I’ll have to do some more testing, but so far my ele build got hit pretty hard. Looks like I’ll be trying out new builds this weekend…

Tested it, no more blasts not even on the fire/earth dodge even though those are blast finish skills. So the trait is basically useless except for the water dodge…

There will be no treadmill, read the blogs the ascended items are only required the deeper you get in FoM

That makes no sense at all. We don’t know what the dungeon will be like, we don’t know what the drop rate will be like. If the dungeon is more difficult then all the dungeons combined then the exotic market will still be there. I’m pretty sure ANet will not release stronger items that will be obtainable in a few hours or days.

Lets just wait and see what this content will bring.

WvWvW is currently imbalanced, if some obtains ascended items this will not change this. Currently those wielding legendary weapons are also imbalancing wvwvw but you don’t hear anyone complaining about them.

Yes it will. I’ll be holding a 72 hour GW2 marathon this weekend, I can’t wait to try all the new content =)

If they added these items from the start no one would be complaining right now. I’m sure that after the content is released people will be praising ANet for the awesome new content.

Really people, get that sand out of your kitten and be happy about new content.

My hopes:
- Disable auto-target on ride the lightning.
- Fix arcane power to crit 5 times instead of 2
- Fix magnetic grasp
- Enable control options for elementals (like the ranger pets)
- Buff Arcane shield from 3 to 5 blocks.
- Fix evasive arcana to only grant blast finishers to churning earth (earth dodge) and flame blast (fire dodge). Yes I said it, the blast finisher for water is overpowered (2k heal from the dodge 4k from the area healing is to much). Also it seems there isn’t a delay if you chain dodge, meaning you can spike AoE heal for 12k. Or stack 12 stacks of might instantly (Fire ring + dodge + dodge earthquake + churning earth)
- Remove the maximum targets an AoE can hit. If I setup my skill to hit 50 ppl with an AoE they should all get damaged by it.
- Fix any other bugs the elementalist has.

Lol… Ever heard of evade? Learn it, use it, love it.

Ele > any other class:
- most evade skills
- most usefull utillities
- biggest AoE
- highest damage (15k churning earth is pretty OP)
- most stuns/knockdowns
- best healing
- best support
- best buffer

Really my ele > any other class any day of the week.

I wear full pow/pre/crit dam % in WvW and I hardly die. I can take out small-medium sized zergs within a few seconds. I can capture a supply camp within a minute. I can escape from massive zergs. I can hold down keeps with my staff aoe. etc etc etc

Love the new content and up and coming content. I am going to grind that dungeon till my hands bleed >=) gonna get msyself that ring and then craft the back slot. I CANT WAIT GOOGO ANET MAKE MOAR!!!

I don’t understand the peoples frustration. You do not have yo grind these items if you don’t like it. The current content won’t get harder if you don not wear these new items. So you still get to do that!

Don’t stomp them. It’s more fun to interrupt them everytime they try to heal. Just interrupt them, walk away. 10 secs later, interrupt them walk away. When you get an entire team to downstate you have won the match =)

Just did it same as always. Apply bleed/poison and you can forget about the crystals.

This is gonna be awesome =) and its just a +2 stat difference between exotic and legendary, so who the kitten cares?

I wonder if they’ll add the ascended gear to the chests with a high drop rate to stimulate purchase of BL keys.

Would be funny if the dungeon drops would be like 0,00001% and the same kitten drops from the chest with like 50% :P

Karma per hour is higher in WvWvW borderlands maps, then it is when farming in Orr. Ofc you need the outmanned buff and a party for raiding supply camps.

Yes it is ridiculous, the zone should start further down the road, maybe with an invulnarable gate and some legendary defenders, like the main gate.

If you do not like pressing 3 skills all the time. Switch to Ele/engi they have to use all of their skills to survive even the simplest trash mobs.

Same here. It keeps getting worse, or the population is decreasing alot the last past weeks.

Lolol that made me rofl even IMO ele’s aren’t that bad as everyone says (ele as main). And can thiefs really spam 7k damage skills lol? That kitten is overpowered simple because most players only have 15-20k hp so 3 hits is a kill and they even have stealth xDD

I just logged into the WvWvW of Far shiverpeaks. 3/4 were completely empty. Logged into LA maybe 10-15 ppl there. Went to cursed shore, plinx uncontested, penitent lost, shelter lost, Arah gate lost. Spamming for Karma farming party = no results.

And to those showing the US server list. Play on a EU server during EU prime time and you’ll see what we mean.

“US” servers… Look further then the end of your nose please. Take a look at Far Shiverpeaks (the server I am on) During the week the place is a ghost town. It only gets better from 8-10 pm (which is logical), but still I have never encountered a MMO that was getting deserted after one month.

Nightcapping(or ppl across the world capping your regional server) is getting ridiculous nowadays. This is my oppinion

They are easy to dodge, but once they get you, you’ll be dead. They always spam knock you down, I think its their default attack lol.

Also I got knocked into some stairs by one lol. Couldn’t get out and had to TP back to free myself xDDDD

If they are speculating? Why not buy all precursors and sell them for much larger prices. Thats what I should do lol. Buy all precursor and sell them for 1k-2k gold each.

Not being there =) Once I got the karma and gear I needed I stopped coming to Orr. Game feels so much nicer now.

Trouble with gold? Lol, I have a tip:

Run AC explorer path 1,2 and 3 every day. Each path is a guaranteed 15+26s = 41s a run (not including loots) which adds up to 1,2g each day.

Also the less you die, the richer you become.

I remember the MMO’s wher you died you had a chance to leave your equipement behind. I remember dieing while lvling and had to run ASAP back to get my stuff back, ofc some kitten took my body so I first had to kill him o retrieve my kitten. THOSE were the days =)

Just make your own precursor. Its cheaper and more fun! Nobody is telling you to buy these in the first place. Also there may be new ways added into the game to obtain precursor/legendary, so I would suggest wait at least untill the 18th of november to see what the SoS update will bring.

Arcane gives extra boon duration +boons on swapping at arcane 20. Besides that it reduces the gcd of your attunements, thus making swapping and using combo fields to its fully potential to gain even more boons.

Ofc you can not spec into arcane and stay longer in each attunement, but you won’t be able to use combo fields that often and your boons won’t last that long (+20% crit chance is real nice for example)

If you all find it somehow necessary to trait Arcana then you are doing something very very wrong.

Its not necessary but if you don’t spec it you’ll lose alot of buffs/DPS.

This is my D/D pwn ’n buff line:

Air:
3-4-5

Fire:
3-2-5-4

Earth:
4-5-2

Water:
2-3-4-(5)

Laugh and repeat

With the right traits you’ll end with alot of buffs and alot of dead enemies around you.

So basically my server is empty except for maybe 1-2 hours a day. And by empty I mean LA is empty, WvWvW is empty and all the good dungeons/farm locations are empty.

So are there any servers out there that has a good population throughout the day?

If this content takes place for > 50% underwater, I’m gonna cry myself to sleep.

It happens alot with the dagger #1 skills. Almost all destructibles can’t be hit with the dagger #1 attack. It is quite annoying, but not the worst of our bugs xD

Finished it within my first 3 attempts. Just try it once more, take your time there is no need to rush it. Make safe jumps and by now you should know the path.

There are more of these roads all over Tyria. There could be a possibillity that these will be opened in future expansion. So maybe it will be, maybe it won’t.

This morning I saw some dude that got hit by the hurricane freaking out about having no power to look at his facebook… Like wtf? Worry about safety/food/shelter first, guild wars 2 wont be swept away by a hurricane xD

If they would have made it into a shooter with free aim and Zhaitan flying around trying to mow you down with his breath/claws it would have been so much more awesomer.
