Check your tast manager to see if it’s running. If it is close it in task manger or reboot.
also having this issue, tsk mngr has it running.
I know that’s not what the question is about, but the workaround is as always http://www.gw2db.com/items :
- Seach the item you want to preview
- Copy the “Chat link” into the chat
- Say it, preferably not in “map” mode
- Right-click it and select preview
Thanks for this “workaround” but it should have been added at the start.
Adding my voice to this ; please add an option to hide dailies , monthlies , (yearlies, decadeies etc….
Is there a way to atleast hide the dailies ?
Quote from the Wiki:
’At the base of the tree is the decoy, first treasure chest.
DO NOT OPEN THIS CHEST, it is a decoy. If you open this chest you won’t be able to open the larger chest.’
Thanks
rezing this thread:
just tried it same thing happen to me.
Same here never had an issue thru beta until this morning.
I know Ronah, but you still have to switch back and forth from each tab.
Tomlin I agree and having to log off just to clear that from your screen is not a great option.
clear chat would be much simpler.
Im the kind of person that likes to help people asking stuff on /map and my one and only guild is real “chatty” at times so switching back and fourth while playing is not great. City of Heroes had an option where you could remove one of the chat tabs and make it, its own window guess I got use to it.
I dont know if this has been discussed (could not find it in search) but a clear chat option would be nice. Also maybe a second chat window so you can see what your guild is chatting while keeping an eye on map?
I actually was trying to figure out what dagger (and pistol) the thiefs guild use. I like them.
Yes, even with the head start; my highest just hit 70 today. Enjoying every minute of it.
I never expect this game to have the “gear” customization of a game like CoH, but this knife holster servers no purpose, It would be nice to have a version of the marksman Jerkin with out it .
Guild Wars 2 is not Guild Wars 1
and boy am I glad.
If you want to know more about the charr, I recommend reading:

And even going through the charr areas and listening to random NPC’s talk and listen to/read dialogue
Thanks for posting the links! I have learned a lot from reading post by you and AuldWolf but the links are greatly appreciated.
Ash Legion thief
Sivarson Greyfur.
I loved the Kilrathi’s war Goddess Sivar in Wing Commander so I had to honor that race with the Charr. Greyfur because I have a fluffy cat at home with grey and white fur. The character creator allowed me to make a cat close to what he looks like too.
Heh, nice name
I had no idea atheism accepted the belief in magic, ghosts, spirits, and other supernatural phenomena.
first “Magic” is real in this game world, and second the rest of your comment has nothing to do with atheism.
AuldWolf.7598 explanation, is a great answer.
Kaine.3501 I would like to invite you to our godless guild (secular and atheist friendly) if you play on Gate of Madness

Wiser With Age said it better then I could
The Charr thought that they had their own set of gods, but these ended up being just extremely powerful mortal constructs. Who is to say that the Human gods aren’t the same way?
They’re not atheists. They do acknowledge that there are gods, but they just refuse to accept that they need to depend or rely on the gods. They turned to believing in themselves, and thus their industry and technology were born.
I have to disagree, they acknowledge beings that might be more powerful then them but not as “gods” . Just something worth a fight not worship.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Six_Human_Gods
As an atheist myself I have to say that is very similar to what I believe; if there are higher beings it does not automatically make them/him/her/it a “god” and worthy of worship.
