Farm skill points and turn those into gold. Right now you can bank 4g with 1 sp if you know what to transmute

Since we have been paying taxes since the start of the launch, when can we see this money been put to use. For instance when is the statue going to be rebuild? or the lighthouse? I’m sure TP has accumulated enough taxes to cover these costs. Or is the money going directly into the corporate mofos that run the TP?

I turned 4g into 50g in less then 30 minutes. It did cost me 100 sp, but hey it was a ranger char and we all know that rangers suck anyways.

Restart when you get cliffside. Its much faster then trying to go through it, even if it is your last fractal. At least this is what we do at 40+

Lol fall damage reduction traits are useless aswell xD I rather have a: “remove all conditions when activating mist form trait.”

You can swap weapons out of combat.

If we would be able to swap in combat we would the most OP class ingame.

For example:
Healing rain + eruption + arcane blast + earthquake + churning earth = alot of AoE healing and damage

Eruption + lava font + ring of fire + dragon’s tooth (if fixed) + phoenix + earthquake + churning earth = alot of might and damage

Nah, you undercut the price of the commodity you want to buy. For instance if a t6 blood is selling for 25 silver, and I put up a few for 20 silver chances are that other ppl will join my 20 silver or undercutting it even more. When there are some posted at 20 silver or less you buy them instead of instantly buying them at 25 silver.

This is how I buy stuff on the TP.

I never said it was the optimal way. I’m just saying there are other ways beside crafting.

Trinkets drop from mobs or get them in Fractals. No crafting required.

Kill the first 2. Then go back to spawn and AoE the rest from below. You need 1 to keep running to the harpies in order to not let them get invul.

Or just use reflect skills.

You can survive Maw with 10 resistance. BUT you’ll need to heal ALOT. As a elementalist use your normal heal skill → followed by all your water healing → if you get down wait till you get to low hp then use skill 2 to regain 50% hp.

This will let you survive without 15 res.

If you don’t heal your dead.

You do not need ecto’s to be “up-to-par” with other players.

Also the drop rate has NOT been nerfed or w/e. Its called a drop chance so you have a chance to get an item or not. So its all luck. One day you can loot 3 exotics and the next day you’ll loot nothing. Get used to it or go play something else.

The only reason why the price is going up is because the amount of gold in-game is steadily increasing. Just as in RL when money supply increases, prices rises (best example is the hyperinflation in Germany post WW).

FoM is easier then getting 50 WvWvW kills.

5 days ago since the last reply. Would be nice to have a daily update on what the status is on fixing these and other bugs.

Anyway here are some more bugs:
- Ascalon fractal Can’t pick up bundles
- Ascalon fractal- Climb the wall to skip the first 2 groups
- Kitty fractal – You can lure the asura between pillars negating his attacks.
- Dredge fractal – The boss with all the adds (before the last boss) his “shockwave” attack hits always, even if you have utillities like Arcane Shield/Mist Form activated.
- Dredge fractal – Bomb part, too many mobs will spawn which results into:
run to the door → plant a bomb → run back/die → lose aggro → wait till bomb respawns → repeat.
- Collussus → Arm part; if you stand on one side that side will not regen. So on higher lvl fractals you leave 1 add on a side and kill the other side.
- Collussus First boss fight; use 1200 range for an easy win. Boss won’t aggro

Lol? The price is balancing. Anyone here played GW1? Ectos there started as 50 for 100k and ended up as 10 for 100k. This process took months and months. In a few months ectos will be 1 for 1,5g which is a good thing IMO.

Flipping is the fastest way to make gold in this game. Ofc you need some gold to start and choose your commodities, but once you get it rolling you will be swimming in gold like that Duck dude xD

Ash Legion Spy Kits <- makes the dredge fractal easy.

Yaay an another expansion, always good news. But as stated before please put more effort into fixing pesky bugs that have been around since Beta.

Also the last update (FoM) is still full of bugs making it one of the most exploitable dungeons in-game. All fractals have 1 or more flaws that makes the fractal easy, for instance attacking the archdiviner with 1200 range to kill him before the cutscene starts.

Please fix these things first before releasing the next major content release.

I know its frustrating, best bet is to go right after a server reset. ANet is still “working on it” (they are working on alot, but never seem to get it right xD)

If it is really a simple hotfix as you claim, then ANet would have fixed it by now. If you know how to fix it please contact ANet since they are looking for good developers.

Then don’t do the monthly. Nobody is forcing you to go to FoM or kill ppl in WvW

/dance will no longer make your character dance but he will drop to the ground, dead and a skritt comes running by stealing all the shiny gold coing you have in your pockets.

Go naked and you don’t have repair bills.

Maw – When picking up a crystal and pressing a movement key at the same time you cancel the pick up and get stuck into an autorun bug.

Maw- Holding a crystal during the “final wave” can result into instant killing yourself if you don’t drop it afterwards.

Svanir- Son of Svanir (boss) When you use the skill Ride the Lightning as an Elementalist at the moment that the boss teleports to the top to cast frozen shards, you’ll get stuck into the wall unable to move untill you use an other auto-movement skill (lightning flash, updraft, ride the lightning etc.)

Svanir- Son of Svanir (boss) when your party is leaving you behind and you have to use the banner to get into the boss room, you can get stuck into an ice wall unable to move. The only way out is to wait untill the boss teleports to drop ice shards.

Svanir- During the beginning you can jump off ledges skipping a few campfires.

Grawl- Sometimes a veteran grawl will teleport next to a prisoner instantly pushing it off the cliff (<3 Grawl)

Uncategorized? (the kitty place)- You can jump on the walls at Tom to carry tears to the batteries before aggroing Tom.

Dredge- You can use Ash Legion Spy kits to invis yourself to stand on controllers or activitate the last controller without getting hurt. (Don’t know if this is a bug or just a helpfull tip, please don’t remove these my ele loves them)

The question is why did ANet pick the “world” model and not for a cross server faction system? The problem with WvWvW is that some worlds are getting abandoned for the more ‘winning’ side.

In GW1 we had factions, it didn’t matter if you were from server A or server B you picked a side and fought with them.

The current system has alot of flaws and on some servers (like Far Shiverpeaks) WvWvW is dying.

For me there isn’t a standard weapon set. If I know the next section is CQC I switch to D/D. If I know there will be groups of mobs I switch to staff. If I know the mobs will be primarily melee I switch to S/D. If I know that the mobs are primarly ranged I switch to S/F or staff depending on the LoS.

As an elementalist you should not rely on one weapons set for every situation. Collect them all and use them in the right situation. Traits hardly matter for the elementalist, just dont stack aura traits when using staff etc.

Why is this the only “feedback” thread?
Why isn’t there a similar thread on the other class forums?

Thiefs aren’t the only class ingame, and are one of the most “fixed” classes out there. Why don’t you guys invest time and resources in all the classes, instead of focusing on one?

GW2 is getting more popular with the new gear. My guild/friendlist has an 50% increase in its overall activity. People are more online then pre-patch. So yeah, the new content was a success and should stay and even expand on it! Maybe add some new tiers with every expansion to keep everyone busy.

Hmm 1-19 can be done without agony res. Wait till you hit 20 and your entire party has only 10 agony res hahahaha! Can’t wait till the majority of you whiners hit that stage =)

I can understand that for newcomers the dredge can be a bit problematic. But it is not by far the longest of the fractals. Also it drops ALOT of loot (bomb part). The boss isn’t that hard, just have 1 do pulling of the controls and let the others DPS/kite. You can interrupt his healing with either lava or interrupt skills. Both the dredge as the ice elemental will sit down when they start healing, so just interrupt them and continue the DPS. It takes about 2-3 minutes to kill it…

When a few mess up and die to the bombs, let one kite the boss away to the other side and ress your party. Its really not hard at all and it could use a buff like when you hit FoM 20+ there will be extra Vet mobs in the area or guarding the controls making it a bit more difficult.

Spam all skills with blast finishers in a fire field.

Thats my combo, for the rest it seems that auto-attack is the highest DPS xD

Magnetic grasp also buggs out regulary and has lost its leap finisher. Same with Ride the Lightning when using it on large creatures

Switch off auto-targeting in the options menu to get rid of this problem.

Its no bug. Its just bad luck. I’m pretty sure that when a ring drops for you guys you’ll be jumping up and down your seat. So just relax, take a deep breath, play the game or an other game or w/e you do to relax. You’ll get one sooner or later.

Check to see if your computer is able to properly run Guild Wars 2. This is probally the reason for most of the crashes. I used to crash alot, then I got myself some new hardware and now I never crashed/dc;ed and have run over 100+ fractals.

Fractals won’t reset upon doing them at a lower lvl lol.

Here is why people don’t do lower lvl fractals:

1-9 No ascended drops (except for the vial), low exotic drop
10-19 Ascended ring drops, medrium exotic drop
20-29 etc

I never get disconnected and I have run 100+ fractals. Are you guys sure it isn’t your connection/pc?

Lol Swamp is the easiest especially with Bloomhunger as boss. We always laugh when it comes up because we know we are gonna complete it within 10 minutes. (Current fractal 35)

Tips:
- Equip condition removal utillity
- Equip condition removal signet
- ALWAYS KEEP JUMPING, whilst carrying
- Keep swiftness on
- If you can keep stabillity on
- Jump the tree roots to get over the barricades
- Countdown from 3 to 1 before starting.

Even without a mesmer portal it is doable from every location as every class…

I plaed through the entire event. Died multiple times due to invisible crabs, but plowed my way through. Got to the end, a nice cutscene and a big chest. Some random exotics nice! Then I heard this:
“Lololol afk’ed after the first part, still got the gold medal. And look! [Dusk] [Spark]”

I cried myself to sleep that evening….

Just farmed trolls for 3 hours, got 6 t5 bloods and thats it… Just remove the DR alrdy!

How can you farm, when you hit the DR every 10 minutes? Now that the botters are as good as gone, maybe its time to remove the DR from the loot.

Jump over the trees,
keep jumping to avoid traps,
I can run the wisps from every posistion with 5 seconds left (scale 15)

Its not that hard, really the boss is more annoying xD

WOW just WOW, this dungeon omg…. We just cleared the first difficulty and our last fractak was just amazing. PRE-SEARING ASCALON!!! OMG I kittened in my pants when I saw charr attacking Ascalon =)

I dropped arcana from 30 to 20, this is the build I’m currently running:

0/15/10/25/30

All traits are setup to provide boons when auras are applied. The 25 in water will give you +2% for every boon.

Heal:
The glyph thingy

As for utillity:
Glyph of Storms/ice bow
arcane shield
mist form

Elite:
Summon Elemental

Full pow/pre/crit damage

Keep as many boons/might stacks to increase your damage.

D/D:
0/15/10/25/20

Figure out the traits yourself (aura’s!)

Lol, you dont need 30 arcana… The attunements gcd is fine even with 10 in arcana. Just stay a bit longer in your current attunement and time your switches and you’ll be fine.

I’m more upset by the fact that my DPS is cut in half because of the blast finish might stack…

It seems that the patch didn’t fix magnetic grasp. I still get stuck in the animation making me useless for 2 seconds.

Just remove this skill already and implement something else…
