WvW problem is that some people take casual PvP mode too seriously. They blobbing around, using lame specs and tactics. If they wanna play serious PvP they could try to win some sPvP tournament or something.

Noo GvG guilds don’t quit. I wanna shoot mortar burning over you and bore you to death.

Well i tell you and anet doesn’t even need to pay me anything. Solution is 2 hour matches!!! Remove all servers and make guild and PUG ladders. It would be like 2 hours 100 vs 100 vs 100 sPvP match in WvW map where same level/size players and guilds would fight against each other.

Players and guilds that contribute more would get better rewards, winner side would get so good rewards that everybody would actually try and people would really try to carry team, add some rewards tracks, some challenges like 20 ram kills in one match, PUG and guild statistics (statistics are like most important part of PvP. What is the point if you can’t know who is best?) and so on. System could have some balance problems, but some smart dude could think how to fix those. Of course system would use awesome new map because EB and alpine borders are little bit too simple and boring.

Kitten this could be new esport and more popular that those weird games where you control some ugly hero.

You know that low tier EU servers were merged with SFR long time ago, but all players didn’t get the memo.

Old borderlands were empty too.

People get burn out so easily nowadays. Think if you would have to work or do something else boring irl stuff.

I did know only one combo mirror blade + blink and they nerfed it.

Haven’t played mesmer for a while. Seems like i get only two dmg hits no matter what i do.

not really, i mean js and viz have 40 morning players we at max 15 lol.
That there are no enemies in the night and deso has 10 to 15 players, i dont blame the ppting then i blame enemies for not showing up. Everyone should know this by now xD.

We did win tier 1 match 94 times this way and everytime somebody whined about it.

Actually all PTT heroes, bandwagoners and f2p players stacked in deso. Look at that score. They PPT like crazy.

Guilds like TT is so easy to outplay. Just defend and make them bored.

No idea how SFR is. I have played only PvE and EotM after EotM launch.

Some random dude thinks that he can dictate how server plays. Deso have so much f2p players that they are real community now. If they wanna PPT they will PPT.

Well when boring players quit WvW it will be much better.

EotM have best community. Go there.

Why not? WvW is PvP for PvE players.

Map doesn’t seem to break zerg because nobody care if they lose something. Map should just move part of players other side of map if they try to blob. Or some kind of movement speed debuff should make blobbing impossible.

Enemy have so big blobs that anet need to lower map cap.

Map good, players bad.

Female charr + heavy armor = awesomeness.

I find it too hard to be proud of any accomplishment in pve. It has about as much attraction as being really good at jumping puzzles.

Its basically like saying yayyy, i finally beat bald bull on mike tyson’s punch-out with the response of…yeah, so did everyone else once you figured out the timing, pleb.

I am very proud when i win fight in WvW because i know that if i win fight in WvW i must be very good.

Maybe we should ask some PvE speed runners help?

Reapper is kind of lame and too easy to play, but that RS spinning skill, chill dmg and RS autoattack burning are just too good to pass up.

Dire rapper is best PvE class in game. Top dps in dragon stance.

Somebody should tell him that only noobs wear berserker.

I honestly believe it would be far too strong for a condition/hybrid reaper. No idea how else it’d be buffed, though.

Condition doesn’t go Curses anyway right now.

Good players use curses, bad players read meta battle.

WvW was good first week when people did run alone and tried to kill stuff, but then i saw some weird blob in bay wall that got [RG] tag. They played like idiots and stayed very close eachother. I was like “what a bunch of noobs, drop some dragon tooths there and they all die”. Well after that WvW was mindnumbling hammer smashing.

Well this just means that normal players who wanna have fun can come play wvw. We just still need to smoke these 30-50 man wannabe blob guilds out of game mode.

Revenant is very good in EotM. I select some enemy inside big zerg and use pro hammer 111211121112112 combo. If somebody shoot me i use hammer 4. I have planed change my soldier trinkets to berserker, but i am scared that i crit too big numbers and servers will melt.

There werw good fights in EotM yesterday. We did meet guild groups that didn’t use guardians like normal lamer guilds.

Well even full servers doesn’t have nearly enough players so why the kitten anybody would go even emptier server?

“HC WvW players” need to l2p game first. They run away when you build couple carts.

Because WvW is PvP for PvE players and sPvP is for PvP players.

Noo anet nerfed it. 400 hp was much better than this carebear 250.

Why anybody would play WvW now? I probably play WvW after i have made legendary armor.

Funny, because months before HoT annoucement, people were complaining that WvW and the maps were getting stale.

That is why I called them a red herring. Players thought a new map would help but I think that is putting lipstick on a proverbial pig. I believe solving the fundamental stale matchups with the same stale builds was the real issue.

The new class and elites went a long way toward resolving part of the issue (it has been 3 years since we had a new weapon, class or even race) but if GW2 wants to create a fresh WvW scene they need to address the stale matches and population imbalances as well.

The population imbalance is whats causing the problems, not the maps.

Well even sPvP map is too big when you just blob around.

Stop blobbing. I haven’t even notice any difference in stability and old borderlands were worst PvP map ever and EotM is best.

Best PvE map ever. I have played 13 hours already. Frigging hilarious stuff.

You go in hero panel story journal or something and start that new story. After that you go silverwastes and you do that short story.

Yes tried to do this for almost 2 hours and a half….but i was not able to start the quest.
I was pressing “H” hero panel/ACHIEVEMENT****/HoT and it was only showing me the achievements….and i was going crazy clicking on it to find a description of waht to do,where to go etc…

Finally i found a player on the map that start helping me and explained me i was going to “achievement” instead of the “Journal”….
Now i found the quest and i was finally able to find the “start quest” key…..

I feel so stupid 2 hours and a half going crazy for every map …..

Looks like things are not “T*rd-proof” enough for me .

Alpine borderlands were horrible anyways. Too much open spaces.

Game have huge amount tools that help you win outnumbered fights, but players just aren’t skilled/smart enough to use those.
