only log in deep inside primetime.

Also know this,(though i am sure most of you already know it) if you disconnect or remain afk and get kicked out of the server you have around 20-30min priority in ques.
For example i went afk yesterday for 20minutes.Got loged out.I log back in and que for RS BL and i am in 2 minutes.So don’t give up if you DC!

Anyway,Necrosis had awesome fun yesterday in RS BL though we did not have many people online and we had a new captain for that nights leading.I hope that next week is going to be as exiting as this one was.

Good morning Tier3!

Necrosis had a blast yesterday in Eternal Battlegrounds!
We tried to mostly run as a warband but it was inevitable to join GG commanders in the defence of Durios and the , multiple times, reclaiming of Quentin.

Durios especially was beyond epic.Yes, we were outnumbered in that fight because both enemy servers tried to take it for a couple of hours straight yet we stood and we won.Epic times!

Also the fight in inner SM was very interesting with Necrosis and lots of friendlies doing some hit and hide tactics trying to lessen the Riveside numbers.I think we managed that to a great effect,though the waypoint timer might have saved you many supplies and soldiers.

All in all i am amazed by AR and RS tenacity ,trying over and over again.You seem determined.But AR…you like to grab the oppurtunity don’t you?

Its the beggining of something new.Right now everyone will zerg.But be patient..there will always be those that will think outside the box and find ways not only to counter the blop wars but also to effectivly extinguish them.

A blop can break in many more blops..and that is much more effective.I saw it a couple of times in this match up.Really epic battles!

Necrosis been running around Eternal BL last night and early in the morning.
We were a small team of 10 often providing a vanguard for the commanders in charge there.

Some awesome fights in SM..we always had our hands full,but the double teaming is getting a lil annoying..ofc this is war so i won’t complain any further.

Augury Rock,why were you guys doing rounds on SM outer wall?
You were just breaking a wall and then just started doing rounds and when your numbers died you just fell of the wall…share with us your tactic
