To stick with the thread, my opinion :

Mesmers are still very strong. They have no problem (maybe lack condi removal), the problem is the meta. They just don’t fit in, as many other classes/builds.

I hope the AoE reduction system works also on pets, or maybe they’ll be forced to play Norn so we can see the players.

When you begin to see 5 rangers teams, you SHOULD think there is a problem with the meta. Just sayin’ …

PAX tournament is gonna be awesome to watch, really funny to see all these rangers jumping around. Hope people will like it.

Yep, actually if someone fails the first matches, it feels like you fight on a sinking boat. Lose approximately 15-30 places every hour without playing, win 10-25 per min and lose 40-50 per lose.
Not to mention the fact that sometimes (often ?) victory or lose is a bit independent from your wish.

But I guess it’s gonna be better in few days when it all stabilize.

nah , would not say thakittens easy agreed but if you know how to fight a spiritranger, and the other player is not good , and you are , you still win.

but i agree with you, there are to many passive buffs / actions that do too much dmg ( or mitigrate damage ).

I’m sorry, but as Ele or Engi, there is absolutely no way to win 1v1 against spirit ranger, even if he’s really bad, with a tournament build (you have to think that spirit ranger is good at 1v1 AND usefull in teamfights, so don’t ask to create a build to kill spirit rangers wich is gonna be useless for teamfights)

I just said it, Ele. And I was the first to complain about OP bunker Eles, i’m not the kind of player that want his class to be OP, I only want a balanced game with non-faceroll specs.

I created a necro and a warrior to play soloQ because it’s kittening annoying to play with my Ele, so I know what i’m talking about. Should I create a spirit ranger too to say that it’s kittened ?

Bigest problem isn’t the classes listed, the problem is that they alsmot all relieve on a stupid spec “easy” to play or only spam. This game needs a higher skillcap.

+1 (even if stunlock warrior is the only possibility for a warrior to be playable atm)

Necromancer, Ranger, Ingineer, you pointed the problems of the meta :p +1 to this thread.

A system close to the LoL one (i need help, someone is missing, etc) could definitely be a good idea for soloQ

That makes 2 suggestion, + the already functionning dishonored buff it could definitely improve soloQ

I didn’t miss the part where he said “we’re listening your feedback on the necro” on the state of the game, but apparently until PAX we won’t have any meta change, even if majority of players in pvp are complaining about the current meta.

And what about no change to the rating of players in a team with less than 5 members ? Seems legit imo

At least if they can’t fix the problem in a reasonable amount of time, they should instantly remove Foefire from the rotation. But apparently they’re not very serious with this game.

Well 5v1 you don’t even need to fight, just to cap points behind the only opponent ^^

I didn’t mention the fact that after failing the first matches for leaderboard placement, i keep losing more ranks while not playing (no lose no win) than i win when i play, so i’m stuck in their kitten leaderboard

Anet wants this game to be e-sport ? Good, keep lowering the skillcap it’s definitely the way you get more people and no problem if the game has no interest anymore.

Once you used some distorsion or mist form, damages will no longer interrupt you.
Btw, being able to mist form/distorsion while channeling is not intended, because you can’t start channeling with that.

Yep, once you used a distortion damages don’t interrupt you. But maybe someone gonna say it’s intended …

We don’t care of the rush lord, this use of the portal is normal (you use it to teleport people)

Channeling + portal shouldn’t be there, same for timewarp + channeling.

This IS a bug, or if it’s not then Anet designers just suck

Temple is still full of bugs that need to be fixed ASAP :

Portal + channeling
Invulnerability while channeling not canceling (not intented because we can’t start channel while invul)

I don’t understand how they can just put it in the paid rotation while there are still tons of bugs (and these bugs are here since sooo long)

You’re here because the title was intriguing ? Good, that’s what I expected :P ! Just have to contexctualize a bit :

I am studying in an Engineering school in France. I love MMOs, theorycrafting and PvP competition. I have a good experience of high level PvP on some another MMOs, but it doesn’t matter here. All the week (from monday to friday afternoon), i’m at school, with lot’s of work and a really bad connection. I am actually playing with the guild [MiaM] (french guild), but the majority of them plays the week and less the week-end.
Since few weeks, I was looking for a tPvP team with players in my case. It seems to be utopian to find a whole team like that.

So, what am I doing here ? I’m creating this post to find players in my case : able to play a big time in week-end and hollidays, and not needing a team the week. I’ll try to create a full team with this type of player.

What’s exactly the project :
- The final objective is to have a fixed team (5 or 6 people) with the same disponibilities than me.
- Being VERY COMPETITIVE : not playing from monday to friday afternoon doesn’t prevent us from being in the TOP.

So, what’s required ?
- Hours of play : Friday and Saturday night (20pm to 1-3am) / Saturday and Sunday afternoon / the whole hollidays
- Age : 18+ (need to play with mature people)
- Personnal skill : you have to master 1 class, and be able to play a second
- Oral skill : Comprehensible english, a microphone, mumble/ts/etc
- Capacity to receive criticism and to be constructive
- Competitive attitude (theorycrafting, watching streams, videos related to sPvP, etc)

Who am I ?
I’m a French player, studying in a engineering school (19 years old). Passionate of MMOs and PvP competition, i’m making lot’s of tournament on my week-ends (I can’t play the week, too much work ^^) with the guild [MiaM]. My main class is the Thief, wich I play with some differents builds, but actually I’m in love with a tanky/condition build.
