The summary of the live stream on dulfy says it will be a 10% overall nerf if in full zerker per player. This is disturbing when considering a full zerk group….10% per player = 50% damage nerf for a full group = double the fight durations. may as well carry a pvt strapped to your back while trying to clear a dungeon/fractal.

Yup and I stack Vit on my build. Dodge, Block, and Aegis are the reasons our HP pool is in the lowest tier. So if my dodge is taken away a bit, I’d like to get a bit compensation too.

No. At absolute best you can expect about 5 dollars per 1000 views. In reality it’s more like 1.5-2 dollars. I believe youtube ads require clickthroughs to actually add to your revenue though, which means that anyone with an ad blocker isn’t contributing.

You can get about 2-3$ CPM on a network, especially someone with his subcount.
As for the clickthroughs, not needed if you use “pre-roll”, “mid-roll” and lastly “post-roll” adds, which he uses.

I was a Charr at game release, but switched to Asura, the way chars shoot rifles is beyond stupid, their whole coat lifts up like they just farted a big one.

Nemesis Class cannon Necro is fail and far behind max dps necrobuilds, his condimancer is meh. His Hybridvideo is the only good, but even there he made alot of mistakes (their is no other way to play a hybrid necromancer) for example is wrong.

Zepter is good vs BIG stationare targets. Bosses like lupicus and a few other. Versus 99% of all other bosses it´s subpar.

No issue at all, i would say if they make it so Serker gear is useless they can simply do the same like they did with the MF gear, especially for those people who worked their poverbial behinds off for Ascended serker gear

All the posts crying how all of a sudden Ascended becomes unusable are ridiculous, forgot already what happened to MF gear?
If they end up nerfing it you will likely get the option to change your stats around, Do I think they will? nah, they will be coming with something that “levels the playing field” which is a good thing.

Some really good posts here, i especially like the post a little above mine, which explains how it’s the groups that’s the problem and I agree, the whole “Guardian + 3 Wars + 1 extra” is the problem here, if they can tackle the Zerker problem by making Zerker warriors flop over after getting 1 hit, Just Like Everyone Else you just fixed the problem.

Been checking out the elementalist and loving it, however having one hell of a time trying to figure out a leveling trait build.
Most “leveling guides” are old and very outdated, starting for example with saying go 10 in Arcana and grab Elemental Attunement @ 10 points in, which right of the bat doesn’t work anymore.

Checked the spec thread and it’s old as well, so my question : Does anyone know of a good trait spec for a leveler?

So i wont be able to play on a US server with my old GW1 friends?

I saw a very old post stating this, but alot of people are saying it changed aroudn the “guetsing” patch.

Better solution would be to not show the name, if you don’t accept the invite.

One up and one down solves some problems but creates a bunch more. Including that it invalidates ratings entirely. It no longer takes into account quality of victory but simply uses the fact of victory to move a server out of the matchup they were previously in. The system we are using now creates varied matchups, which will allow us to get more accurate ratings. As those become more accurate we can dial down on the amount of variance we are introducing to have matchups that are varied, but less prone to large rating gaps between the servers. But, again, this is entirely based on server rating, which is the thing we have actually been calculating this entire time. Until that number is a more accurate reflection of server quality, we are going to keep mixing the matchups up.

I think the bigger problem your now facing with this grande failure of yours is the fact : How to keep people to stay in wvw, the losing servers are completely giving up, way to go, you ledt lower tier servers to a complete and utter slaughter.
Or was this all a great plan to get people to go into the failure called sPvP?

The concept of tiers has little meaning at this point and you should try to stop thinking of matchups in those terms. Servers are matched up by proximity of rating, not proximity of “tier”..

It’s funny how those servers who are rated “higher” seem to utterly destroy the other two, look at your own statistics, it’s a slaughterhouse in almost every matchup, there is 1 server dominating it, and every single time it’s the higher ranked server.

I think it’s fair to say that our non-recruitment strategy is basically to attract mature community-minded fun people (be they individuals or small groups), and to put off tryhard big guilds and server hopping alliances where possible.

But if we’re not for you I hope you find the perfect home soon, or that WSR perks up for you

Thanks for the kind words, i actually ended up on this server (WSR) due to a guild that kept hopping servers (in the early days of GW2) and i simply had enough, so stayed on board.
I think the recruitment strategy is a sound one, i myself am just messing about at the moment checking out servers through the guesting feature, which is a great tool for that.

To be quite honest.. could be better, i been shopping around for a server transfer, most of the zones are deserted and in wvw we seem to be mostly holed up in our own border because we cant field enough people.
