Fighting for third place in a match like this is futile. The second place server this week won’t be decided by SoS or SBI, it will be decided by SoR. Whichever server they hit harder, whichever server they ignore, that’s the server that will come second. In imbalanced matches that’s how it’s always decided. If SoR wants to push SBI over the line into gold league, they can easily do so in the final two days of the match. If they want to lock SBI out, they can also do that.

One of the key things Bannok said about SBI is the attitude to ‘improve’. Many of our new brothers and sisters were drawn to SBI because they share similar attitudes for seeking new challenges and continual improvement.

SBI’s old motto was “Log on, Rock out, and Screw the Score.”

Perhaps the new SBI motto would be “Adapt. Improve. Overcome.”

The higher you go, the more emphasis on organized groups become. Ie. Guild groups.

Average guild groups can take even numbers of pugs, good ones can take 2-3 times their size.

Gloating over killing pug blobs with guild groups is like taking candy from a child.

The more challenging fights come versus other organized groups.

It is hard for many of you to return because you have settled into your new servers, but there are still ways to help your once beloved home SBI if you are still interested.

I have started a project to have experienced players/commanders come and visit SBI and conduct training sessions for SBI’s growing WvW guilds.

Currently ex-SBIer Fannwong [TW] is making an effort and sacrificing some of his time to come on SBI to train Twisted Effect [TE], one of SBI’s home grown WvW guilds.

The training is very beneficial for participants and trainer alike, as they learn from each other and improve.

If you would like to be involved in this project as a guest trainer, pls send me a message here or in-game and I will get in touch with you.

Guilds on SBI pls also msg me if you are interested as [TE] is to receive such WvW training. I can set up sessions for you.

I did ask PH Philippine Heroes to return home to SBI a few weeks ago when we were matched up with them but they said they were too attached to KNN. Where are they now anyone know?

Hello fellow SG! Woo. Like Gannicus said SBI is a stable server in terms of community. Our overall server community was strong and still is. The WvW part of the server community recently got stronger.

Our NA is pretty decent now, but our Oceanic/SEA/EU time zones lack people. No queues and outnumbered on most maps.

lol. But seriously, [TE] is not a GvG guild cmon. They are pure hardcore WvW. It’s just the matchup was so boring they decided to practice their group synergy in a GvG.

The aim was to improve their teamwork and co-ordination in battle, not to glorify their guild in a GvG.

SBI has come a long way. Twisted Effect [TE] and Mad Life [ML] are home grown. I am glad most of the guilds that joined us are well versed in higher tier tactics.

Really? I never had that problem. lol. Only all maps queued on reset and even then not for very long. (for SBI)

Other times it’s insta queue.

Edit Oh you were refering to SoR. Yeah, inside info from Anet Dev. They were amazed too. Reset on SoR if you can’t get in right at the start, go to sleep. Other times it’s pretty quick or instant.

I’m in SEA time zone from Singapore. Confirm Garantee Plus Chop [SG] runs that time. Not large group about 10 people. It cannot compare to the higher ranked server’s Asia/Oceanic pop atm, but it has good potential for growth.

So much for trial by fire. Rather disappointing. [DR] appears to be the only group able to really test us this week.

Ioj had more challenging open field.

Recent Influence drive for SBI’s wvw server guild, a place where we share resources for the benefit of our server in wvw. We had alot of people tagging [SBI] (not captured in video) for the 2 hours of the event.

CNB was the only guild I took note of during our match ups. You posed problems to SBI militia. Required guild groups to engage you.

Since it’s my buddy FW thread I’ll say something.

It’s usually instant queue on maps during OCEANIC/SEA time. The objective is to create and sustain balanced WvW servers that have very little or no coverage gaps.

No tag or many tags it’s really all ok because more people are using the server Teamspeak and communication is very much improved.
