What do you have against RNG? Anet said than in few years with new system, tiers will be stabilized. Until then, well just be unhappy with game but dont stop playing because one day, one day it will come. /sarcasm

I dont want to be mean on AS, we fight them few weeks. And they are good opponents.
But they have one big problem. After weekend their numbers are about 1/3 of what they have on weekend.

Look at EU match on Ring of Fire server. We won previous matchup with Arborstoone and Whiteside Ridge. Arborstone were supposed to go down a tier.
But: Ring of Fire went down even that we won. And Arborstone went up even that they loose.
How can you stabilize anything with random + and – ? Look at Gandara. I know everybody want to see new opponents, but they should fight Riverside not Arborstone.
And yes I feel for you on GH. You are stomped this week because of unlucky rng. Not by your playstyle or strength.

I dont want to be pessimistic. But I think if Anet wont change this system, we will be fighting for a couple of weeks. Because of unlucky RNG.
But for me this matchup means that i could lvl alt in WvW.

I leveled 3 toons to 80 in WvW
1) get AoE – shortbow, caltrops,traps
2)stay in the middle of zerg, you will die often, but if your side wins,they will ress you
3)your job is to tag as many enemies as you can so you will have xp from them. Also always try to be in capturing circle to get XP from capturing
4cluster bomb- dont let it detonate on groud, do it manually, instead of 1 blast, it will make 3 blasts. because of aoe limit you will tag 3x more enemies than detonation on ground
4) throw poison field not on enemy, but on your front lines
5)forget about buying gear, just repair what you have, equip from loot and save badges to lvl 80
6) learn when and where have guilds on your server their events and join them- guaranteed fights
7) learn about your server and those playing againts, if you have all on EB, go enemy keeps, build cannons and shoot the zerg trying to get back their keep, you ALWAYS need to choose siege instead of fight with your weapons

enjoy quick trip to lvl 80 and some wxp levels.Actually i am leveling engineer, and in about hours i gained 3 lvls. 70-73 just by standing on cannon at enemy Valley and shooting to zerg trying to get inside, and these bigger lvl dont go as easy as lower ones.

For a very long time I am waiting for better commander system they promised.
Then I hope for larger groups, than 5.
But at least I can use Oil and reflect projectiles.

AS great fight yesterday on your BL at Greenvale. Sad your folks attacked our Gari and we needed to go help them. Otherwise you wont get that camp.

Only possible answer to this is: where and who?

We tried to have drunken late night crew too. But they were drunk too much and were unable to login.
So this option is not able for us.

I agree. RoF has good WvW population during day in EU. Everyday we can see that during the night,we loose much, but towards enemy hordes, we manage to get everything back and we should be able to do more, but there is no point do defend towers in enemy teritory because of low night population.
If any NA guild want to trasnfer to good EU server, and want to enjoy fights with good enemies, RoF is the best choice. Just look on RoF weekly discussions. Look on MoS, we fight and manage to get higher. But very small night crew forces us to go down again.

By gods yes… give us a decent grouping system that’s flexible for all players and guild styles. Allow guild only or private squad systems for coordinating multiple groups that don’t want to zerg and invite everyone on the map.

For last 6 updates I wrote into forum this question: will there be better grouping system? Party of 5 or invisible squad system is not enought.
But seems like 15 minute instanced PvE mission are important than grouping in MMO.

Only a wvw player is counting dolyaks when he cannot sleep.

If I remember correctly, some updates to commander were announced few months ago.

I think its only power ressing that is the problem. Just make ressing available only to one player and thats it.

I won 1st place. Got one green and one Karka shell. Then in next game I was fourth. Got 5 Karka Shells and 2 greens. Then again I was first got 1 Karka Shell,1 green and 1 junk. Third place gave me 5 Karka Shells and 1 green.

Is that correct? I thought that first place should be the best reward. So there is no point to fight for first.

Hey doc phil dont take it so serious. On RoF we can see every day Ros and DZ zerg moving on their side of map taking everything. And when they meet at godslore they dont fight,just wp out.
Dont forget it is 3-sided battle. So backstabbing while you are busy elswhere, or even joining some battle, is highly recommended. Ros do the same. DZ do the same.

And also yesterday, me and my team were taking camps on RoF bl, and there was DZ group doing the same on the other side of map. But there were some great fights when we meet on one camp.

Thx for those RoS players taking DZ gari yesterday evening. It was easy job to take DZ bay with no defenders.

@Swampy or you can be ingame at NA reset as you were for last 7 months(except last week) and you were not complaining

There are many time zone names in EU,
CET,CEST (GMT+1,GMT+2) – central europe time and Summer time
WET and WEST (GMT, GMT+1)- western europe time and western europe summer time
BST – brittish summer time
EET amd EEST (GMT+2, GMT+3)- eastern Europe, ahh you can figure

So 19:00 GMT is 20:00 in UK, 21:00 in Czech and so on. There is no EU county currently having GMT at summer.

Yes there is some possibility that instead of Dolayk there was some big cat thrown from a tower, but my FaPS includes this type of dead weight thrown from tower.

@ Bars I dont agree with your statement and sorry you feel this way, I play mainly wvw as do many others on RoF and we have some excellent commanders, guilds and players on here that have a lot of pride and guts, , if your unhappy just take a break but you defiantly have a different experience from me.

Actually Bars have right. 3/4 of RoF are PvE player that are going to WvW just do to JP. And if they fight, they dont know who, why follow.

But on the other hand, because of our low numbers, and i dont mean outmanned but most guilds have 5-10 members online at same time, we had to adapt and improve our skills against bigger groups. And thats why most WvW players on RoF are great. And most of the pug on RoF are, well something that is not good.

Really enjoyed last night.

Sleep is base human need. Its not your choice to sleep or not to sleep.

Some people dont go to work. They go to school, or are rich and dont work. Some people work at shifts. But each of this human need sleep. Its not choice to have comfort life, its basic need.

But on other had, will be better time than 5pm if reset will be 2am your time? EU and Oceanic players will agree with this change. And finally you wont need to quit job to play.

Actually I think that many EU players will be at reset. i saw it last week. I also was one of EU player sleeping on his keayboard, and left at 2am, few minutes before reset, because I could not hold my eyes open.

And because every EU player is vampire from Twillight, we dont need to sleep. Never. So we can work at day, then play GW2, they work again and repaet.

Anet I think great work. There are people angry that they need to eat dinned while playing. But they probably never tried playing while sleeping. Thats harder.
If you wll split EU and US servers, good option, but too late. You should it done from start. I cant imagine that nobod in your company thought about it.

Polismassa : i dont think so. Look parties are limited to 5 people.
In WvW we allied for events with other guild and we make 4 parties. And current commander system is the only way how to manage fights on map. Even if everybody is on TS, showing icon on map is the quickest way how to coordinate.

Commander should have possibility to manage his squad, see people, invite people,kick people.

If this tag will be buyable by influence it will probably be time limited. Something like 10k influence or tag for 24 hours.And it is just to much for smaller guilds. We already have problem to gain influence to unlock guild missions.
Instead guilds should be able to make Warbands, just a party not limited and only for guild members. This way, guilds dont need commander because they have leaders already.

Please let it go.
Votes – maybe on top tier, but on low tiers there is no interest in WvW, or small, on whole server and voting a commander will ends with no commanders
Badges – too easy to get them and Commander is not a person tagging most of mobs, when a commander fights,he is doing something wrong or there were much bigger zerg of enemies

Please for sake of smaller guilds, for sake of lower tiers, dont change it.

Achivements- same, you got those numbers. Even filling them to Google docs will be better because you cannot filter it now anyway. How can i Find myself now? And other from my guild? What?
PvP – same problem like achivements,

Devs you disapoint me every month. You announce something and you release crap. Big PvE updates? Fail of Living story- 8 quests in 3 month. WvW update – remove culling introduce worse skill lags and some pointless WvW ranks.
And story repeats with Leaderboards. What were you thinking? It is useless when you cannot quickly choose your own profile. If You cannot filter it? You can not even sort it other way.

I think it will not be new gear, only they put some karma gear to be buyable in WvW by badges.

Really why do you think ANet will change their whole game mechanics based on how much kill you get? They planned this game as killfest. There are no reward for support.

Repair 75 banners is good quest. But press ctrl and run throught whole map looking fo 3x snow-covered object and then give then to some guy. Repeat on second map and you have finished achivement.

Come on, January BIG patch turned into joke. February BIG patch turned again into joke.
And March BIG WvW update.Two changes. Culling gone and World XP with new abilities.
I am glad for culling is gone, hopefully, but is that it?
Can this be called as big patch? I mean, only 2 changes? One is repair of engine and second is really small change?
Its like you will tune your car and whisper everybody that it will be mega ultra cool tuning. And that you will drive in and old car with nice new headlights, but rest will be still old rusty car. But hey, new headlights. Thats big. Thats cool. And it really changed your car.
Back to the GW2. Every big,major patch turned into joke. Living story, its something hyped, but actually its 3 simple quests. Thats it, you can do it in 5 minutes.
Every time they speak about living story they say it huge succes. Find 6 items on 2 maps and give them to some guys? Quests in starting area are harder than that.
Every major update from ANet is just bunch of really small things that change nothing.
Last big update was in November-FotM. But every month ANet say that next month there will be big update.

I was thinking about whole downed state function.
In downed you have 4 skills,2 attacks,1utility(mist,stealth,rally) and heal.
If somebody is attacking you, and you are using skill4 – healing, it will reset and you will need to wait CD to start it again.
This meanes in fight 1vs1, that enemy dont need to finish you, but he can just shoot you from away. And it is totally logic and ideal solution.

But if somebody is healing You, and he is shoot, his healing will not break,only his health will suffer.
It is completely not logic and making situations like ranger on wall shooting somebody in downed state, your friend will come and heal you faster than ranger can kill you. Ok bad example, but ele with staff fire 1 fireball which has aoe dmg will make dmg to both, you and your friend.

But if healing from your friend will have same functionalities like downed state 4 – heal, that would be logical.

Friend is ressing you, he is hit, breaks ressing, small CD like on downed skill (1 sec i suppose) and he will need to start ressing again – press F button again.

Why this change? AoE is limited to 5, in big battles you have good chance to not be hit. Still it would take longer to ress somebody, and a single necro on wall can disrupt your friend ressing and manage to kill person in downed state – you.

Remember how many times in WvW there was zerg at gate, you on wall with AC shooting down and was not able to kill sombody because they were succesfully ressed while you were shooting on them whole time.

This will change WvW into real fights where one soldier on bad place in bad time can make difference.
This will change WvW siege engines to something usefull because well placed single AC can defend tower attacked by 5 people. PvD will not be the option no more.

And of course, it will put ressing from both sides equal. Player in downed or the one ressing him.

Yes but you need to be on good server to have those events. If event is off, you have problem. Thats why i always choose other daily than killing vets in certain zones.

Only ones that i hate is killing vets in some areas.
