So if I dont want to have my utility skill moved, i just need to not be on cooldown and dont have equiped any kit?
Why mesmers skills on cooldown dont do this? If I have that stealth clone on utility 1 and utility 2 in water, it remembers where it is,and just move CD to correct skill.
Only engi have problems with this, at least what I know.
I will definitelly try this evening on mesmers,war,thief and ele.

Hi I started to paly engi and noticed something wierd.
Let say that I have my utility skills set as: FT,Grenades and Elixir C.
For underwater I got Grenades, Elixir C and PB Ram.
Everytime I go to water and out, my utility skills, grenades and elixir C, change place to be the same underwater.
But not in water I want game to remember exact order, because of keybinds and because what I am preferably using.
Is it normal or is it bug?

I got it right.
See, you wanna Merits, you can play T1 for low ammount of merits or directly T3 for full 25 Merits.
Small guilds will need help from bigger ones to do T3 so they can have 25 merits too.
But if they will find big guild,they dont need to go Tier 1, because thy will get those 25 Merits from one T3 bounty.

Commendations:
You need to assist on killing ONE single boss at bounty. Doesnt matter if T1 or T3. And doesnt matter if whole bounty succeded or failed. Just if you hit-tag one boss to get loot from him.
In this case, guild already done T3, players who were offline and want their reward from boos, will start T3 and get available 6 targets. All of them can go to only one boss, kill him,get loot and commendations and let Bounty fail.
Why T3? Because you will have 6 available targets, T1 got only 2. So T3 have bigger chance to find weaker boss than in T1.

Then only question is: will small guild manage to get help from big guild? If yes, T3 is the only reasonable way(25 merits from completing). If not they will do T1 or T2 for lower reward in Merits. but I think many small guild will make alliance swith big ones and do straight T3 bounty. Even if 4 small guilds work together (assume small 10 people) on weekly basis, they will go straight T3 because of waste time in T1 or T2 for no reward.

If rewards will be T1-5 Merits, T2 – 5 Merits, T3- 15 Merits (2,3,6 targets) and You will have Merits from running every Tier for first time, it will be reasonable to have 3 tiers. Because big guild will be forces to do T1 or T2 to have full 25 Merits(5+5+15). Right now it is 15+5+5 but you can go only T3 for full 25 Merits.
Increasing difficulty should increase reward, not just give full reward.

T1 is never useless. It might be useless for a Guild as a whole, but not for individual members, so if some guildies “miss” the big Tier3 guild event (that will give maximum Guild Merit for the week) some of the officers can organize smaller Tier1 Bounties so those guildies can get their Guild Commendations.

For commendations its better to start T3 than T1.
-You got commendations for killing boss not completing bounty.
-T1 and T3 cost the same
-You wont get any reward for completing T1 if guild completed T3 earlier
-T3 you can choose weakest boss from 6, in T1 only from 2, so T3 is easier in this way
-boss scales by number of players near, not by Tier

You then need only to start T3, kill one boss from 6 possible and just leave bounty expires. Everybody will have commendations, you got merits from previous bounty, and you dont miss anything by leaving bounty expired.

Again: why Tier 1 for small guilds if they are needed to ally with big guilds to get T3 Merits, and then doesnt matter if anybody was not online? He can get commendations on next expired T3 bounty just by killing one boss.

If you could get the maximum merits per week by running tier1 multiple times what’s the purpose of tier2 and tier3?

And whats the purpose of T1 and T2 now? If you cannot have full merits per week? Which everybody wants of course. So they only need to run T3 now.
Bigger guilds dont need T1 or T2, and small guilds are making mission aliances, and when they do, they dont need T1 and T2 too.
So T1 and T2 are useless. Even in that big guild missions forum everybody will write you: form alliance with big guild.

It should look like this:
First run of tier 1 gives 15 merits, every next run with tier1 will give 1merit.
You can do one tier3 or 16(16×200influence + speed up) runs of tier1.
First run of tier2 will give 20 merits, every next run 1 merit. You beed to do 6 runs to get the cap.

This is exactly what I am missing. And it will give 1 merit to a total number of 25.
So you can choose to run T1 many times, or one time T3 for full of 25 Merits a week.

I understand that there is limit of Merits by week. But limit is 25 not 15.
It should be able to do twice Tier 1 by week to achive those 25 Merits.
If small guild is not able to reach week limit by doing tier 1, they need to work with bigger group to do tier 3. And because Tier 3 is the only way how to achive 25 Merits, and you will instantly get 25 merits by doing T3, you dont need to go Tier 1.
We are talking about guild rewards, there dont need to be all members online to get guild reward.
And guildies get their own reward by killing only one boss. So even small guild can do Tier 3, not complete it, only to have bigger chance they tracked the right NPC before start of T3 mission.
They even cost the same. T1 or T3 cost 200influence.

To get personal reward, you dont need to complete mission,just to kill one NPC – better to run T3 for bigger chance of weaker NPC
To get full 25 guild reward aka Merits, small guild still need to ask for help bigger guilds, and that bigger guild preferably will do T3, because they dont need to go T1, they want full 25 Merits too.

Yes i know it, but there are many problems.
We are Czech and Slovak guild on Ring Of Fire and we are one of the last CZ/SK guild on RoF as almost everone transfered to AG.
So there is language barrier to succesfully cooperate with other guild. Also there is “chat” barrier, as guild cannot share chat, and parties are limited only to 5.
And yes while guilds can help themselves, it is the only point to do guild bounties through week. If your guild do Guild Bounty at sunday, you wont get any reward for completing guild bounty at monday or any other day until reset.
Maybe adding rewards for repeating mission would be fine. Something like one rare or higher drop. Because now it is better to just do World Bosses.

And yes, I am not in a guild which is doing notning. We are doing everything. WvW, dungeons, fractals, sPvP and now guild missions.
Sunday/tuesday WvW, monday,wednesday dung/fractals, thursday/friday sPvP. And now we wanted just to add guild missions to this rotate. But there is no point for us to do them. We are small, and be dependent on other bigger guild to actually do our guild mission for us, is not good for us. Yes we knew we cannot do T2 or T3, maybe T2 we can handle, hasnt test it yet. But we hoped that we can do enought T1 missions to get full merits from bounty.
Its like that from Puzzle you will have Merits counted as many guild members will join.
10 members do puzzle? 1 Merit for you. 100 members? full 20 Merits for you. And dont try to repeat because you wont have anything. And you can do puzzle only once a week, so make your whole guild join, if one member will be sick, you will have less merits.

There is no point doing guild missions more than one a week. That is not content which brings guilds together.
World bosses are better in bringing guilds together,because you actually get reward for doing then when ever you want. You can do them on monday and also on thursday and you will get reward.

On other topic I just read about Merits.
Are they crazy? Is there any sane person in Anet? How can You make 3 tiers of bounty, advertised that from T1 you get 15 Merits, T2 20 Merits and T3 25 Merits, and then if you do T1 and T2 you will have total of 20 Merits?
So if you need to do T3 anyway, why did you implemented T1 and T2? Why?Why?Why?
Small guild will never be able to do T3, maybe not even T2, so to get full Merits they hoped to do T1 repeatelly. But they cannot because they wont get anything.
Is this the way how to tighten guilds? Make them missions that are pointless to play more than 1 per week?

And thats even worse for small guild because they never be able to do T3. Killing 6 in 15 minutes when there is problem to kill 2 in 15 minutes?

Because, jesus, its fire and have you ever seen fire from flamethrower that did not set you on fire? Something like yeah, he was grilling me for 2 secs,but in last quarter second i managed to evade so i am not burning.
Do you know what avarage FT temperature is?

Is underwater combat for warrior somehow bugged?
Today on WSR we fight some warrior from WAR guild, we managed to down him for 4 or 5 times. But he just ressed by mobs there. But if I remember correctly, ressing from down will give you yellow penalty, second time you get red penalty and third time you are dead and not going to down.
So how he managed to ress from 4-5 times down? Only one time he rallied, i was looking on his buff bar.
When we got finally get him out of water, he was down almost instantly. Second time he was down too because there were no mobs he can ress at.
Is ressing through mobs not giving penalty?

And of course nice fights today. I loved that BT zerg comming to hills on our BL just to find we took it in that minute. And we wiped them.
Very good fights.
WSR – why cant you leave us greenbriar on your BL? And why you took 30 zerg onm our 10 man strike unit? You wiped us instantly.

FT got one of the best skills. Yeah its FT1.
Just imagine you are in the middle of zerg and all you can see are flames. Flames and even more flames.
Does anybody know how demoralizing it is? Weels from necro are good too, but its just red circle on ground and you can even not notice it.
But those flames?
Play startegic. Main zerg running towards another zerg. 2 FT on each side of enemy zerg. Flames everywhere. And also with FT3 enemies will just ne bouncing inside their own zerg. FT4 will make walls of fire around them and just add to enemy panic.
FT5 will help engies to live. And FT2 will add big damage to enemy zerg.
So hell yeah, 4 FT engies to every group. Even if they dont do the biggest dmg, inceasing panic of enemies will help more.

It is really not P2W.
Because to have ascended you need to do guild missions for more time.(bounty) or be succesfull in other types. (i can only do bounty, so i dont know when you get commendations in puzzle and other)

Of course you get 2 commendations if you kill “one of 2/3/6” depending on tier. But no, your guild has to kill 2 bounties for tier 1 to get the merits, that does not mean that you have to kill 2.

What? My english is not soo good, so I dont understand you.
For merits, you need kill both bounties in T1.
For Commendations in chest you need to kill only one of bounties.
Right?

We had 4 tries yesterday. In every try we managed to kill one bounty and start fight with second one.
In the middle of fight bounty expired. Many of our players received chest for killing only first bounty.
We have NOT received any merits yet, so half of mission means no mission completed. At least for me.

Yes you can join big guild but why? They just make minor part of game, advertised as for guilds even small, uncompletable, not unplayable, for those small guilds.
There is no restriction to start guild mission. But there is just hard limit for it, that smalle guilds cant do.
Yes you can even buy gems/gold to buy influence, so you can easily acces Bounty.
So you can play it, but you cannot finish it. And it is mostly not by fault of players.
Many guild managed to fight second boss, but failed due the limi limit. Hey event when bounty time limit is off, you can still fight and kill him after time limit.
So maybe just stop the mission clock if NPC is in fight. You will still have 6 minutes to beat him as it is his quest time limit.

Just look on situation Vendetta wrote. Warrior was very good, and took both enemies to downed. Now it should take max 5 seconds of direct attack to kill them. But mostly it takes 15 seconds to kill one.
In my scenario, warrior down both enemies. Kills one and is downed by second in ds. Because second one was attacking, he lost much from his health. So warrior can easily kill him even in ds, and get up after this kill. Because of lost health of enemy it took only 2 hits to finish him.
If the enemy was not attacking he could save his special ds abilities like stealth, teleport,rally to hold warrior until reinforcements arrive.
Warrior wont have full health,and have penalty for being down, so reinforcements will have easier job to take him down again.
Or what just happend to me yesterday – AC on wall, one player down before gate, i was still firing on that player to finish him. 2 enemies got there and ressed him. They were also on less them half health, but hey,they run and healed. If ds will be punished with lower hp pool, and more dmg from living players, then we will be punushed from running under AC firing on him. You cannot just live when 100 arrows are hitting you.

How to solve this? Downed state need to be shorter and players need do more dmg to downed players so that downed player under direct attack cant last more then 5 seconds. And it doesnt matter if he is attack by ranger or balista.

This is also nozerg solution to WvW. Now it is the best way in WvW to make big zerg,so downed players are quickly up again. In my solution, zerg wont be as effective because they will simply die under fire of siege weapons.

Time limit is good thing for bounty, but for T1 should be increased. Maybe 30 minutes will be too long for it. But what the hell? Its the very first mission you can get and you need to run it repeatelly to get merits to unlock other missions.
So increase time limit to 30 minutes,please.

Well with difficulty of champions.
Because they are champions and have many nasty skills, they are really tough for group of 5. Group of 10 can get them down pretty quickly because of AoE limit. Like that one in frostgorge is pulling 5 people to himself. Like Kholer in AC was.
If you are only 5, you have a problem, there is no light around boss to notice he will do this pull.
But with 10 people, 5 is downed and 5 can ress them. And he has only more vitality, not doing more damage. Pretty big damage of course. Even if there is only one guild members, champion can kill him with 2 blows.

Only issue with downed state is that it is taking too long to kill one in it.
You can burst somebody in 5 seconds to downed state. But then you need more time to actually kill him.
In WvW its funier because other player can get downed player up even if you are doing damage to both.
resurection should be out of combat only. Even from downed state.

Me and guildies (13 people) tried to run 4 tier 1 bounties.
But we were unable to do them. Time limit was so tight for us. With 13 people we managed to find them, but in the middle of fight with second champion, it just wrote Bounty has failed.
So guild decides Anet dont want us to do guild missions (you need bounty for Merits for unlock other missions) so we stop doing Guild Missions.
And now with fear we are looking for WvW March update. We hope there will be something like Commander icon only for guild 100+ members. Or WvW daily- get 100+ guildies to attack dolyak

Anet seriously need to look on guild missions.

Kasaeva just pass on guild missions. With 6 people you wont be able to finish even Bounty tier 1.
It is imposible short time to do it if you dont have 15+ guildies. So each one can find and stick to one NPC.

Timer is ok, but maybe when you start NPC fight, timer for whole mission wuold stop counting. You still have timer on NPC (6 minutes if i remember), so those 15 minutes will be just to find them. Killing them wont be in initial 15 minutes timer.
This way even smaller guilds will have chance to do it in time.

I wont argue with that. maybe our guild is not really focused to zerker.
We mainly play WvW so we are not full zerker ones, and even CoF path 1 took us more than 15 minutes.
Problem is that FIND them time. It tooks a lot, not killing them in fact.
Maybe guild bounty timer should not end, while you are in a middle of a fight with boss and there is in quest log that you have 6 minutes to kill him.
And also that teleport when this fail is bad. See 5 people can be wiped easily in first moments of fight, until you see what NPC does, and if he wipes you, he instatntly teleport away and you need to find him again.
So my question: have you REALLY tried to do it with only 10 people? I doubt it.
And yes advertising in map chat helps, but remeber you got only 15 minutes to do it, if you are not on high pop server- your bad, pay and transfer. And then build all influence again. With 10 members? Are you crazy? It took us 6 months to unlock all. Should we spend another 6 months?

NPCs are killable in 5 people? Yeah, sure but not in time limit. Some NPCs are really nasty, like that in Frostgorge, half ele half thief with Lt.Kholer pulls.
Or maybe Vet. Karka? While there are other vet karkas there? And when You kills karka 2 times, you need to kill champion NPC. Really not doable with only 5 people.

We tried to use guide at dulfy.net but no guide wont tell you exactly where NPC is. if you need to run on whole man trying to find NPc you will just loose much time.
As I said, we almost done it, fighting second NPC, maybe in half and Bounty failed.
Maybe advancing time to 20 minutes will be good. Smaller guild will have more time, bigger guid are not worried by time, because they can send people to find them before starting bounty.

We also need reward update from Anet.
I got my chest reward during the first bounty, after killing only one NPC. Others from my guild, they were whole time with me in party and they participated at same bosses, get chest after third NPC killed. Really wierd.
And of course, how ofter we can get chest reward? Every day? Once a week?
My guild can only do Guild Bounty Tier 1, because of we spend all our influence to make Bounty playable and we dont have many people to play higher tier.
So if we can get only one chest during a week, guild missions are not for us.
Because there is no point to play them. Event if we get all merits, we wont be able to unlock other guild missions in next 3 months.(Our income is about 5000 inf a week.) To get next we need 50k so its 10 weeks. Only if all guild members log every day for at least 1 hour. Best way to group together and do dungeon runs to maximalize influence income.

So we are small guild, about 13 of us managed to build Bounty T1.
So we run it, got 2 bosses, we are small, so in this moment we start running. We cannot cover all the bosses before we start the Bounty.
First boss managed to find, but dont know what will it be about, we were in small numbers(5-6 people) and managed to kill him in 10 minutes.
Second boss in Frostgorge, he was hard to find. Killing him wasnt easy too, and suddenly Bounty have failed. Ok, lets do it again, now we know what we need to do.
After another 3 tries, we were not able to do Guild Bounty.
All 3 tries we like this: find boss, kill boss, find another, bounty expires, killed boss in about 2 minutes after time limit.

Anet seriously, you are killing small guilds. We cannot guard every NPC in game before we start bounty. It was not intented to do it this way. Big guild just can find them before they run Bounty and with 30-40 players, they just wiped them.
But smaller guilds? Took 5 minutes to find one,then 10 minutes to kill him with 10-13 people,(karka boss took more because we need to kill vet carka before) and them another 5 minutes to find another NPC.
I know it is bounty, but cant you just say more about their location? Maybe marker in map apperes ony for 2 secs every minute? So “not big zerg” guilds have also change to complete it?

Now I am really affraid of March update. February Guild update just made new content unplayble for smaller guilds. What in March? Singles cannot join WvW?
Actualy my guild chooses not to participate in guild missions. Reward/cost is not good at it.
Waiting at least 12 hours to start one guild mission? Which we need to do in 15 minutes? Really?
And other missions have longer build queues

He is not threatened, but not happy that playing with friends can lock you out of new content of 5 quests. ie whole new content for PvE of big, announced as big, patch.
Maybe we are all wrong and the price will be much lower. Maybe 5000influence, not 50 000.

Hey Reaper, you are playing this game wrong. You cannot enjoy it, it cannot be fun for you. You need to quit RL, play as work so even your small guild can afford to buy influence. Or just spend real money every month and so. 100G is really cheap.

But from what i understand, alliance wont be the same as guild event started by your guild.
Yes you can participate, but you will only get 2 commendations. You wont get loot+50s on the end. And that loot matters, because 2 rares or higher? And a precursor change?
But hey, we made influence usable only in WvW(mainly) and now we will punish smaller guild for using it. Nice one Anet,really.

They dont need to add time on website. They just need to announce day after they are really planing to kick off patch.
Example: patch will be 26th, but will be off 25th, everybody suprised and happy.

Probably not today. Maybe tommorow but for sure dont plan to play it until weekend. It may be bugged when it finally arrives.
