If you interrupt a duel (without knowing it’s one), you’ll see the player from your server disengaging and most of the time writing in say or whisper to you. If you don’t disengage then, the other one and everyone watching will attack you.
Personally, i would let you live after downing you for the first time. But if you interrupt again, that’s a stomp.

That might be because i’m mesmer and can both counter it via stealthing and provide additional targets to lower the damage, but overall i found it to be ok. Maybe needs some adjustment to the damage and/or 1 hit cut to reduce the evade duration, but otherwise i think it’s ok.

You can try killing them if you want, but usually these people are much better than you and there are spectators from both enemy servers around that will kill you while your guys stand there watching.
That said, there are specific dueling spots (south camp mill, Obsidian Sanctum), that should be used for dueling.

I know it’s WvW, but i’ve been hit for 7*1.8k by this skill, which would have been enough to “oneshot” a glassy thief while evading and chasing the whole time.
for comparison:
- Blurred Frenzy: 2.4 multiplier over 8 hits
- Pistol Whip: 3.33 multiplier over 9 hits
- Unrelenting Assault: 5.005 multiplier over 7 hits
Keep in mind that Unrelenting Assault tracks and stacks might, while the other 2 skills selfroot.
Obviously, this skill gets weaker the more targets it has, but for single target it’s amazing.

Just dodge right after useing blink to evade incomming projectiles. So they dont hit you.
Not 100% sure right now, but i don’t think this works. When traiting Evasive Mirror, you will reflect projectiles mid-dodge or during Blurred Frenzy, after all.

It seems like you are shooting at the golem in the back, your arrow pierces the first golem, procs Sigil of Air on it, then hits the 2nd golem and stealth you. The Air proc only then actually does damage and reveals you. If Air procs on the golem you are actually targeting, everything works fine.

Current phantasm health is fine. For dedicated phantasm builds they should probably buff Persisting Images and place it higher in its traitline.

Increasing the range of legendary defenders would also mean increasing the area where you aren’t allowed to place siege since placing them in an area where all enemies are instantly killed is kinda op.

If you are so outmanned, that the enemy is able to keep you in spawn even with constant respawns, there is no point in adding even more PvE to WvW.
Besides, you can already activate Siegerazer to push out of the spawn, if needed.

I don’t roam, roamers to me are walking gankers. Most of their kills are people trying to get somewhere who aren’t traited for roaming but traited for WvW zerging.
That’s exactly what a roamer does. Capping camps/sentries that are not worth the whole zerg and denying enemy backups. Most of us aren’t even playing for points, but we end up benefiting the server more than yet another zergling because of all the small things we do. And if we get chased by an enemy group, even better, because we are effectively trading 1vX.

Power shatter only rarely goes into Illusions, so i would doubt he had The Pledge traited. Especially if he had PU, going for that trait means either giving up on Domination (100% stun, vuln-spam, shatter damage or power block) or Dueling (DE, blinds, perma-fury, vigor).
I can imagine power shatter going Inspiration for the cleanse and heals, but Illusions is kinda unlikely.

Heartseekers can be queued up by spamming 2 and will still aim at and hit a stealthed target this way.

Skills queued up before you go into stealth will still hit you. This is especially noticable against rangers.
Also, going into stealth doesn’t make you invulnerable, so the thief can still hit you if he knows/guesses where you are.

Dont fix the pledge. It is actually a good trait. No good mesmer currently takes the pledge or the illusions line. For gods sake dont nerf it.

Staff is mainly a utility and defensive weapon. The Fury on AA used to be better before Dueling provided perma-Fury, but it’s still good. Also Chaos Storm actually deals pretty good power damage if it crits.
