I love how some topics get closed while others saying something similar stay open. either way it will be nice to have a forum community manager that at least relays FB post like this one and twitch show, etc…
I don’t understand; why not use your site as often as you do Reddit, FB , etc…? I shouldn’t need to visit sites I don’t use, for info or updates before they show up on the forums. I am not saying not to use social media but this site should be first and foremost, number one in updates.
Arenanet should know that FB is not what it use to be, people have left it in droves to other social media sites. They limited themselves by only counting FB.
Now I know why people get upset at temporary content, I will be on Holiday starting the 9th. I hope this one last longer then the 2 weeks I will be gone. If not c’est la vie
After you defeat the last bosses is there a cut scene? , if so maybe someone or Anet should upload it for those of us who cant finish it. Just so we see the story atleast.
I tried it; got to the end but my deteriorating twitch skills and color blindness did me in even with the wavy lines. So we could not finish and it was mostly my fault for dying so much.
I don’t understand why everything is not dyeable. Take another page from Paragon Studios; you already have weapon customization now go with Color tintable weapons.
I’ve bought gems for bank space, character slots, unlimited tools and some revive orbs.
If Anet/NCSoft added new armor skins (not Town clothes) or weapon skins, I would buy some of them. I have never bought or will buy a chest for a chance to get a skin.
I have been having a bit of problem with my new video card having conflicts with my integrated card I have disabled the integrated Display adapter thru device manager and I can log in.
alternately it may be your PSU failing to deliver, if you think it could be the gel or the fan a good way to try and test is to leave the case off while you run it see how that goes also make sure you hold your hand over the CPU fan + GFX card fan, see if there pushing out warm or cold air (same with the PSU fan).
is it only in GW2 the PC overheats or is it at anytime?
right now with just chrome core is between 110-120F, with warm air
I loaded GW2 at the lowest settings and it shot up to 140F in about 3 min
Thanks for the advice, The pc is clean, the fan is working but spinning very fast. maybe the thermal gel needs to be reapplied and a better cooling system installed if the CPU is still good enough to keep up with this game
Hardware is not my thing, So I am asking for help. My PC is overheating by alot so I will be taking it somewhere to get it looked at, What am I am asking for help here is if I should upgrade my CPU while I am at at ?
When I got this PC I was told TheAMD Phenom II x6 1035t 2.6ghz was good for GW2.
Paragon Studios had a good solution to this, if you finished the achievement (badge) you kept it, after the event was done the ticker if incomplete was hidden.
I just took a while to figure out to get my perfection achievement.
You use #1 to scan, and it will tell you what kind of trap each is. Use the corresponding skill to “arm” the trap to attack Canach instead of you. When a bomb is armed, it will be green. When Canach explodes all of the bombs in the room, they will respawn. Do not attempt to arm them until they stop glowing yellow and start glowing red. When they’re red, it means they can be armed. Yellow will allow you to arm them, but they will instantly go back to being red after a few seconds, often causing you to get hit instead.
After I realized that they were color-coded (color blind, here), it made getting the achievement a lot easier.
You can’t take screenshots in first-person view unless you back your character into an object, and even then you’re often stuck with a shaded view of your character on your screen. It used to be possible to take first-person screenshots during one of the betas, but for some reason they disabled that ability.
use /sleep is the only way around this issue I have found.
Just remember what NCsoft did to CoH pulling the entire game in mid of working on an expansion and a few days away from releasing the next issue…. I don’t trust them.
Really more town clothes ? Bah We need more Items we can use out in the game world; I guess they are making money out off of town clothes and novelty items since this is what we see added most often.
Trying to remember what led me to make a female charr. I don’t think I originally planned to make a female charr. I remember seeing one necromancer with CoF armor outside AC, and thought it looked awesome. So I created a female charr necro of my own (one of the aformentioned white tiger ones on Tarnished Coast)….
