DR? lol. DR does nothing but complain about numbers and zerging. Don’t think anyone on SBI has done that in this thread. I am sure AR is feeling great about how they have performed this week, but worry about your own server man. For the most part you guys are playing it REALLY safe. Staying behind towers and AC’s. You know you are not in the points battle, so like go fight.

We were massively out manned against DB and we were in the open field ALL night during NA prime time and learned A LOT. You are a commander, make this a learning experience and push your server against larger numbers. Nothing to gain or keep but kittening points when you stay in your towers. Or you just can just post on the forums about how great AR is and how happy your for them and continue to sit and watch the game from the sidelines.

SBI is a pve server, thought that was obvious. Seems some AR posters are turning into Ebay posters. Kittening and all, like some of you stated you hate about Ebay.

SBI cares too much about our BL’s? Um yeah…..lol. We generally run Karma trains in our own BL’s then run to EB. Just lulz.

Just did Tequila the Taco Dragon and it made me miss AR and IOJ just a little bit. This new pve mode that ANET has instituted makes my kitten angry. KITTEN!!!!

IOJ is holding their own with the help of big brother. I have not seen much of anything from them in EB or elsewhere. SBI was busy getting double teamed all day Sunday, with 40+ AR on our map all day. We even had the outmanned buff flicking on and off for a period time. This allows IOJ to not have to worry at all about their BL’s. I personally love it. AR needs a double team to keep up with us and we have comparable WvW populations.

BTW points battle, not that it really matters, IS already decided. If it continues to go as it is this afternoon, for the rest of the week, SBI will stay close to 300 for majority of the day and hold our own against the double team all night in our BL. Loving our SEA peeps!!

Well LX + pugs with Cicc commanding has decided to defend SBI BL today and AR has lots of numbers but not seeing much outta AR. Any open field engagements you are losing pretty badly with more numbers. Not sure what was going on in our BL yesterday but a different story over the past 3 hours. Hope you are having fun AR.

As far as this match up, I thought SBI would stop showing up after seeing the numbers/coverage advantage we were up against, but surprising we had EB qued every night. Bannok + DC + pugs did great in EB, even dominated at times. Its by far the strength of our server. Our BL’s defense is a ….. work in progress, and that’s being nice. But overall a good showing for SBI and lots to learn from.

I got dizzy watching the warrior run around in circles and even think he/she executed an impressive figure eight move. Pro use of the 1 key. BTW Agg is very aggressive in their movements, could have used it to your advantage PYRO. Would like to see DARP vs Agg plz!!

We had a pretty good time in EB last night too. Here’s a pic of one of the epic Rogue’s Quarry battles we won. The DB zerg reminds me of that team the Harlem Globetrotters plays every night

Was having good times with the back and forth but then DB pulled a DB move and brought 50+ to try and spawn camp us, which was lulz. The first try ended up with a good amount of you getting you’re kittens narfed by the legendaries and the next 4 times you tried ended up with us repeatedly wiping you back into your little tower. Our Pug hand is strong on SBI.

At least you didn’t put up 10+ pieces of siege to spam camp like you did in EB, though seeing what happened in DB BL, I get why you thought they were needed :P. Appreciate the great back and forth we had at hills bridge with our 10-15 for the extended period of time but could do without the spawn camping.

Reset again and now they have a tier 7 server versus tier 3/4 servers, lulz!!! Time to make a sacrifice to the RNG gods. Spill all asurian blood in hopes for a balanced match up.

I would guess that what Curuglas said is pretty accurate. Devon made the announcement about 2 hours ago, so EU might not see the new system but rather NA may be the test dummy this week.

LOL. Report from EU side is that they are all in same tier match ups. Not sure if NA will see the same or if the tweaking Devon mentioned happened in time for us to get the new randomized setup and not EU.

Underwater maps? Who in their right mind would want to battle for any amount of time with the underwater mechanics of this game.? I would love for some map randomization. BL’s maps need to be completely different and alternated weekly for some diversity.

Yup, Devon just stated that they will be implementing it today but we will not know who is in the new match ups beforehand. Makes reset a bit more interesting. Would love to get SBI/Ebay/CD.

Pick it up CD/SoS, we at 210 points atm but are about 6 points behind EB. Would be great to get a fresh match up since the new system wont be in place this week. Show those1337 skills.

EB has been crazy for SBI since the latest patch. Who are you all people? Most of you newer walking loot bags should go to the border lands maps and learn a bit more about WvW/group dyanmics/movement etc, rather than mashing 1 in EB for hours upon hours and thinking you are doing something magical :P. Go run with Kiwi, or find Yulo, Friar or Werty and edgamacate yourselves PLEASE!!

I don’t WvW for drops/chest’s/gold, that’s what care bear land is for. I WvW for the kills/battles, the meta game. The chests are fine and a nice added bonus. Sounds like pver’s complaining about not being able to farm gold in WvW.

Lol at those freaking out about no siege in WvW. Using the word Catastrophic to describe anything in a game is a bit over dramatic. If THIS is catastrophic for you or anyone else you may need to re-evaluate your priorities in life.

Being siege capped made for some pretty epic open field battles last night in EB. 3-ways were had as SBI had a que for the first time that I can remember in over a week. Seems the chest rewards and small potential for rares/exotic/precursors has brought those pver’s back into wvw. Pretty sure we pvdoored, no siege to put down, almost every SoS tower, while taking SM and saving our Garrison twice against SoS golem rushes. Hope both CD and SoS enjoyed the show.

ANET can not win with most WvWers when it comes to ascended gear, as they dropped the ball horribly, early on when ascended gear was implemented for those who pve. The lack of insight or understanding the possible backlash from those in WvW is well ….. startling. Its seems that those that only WvW can’t and won’t let this go, which is justified.

You didn’t want to invalidate the ways pve players received their ascended pieces, when it took 6 months for ANET to get this far with ascended gear for wvw? That sentence alone is just …… kittenbull. Basically he is saying in GW2 pve >wvw and this is just what we should expect. IF you took the time to understand the WvW community you would get why fewer laurels and more badges would have been the better option. Badges are not, as some have stated so readily available for those who don’t wvw on the regular. Therefore if you wanted to validate our experience as those who just WvW and and farmed our badges for so many hours vs being SOOO worried about invalidating those who pve for ascended gear, you might have gotten this right.

Had some funs in SoS BL, once again running with Kiwi + pugs. At one point against a SoS zerg we had, what I would call a mock GvG battle just north of hero’s lodge, across the bridge. Both Zergs saw each other, stopped and applied blast finishers and charged in. We veiled twice and pretty much rolled over the SoS party. Many other battles around the map with both CD and SoS. Great open field fun. Good job Sojoo.

Well many people counter stealth by creating multiple threads on the forums QQing so hard about thieves stealth/dmg, that ANET takes care of it for them.

Constant movement against a thief, with well timed evades are key. Anticipate when they will CnD or Backstab and use blinds, block, evades or fear. Keeping a thief who is utilizing stealth out of stealth is well, game breaking. Also, being able to count to 3 or even 4 is extremely helpful. And pretty much what others have suggested.

Its how you win in Recruiting Wars 2 Xsorus. Overwhelm them with numbers and SoS have been recruiting pretty hard for some NA guilds. What was getting dreadful in tier 5 btw? I am seriously curious. BP is a steady 2nd place in that tier and SBI might be heading there soon.

Furthermore, why would you transfer 150+ players with the May 28th update coming? We don’t know what changes are incoming and moving that many people with a potentially big shift in scoring and weekly match ups seems pretty reckless.

Had just moved to EB after running some havoc in CD BL and thought we had our EB keep lost Yulo. Had respawned and a group of us pushed our way through bout 10-12 SoS scattered outside and headed to the lords room and saw a see of red. Had to be a good 40-50 sos in there capping the keep and then BOOM, loot bags everywhere. Lulz were had.

Forget about it being Siege Wars 2, its now Recruiting Wars 2. Bannok I think its time for Doommidget to put all the gold he has to use by getting us some transfers.

So sensitive about my AC comment? L O L. Anyways, most SBI guilds left during the free transfer countdown and went to JQ and SoR. Don’t believe any went to CD. And yes WM leaving pretty much started the exodus.

Would love some new competition during NA primetime, which is when CD tends to struggle. On that note, had funs times on CD borderlands last night with Kiwi, SBI guilds. Good to see Rice Republic back on the field.

If you are kitten and worried about points, don’t bother coming to SBI/tier 4. SoS is not stomping anyone on the battlefield. They pvd their points lead during early morning NA time. As Bannok has said, we do really well as a server in open field battles and tend to not enjoy sitting behind broken AC’s, trying to zoom them out to infinity and beyond!! Plenty of zergy battles in EB and many smaller scale battles in the BL’s. If you play during NA night time, we a have a good population but are greatly lacking during sea/oceanic times.

oh oh Pixiesh, just gave me a great idea → the more people you have grouped together within a certain area gives a speed debuff. Larger groups in Warfare are generally less mobile and would address the issue of a bigger zerg moving just as fast as a 5 man party. That and taking away WP’s would be great for game play. :p

On a more important note. Cd just received a big guild via transfer, for their NA time zone. Welcome KWBH. Large NA prime time Zerg, with EU coverage according to https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/wuvwuv/large-guild-looking-to-move/first

First, rotate map colors every week. Don’t base them off of score. Second, have borderland maps be completely different, based on the color. Green, Red, Blue BL’s are all completely different maps. Would help greatly in keeping WvW fresh.

The fun will really begin once/if JQ drops out of tier 1. Thats when all the rats jump ship.
