It is surprising to me that DH drops off more due to PvE updates than SBI. I had figured SBI had the greater PvE population somehow.
That’s because SBI pvers are hardcore. They’ve already finished the content. I’ve had a friend from SoR guest over and say wow your PvE has zergs. SoR PvE is a ghost town lol.
Did anybody else notice that fight clubs are always picked on SBI BL? There must be a passive special attraction about us you cannot ignore…
Thanks guys. That is interesting. We actually have a guild called SBI Invaders that does weekly temple runs while guesting on another server. Good fun. Ppl tag that and ‘invade’ another server’s temples.
Server guilds can’t disband or leave… Unless the server disbands or leaves? The Champs server guild is built on a very open model, where sharing is encouraged and leadership is carried by those who step forward.
I’m just curious, has this concept ever caught on to other servers? Having a server guild that helps to fund and support it’s WvW? If there are others, I would like to know about them and how they are run. Share ideas! Thanks.
Clearly shouldnt be in this match up. We really cant keep weathering endless weeks of this. Its either a match upwith 2 servers and one no show or us and 2 servers vastly superior. Basically bleeding all our players away.

Good job. I did like to know. You guys did a hell of a job holding Hills regardless of what others might say. Your siege knowledge and counters made it a real challenge to retake.
SBI has better tactics and PvP fighting. I’m not saying there aren’t great tactics and fighters on BP but I think overall, SBI is better.
And organization and strategy beat tactics and fighting skills every time.
Fellow SBI, the BP posters are telling us how they are beating us. But we’re not listening. They are right – we need strategy. Right now we have none.
They are the best map hoppers we have faced since TSYM.
Totally agree. BP trumps SBI in these areas.

A small group of us knew BP’s weaknesses and tried to play for it, but it wasn’t enough of us doing it. That and a seeming coverage issue during NA midday/Euro TZ.
So if EB guys don’t play points. Why are those of us in bls trying so hard? And pls pls, WvW does not revolve around EB.
Honestly I have never seen another server more dedicated to going to EB than SBI. Probably a residual habit from Nope. But seriously guys, there are equally epic fights elsewhere.
Pls learn to balance, prioritize and not over extend. Thanks.

The guy in the blue cap red shirt was obviously the commander. Sbi looked like it was a headless zerg and the strong fighters in the front got cut off from the pve pew pews at the back.
Are they even prominent guilds on SBI that glitched thru? Or are they just pve randoms who come to wvw for the first time?
How can you possibly expect us to police every pug on the server?
Also it doesn’t look like they did it on purpose because all they became were loot bags. They were probably more suprised than you. Must have been quite a WTF moment I imagine.
I think SBI taking a break over the last two weeks to do pve is definitely paying off in this matchup.
I attribute it to the increase in WvW [EVENTS] we are having on SBI. More ppl are coming for organized wvw not the blob v blob chaos of unorganized play.
I am thinking of doing an event in support of Bannok. When and what time does he play?
Wow SBI, you guys are pretty low today. I saw what your pal Efrite was up too. Funny how 30 seconds after she blew up the supply in Overlook you guys attacked Veloka. And 30 seconds after she blew up the supplies in Stonemist you were at the Great Western Gate. I suddenly have a very irrational desire to go ape on your borderlands this week. Its funny though. As soon as it happened, we told everyone to get to Stonemist. If you want to bend the rules, at least not be so obvious about it.

Unfortunately the old “Start an upgrade at the worst possible time” isn’t that uncommon on SBI, next time it happens I guess it’s BP’s fault.
Hahahaha we have so many ‘Efrites’ on SBI. I guess they all must be from BP!!! That is the only logical conclusion!
Borlis Pass at SBI Hills. I have to give you props on discipline. Your control over keep supply during defence is admirable. Our pugs would have just drained our supply building/repairing useless kitten.
Your siege/counter siege warfare is good. With knowledge, I see how you improvise to counter as we improvise to attack.
Majority of you are able to STICK on the commander. SBI pls improve in that area. I am not that fast.

They have half of SBI’s old WvW population. That’s where most of the rats went. WM to Kaineng, SF to JQ, a few others to the aforementioned and the rest to SoR (while we were fighting them in the same match-up, some of them were attempting to spawn-camp SBI a day after they left). Neva 4get.
Not quite. SBI NA moved to JQ. They followed our NA leaders SF. SBI Asian went SoR. Both choices were made to bolster the weakness of both servers respectively to create more balanced WvW.
WM and the people they carried moved with them.
But that is not why SoR rose. They rose because they stuck together better than we did. When the going was rough, they stuck it out. SoR had our SBI mentality of “Never Give Up, Never Die” attitude better than us.
We cracked when free transfers ended. They did not.
It also helped that they have a Leader Indo [TW] that gives inspiring speeches on TS during each reset night meeting. I’ve heard his speeches before and they will move you.
That was easily the worst WvW video ive ever seen though. How anyone could stay in voice chat with that kind of yelling and panicing is beyond me.
It’s not panicking. If you listen carefully he says pretty specific things. Most of the time. Keeps those fighting on their toes and always at high alert.

Don’t get me wrong I have seen a lot of good stuff, it just seems like it’s limited to one maybe 2 commanders that pull the good open field stuff in big groups.
He is right. Majority of SBI has not learnt the importance of commander sticking and using Teamspeak. That is one of our hurdles now. We have the framework set up, it just needs willing users now.
With only a handful of commanders on SBI introduced to top tier tactics since the CD/SoS/SBI match, our command is slowly improving and the troops are also getting familiar with what is required of them.
However that is only those on TS. 40 or so on an average NA night. Ghost town during other times.
I know how SoR rose to where it is now and it is with that model in mind I hope to mould SBI.

From what I’ve learnt most people tend to overestimate numbers. Here’s a trick I do. When my eyez tell me it’s 20 just minus 10 and you have a more accurate estimation.
Also if there’s no more boob touching I’m not coming back here again /yawn.
This “we are a PVE server” kitten is getting kinda old, if SBI was that much a PvE server than they woulda dropped a lot farther down, see GOM, NSP, IOJ for examples
