Hope you enjoyed your time in EB tonight DR XD. No new commanders or tranfers. The QQing just kitten us off a bit. Blame your forum warriors for lighting a fire under our bottoms.

I miss YB/CD. Much less whining about numbers and coverage with them. Just some good fights and general respect for one another. Lets not follow that pathetic route that the tier 1 thread has derailed in to.

There is no reason at all to complain about spawn camping as there are multiple exits at each spawn area for all three servers. If you continue to run into 20+ sitting at one of your exit points then you may want to rethink your strats, lol. If someone if spawn camping you, send out the breakout event or use a different exit. But please don’t get your kitten all riled up over a game.

We have all had our victory’s at towers/keeps and in open battlefield. We have all been wiped. Have been in 5-10 man parties for SBI where we have rolled much bigger DR parties and have been rolled by DR parties. Last night in EB was running with some Kiwi thieves. Was bout 5-8 of us running havoc all over the eastern side of EB.
Have not really seen much of IOJ until this week and they can hold their own and have done a much better job of holding their keep in EB then the previous week.

We on SBI always have small havoc/scout groups running in EB and on other maps. Contrary to popular belief we don’t have a huge lead in numbers over DR during NA prime time. It is generally equal and DR is able to field 20+ zergs on several maps and they do push us here and there in EB. During the week, we are hit and miss on numbers. Many times we have to leave EB entirely to deal with defending SBI BL from DR zergs cause we don’t have the coverage to deal with both. There are also times when we have can have 20+ on three different maps. Honeslty, I think most of us on SBI wish DR and IOJ would push us more. The push last Thursday was great as both IOJ and DR hit us hard at the same time during a two hour period. 2v1 happens and its totally fine. We freaked a bit and then started to push back. I would say we were outnumbered in our own BL for a good bit.

I think we might need a sprinkle of TC in this thread to lighten it up a bit. Miss you all on TC.

On SBI we have numbers now that we have not had in a long time. Commanders and guilds and many many names I have not seen in WvWvW are now popping up, prolly cause we are winning. Where were you all before? If we move up a tier hope you all stick around. We greatly need you to not be fare weather server mates.

This makes me appreciate guilds like Kiwi/KT and commanders like Rice, Sojoo, Bannock, Cicc, Jic (da midget) and all our havoc and pug groups for your efforts over the past month when we were getting stomped and at times getting our stomps in. Much respect for all of you. Winning feels nice but I kinda miss our struggle from the previous match ups.

Finally, all those new to WvWvW, remember, if not running havov or otherwise, to stay on your commander tags and not waste so much supply. 4 rams on a gate not upgraded just riles my kitten up. If you all were around for the beautiful struggle prior to this current tier, you would understand the importance of not wasting supply. Also, I am sure our commanders would appreciate some donations of siege or coinage. Feel free to tip em.

What was SBI doing last night? As in NA prime time up till midnight est? Hmm we were holding down our borderlands, had our side of EB, while pushing SM a bit and we were running some havoc in CDBL. My kitten is confused.

Its ok. Troll looked hungry so I threw him some yak meat ;p. I feel for YB since they will be moving up a tier and they may suffer a bit for lack of numbers/coverage. Will miss fighting you all in SBI BL, but look forward to having our keep back in EB. Haven’t we given you enough ransom, in form of loot bags, in exchange for our keep? :/

Not sure what server Lebannen plays on but I don’t see this ever happening in team or map chat on SBI in wvwvw and I am on most nights. Characters are Siiigh or Gravypants and I have run with every commander on SBI and saying only one, Isolani, is competent is a complete farce. If you feel this way about SBI maybe you should jump ship like all the others. Coming on the forums and commenting as you did, does nothing for the server and really is just a selfish rant full of misconceptions. In the future if you have issue take it up on the SBI website or talk to the commanders.

Most of the commanders I run with, Being Bannock, Rice and Cicc understand on SBI that we need to keep it moving. We are fairly efficient and have vastly improved our communication and organization since all the rats jumped ship. We have a lot of up lvled kittens in WvW who need some training. Map chat has been fairly productive other me shouting out how we needed to grow some cojones and not let any server push us around our own BL. :p

Our biggest issue, other then lacking in numbers has been the lack of tower/keep defense. I think the few of us that focus on placing siege got our point across yesterday, as we had pretty much everything upgraded and sieged up in our BL for the night crew and it was a lot smoother. Having waypoints in Bay and Hills are key as we constantly had to brush off the breakout event from CD/YB. Seeing a steady improvement.

After this week SBI will drop down and E Bay will probably move up to replace us, if rankings stay as they are. Not sure how we measure up to IOJ or D Rest. Will be interesting to see if Maguuma falls back down to this Tier and if Yaks moves up or maybe even CD.

I have repeatedly seen what Too Frisky has stated but its honestly not worth getting upset over. Its the interwebs and if some pixels dancing or jumping over your dead pixels bothers you then its time to kitten up. What I find more of an annoyance is when you are pushing back the enemy and they run to that oh so fun invul spot. Seen YB and CD do this consistently even with the huge lead they have in numbers and pts. How bout we stop this and just have some honorable fights.

Sojoo, we are outmanned ALWAYS, except for our own borderlands. But, it was fun in EB last night with Rice repeatedly wiping YB. Love running with dem Kiwi’s. Did we fight off that huge Zerg from YB late last night at our keep? Got crazy before I had to leave :o.

It is? Mine was to a warrior who had frenzy up and I had 3400 attack and 114 crit dmg. Traited with 20% more dmg to targets below 50% hp.

I enjoy ganking former SBI members now on SOR, more specifically repeatedly wiping UL and MORD on SBI BL in our garrison last night. I want to TY you all for sacrificing you’re kittens for our happiness XD. Still lots of pride on SBI.

That 5.8k dmg for a backstab if they were crits is nothing to kitten about. ;p

EB was an absolute blast last night, during 9pm-Midnight east coast time. SBI and TC were pushing back and forth for ogre’s for over an hour, maybe two hours? Then SoR showed up and we had some 3 way fun, that didn’t involve zerging or culling. Props to all sides here.

I concur with Mjolniir.2541 about zergs, more so against SBI. QL would be the prime example last night. With fewer numbers we repeatedly turned away SoR till it finally fell. I will say, SoR you were persistent. Thought we could hold QL but the constant 30+ zerg wore us down. If anything we on SBI are learning to combat far superior numbers and still having fun. No worries about points is kinda of freeing and this week has been very enjoyable on EB. Keep up the good fight SBI

Gotta say I am proud of those I see constantly from SBI in EB. Our little bunch has consistently handled Choo from SoR, while being out-manned. I do understand that some are on break and that you are working on building relationships with the SBI ship jumpers but during the NA pm we are standing strong. Also, it may be time to give up on trying to siege QL hiding in the valley that splits the tower, as you are getting you’re kittens handed to you by about five SBI raining down some AOE hugs. Seen you all try it 2-3 times and your best strat might be to just stick to zerging.

Another week of this kitten ton of fun and we will see if you all make it to tier 1. Most likely you will, but will see if SBI and TC can’t work out a little sumthang, sumthang this next week. Remember that the influx of guilds you received from SBI are only wanting one thing, to battle SOS/JQ. They are a fickle bunch, things go south and they get restless. It only took about two weeks of being out of Tier 1 for them to leave SBI. No pressure, as I am sure they would stay with you till the end, such a loyal bunch. ;p

At this point for SBI, I look forward to targeting and picking off those that bandwagoned to SoR from SBI for a week. Score is of no concern put certain guild Tags have big targets on them. Funny watching us getting pushed into our spawn in EB and then just waiting and picking certain people off. Highlight of the night was seeing one former SBI guardian run after me and get pawned by a legendary ;p. Its the little victory’s. Keep strong SBI.

You in fact should never use your elites…… EVER!!!! Let alone spam them. The great thing about the thief class are the many elites or builds you have at your disposal. If I want to pop thief’s guild against a stealth thief at the start of the fight I have can him randomly targeting them while I use blinds, evades and spamming cluster bomb. Effective way to deal with a stealth thief as it cripples and has big dmg potential.

Spin to Win is great for finishing off zergs with signet of malice if you coordinate with others thief’s to pop at the same time.

If you are going for a d/d burst build I would suggest not to worry so much about precision and focus more on power + crit dmg. I say this because with the 100% crit. chance while in stealth trait you will backstab like a truck. Guaranteed crit. on BS > crit. chance. Berserker gear for some precision and scholar runes for the power and crit dmg + 10% more dmg while above 90% hp does ceeerazy dmg.

Traits should be 25/30/x/x/x as mentioned above. Deadly arts should be mug, dagger training and exposed weakness. Critical strikes should be signets of power, side strike and hidden killer. If you decided to go with trickery for your last 15 you will mostly always have 10% added dmg to this build due to first strikes. Pure glass cannon build that will hit people so hard their interwebs will disconnect and then you will die shortly after XD.

I, like Adaneshade prefer a more condition/tanky build thief for wvw/spvp but I switch back and forth.
