Awesome fight in Garri for a good 2 hours on Millers BL. Loved it! Was Commanding for a good 4 hours on the map and you guys provided a whole lot of fun!

Hello Desolation/Abbadon/ Gandara Community

We, EXG, would like to first and foremost apologize on the actions of the “ramming BORD corpse and T-bagging” Unfortunately this has gone a little way too out of hand in regards on our GvG.

If unfortunate events wouldn’t have happened we would have accepted our defeat in an instant. However, as we felt betrayed, we decided not to, and some people expressed their disappointment of mentioned happenings in smallscale roaming.

As we had numerous direct evidence and many times have warned BORD Guild commander to keep it real during the GVG, unfortunately these warnings were ignored. It was not a 10v10 – it was a 10+ Bord vs 10 EXG. Taunting us after an unjustified win (specifically your Guardian mate) wasn’t much of a colleague-feeling either.

In regards to our Ele and Thief resetting fights: To be frank, it’s very controversial and you can watch our video link for further discussion. In their defense: Their type of class and traits are to get in and get out maximizing their CCs and escaping with minimal damage. If you don’t agree with their mechanics perhaps you can petition against the GVG community or go to the Official Profession thread and request a nerf.
Resetting a fight is if someone gets out of combat to re-engae. None of our guys did that.

So anyways, why make this post? The leaders of EXG thinks that it’s only fair for our GVG squad (and yours) that we would do a rematch. This time both parties will bring extra members to regulate on the sideline and party with each other if information needs to be given that can potentially sabotage the match.

We just wanted to have fun and do some good GVGs. It’s unfortunate that it has come down to this.

Thats what happens when the glory boys move to a Gold Tier server. Feel bad for the regular guys that stayed on those servers for a long time. Thank those guilds that recently moved to your server to party crash.

Nothing wrong here in Deso. Sure, we got some new PvE guys, but the regulars are still able to play.

Thanks for bringing this out and involving the community into this guys, pretty much all we ever wanted. Lets build this addition together and wield out any potential treats to the system. I have several questions as of right now, hopefully you have the time to answer them.

Q1: How does the overflow work? Is it possible to fight against other servers? Is it combined with EU and NA or just one specific region?

Q2: Will there be any advantages to get on the map? Such as a King of the hill thing that grants buffs, or will it be one giant pit to fight on at equal grounds?

Q3: Will GvGs be supported on this map without interference of staff members and QQing from others?

Q4: Would ArenaNet have any plans on supporting the GvG scene in general after the release of the map? Such as supporting Teams, building features for competing GvG Teams?

Q5: Can you enter the map from the good ’ol WvW UI Panel? Will there be portals for it in major cities / Border Waypoints too?

Q6: Can you place siege on the map? Or is it limited to player skills and teams only?

Q7: Will there be new specialized Commander Tags? Or the option of using a tag for your party / guild only?

Q8: What will the max players be on a map from one server?

Q9: Where do you base the applications on from joining the BETA? Are anyone able to join or those heavily invested into WvW / GvGing? How many players from each guild are able to join up?

Q10: Will there be open space areas with plenty of room to muster GvG (i.e. like the south camp on a borderland)?

Q11: What do you view under ‘We want the best WvW experience’? What is the goal of WvW and what would be the best WvW experience with the addition of this map?

Q12: Is there a certain respawn area like a border waypoint of the likes, so teams are able to regroup / gather? Or is it one giant pit with random respawn?

EXG had a great match-up this week. Amazing fights, awesome GvGs, great roaming and insane large scale fights. A bit from everything you could say. We learned a lot and taking the experience gained back to the lab for future GvGs.

Sadly, some guys couldn’t keep it real, but hey – youre not only letting yourself down, your also letting your guild down. Keep it fair, keep it real guys.

Thanks Gandara for the great fights! Mad respect to Underworld for keeping up. We from Deso know like no other how hard it is to deal with low coverage. You guys kept going and therefore in my opinion winners! Keep it up!

deso tanked to get into silver they have more than enough to push for top spot,watch em all come outa the woodwork once the league starts.

Actually Desolation and Underworld did send out the majority of their WvW Guilds to other servers so they don’t move up or stay in Gold League. Simply not to raise suspicion. Those tricky kittens. I’ll tell you all guilds will return to their home server on thursday. Rumours say even IRON will go back to Desolation.

I’d be surprised if IRON came back, they burned many bridges as it is.
Yes we’ve overtaken Gandara overnight, but Gandara also has a big PVE population waiting for the leagues to start, I doubt they’ll be many transfers in for us as compared to everyone else who is not 1800 gems like us.

Yes, the irony heh? Its a master plan. PVE population is the key.

- dropping in ranks as fast as Ins Paintrain
- PVE players stocking up on gold for massive transfers
- the sudden uprising this matchup

It all fits together like a puzzle. Man, big things are going down! IRON used NA just for training purposes. You gotta do what you gotta do for those big prizes in Silver League.

Where did you get this info from? Anyway, its out now.. And yes, its true. From Tonight onwards, a lot of Guilds, including our old guilds from Desolation will be returning, rebuilding the server in the process.

On Baruch against Elona we had several DDOS atacks also when they where attacking our t3, it’s frustrating…

I don’t understand why people doesn’t play fair… this is a game and it’s for fun, guys!

Anyways i don’t think this can be a DDOS, i have the Deso ts (used it to kill tequalt) and yesterday night i was trying to enter to see if people up for tequalt and the ts was down, maybe is for too much people connected and it looks like a DDOS attack.

I don’t know, but i hope you solve this issue asap.

Our host decided to pull the plug, as it was too much. 20GB/s worth of data targetted on the host is something no internet connection can handle. So in order to ensure other clients with the webhost can resume, they took ours down for the meantime.

Steps have been taken to higher instances whereas the police is currently involved in the case. Things will be over soon

Nope, they managed to screw over WvW once again!

Early GvGs got invented by open field battles. It was often outnumbered forces. We fought for the the thrill and expanding out guilds limits. Later, this got improved by an organised and structured system where guilds would set certain rules.

Doesn’t matter which MMO you play, GvG need certain rules to measure who truly is king and ballers in the scene. Don’t start this whole argument now, as it’s pointless Grok. You and I both know what GvG is all about.

Plenty of guilds have been heavily invested into that aspect of WvW with love. Fighting on equal terms showing who truly is the best. Then again, I’m sure a lot of ballers wouldn’t bounce back for outnumbered fights, as it keeps expanding one’s capabilities.

You honestly believe they will add a map after everything? Carver himself said he couldn’t care about GvG. He nailed the kitten down with the orbs and I honestly have no faith in him coming up to rally the community.
