One thing is for sure, a good number of us is not gonna take this week serious with capping and defending for obvious reasons. For the most part I’m just looking for some good fights.

As for GvG, i’m open to the idea but i’m pretty sure we will get crushed lol. I have 0 experience in that. I am a pure WvW tactician. Terrain, Timing, Technique are my speciality. Open field warfare is where it’s at.

Once you know the size of the circle, you can use fast ground targeting again. Same goes to all your other aoe circle type skills.

Contary to popular belief SBI WvW is far from dead, a group of us are highly experienced in WvW and are sharing it with the whole server. We could use more Guilds like that.

There was a big strain on NA guilds back before SBI exodus. Take that and the opportunity to start new and the lack of any guilds publically announce they were going to xfer to SBI after transfers close; these were why the SBI guilds at the time went different directions.

Yeah there was a huge strain, not just on NA as good ol’ Mayo might think but also on the Asian crew NYS YAKI SAHP SYN.

What forced the hand, was free transfers ending when they did. It was a culmination of all these factors that led to what happened. But wtf are we still talking about it? LOL

I love when SoS comes to SBI keep on EB. I get called to help. And you bring all those loot bags and LOLs to me and my buddies. THANKS!

• Every major guild that has joined SoR hasn’t left.
• SoR has never dropped a tier in WvW.
• SoR has only ever dropped a rank twice (both T1 2nd to 3rd).
• SoR’s Teamspeak is currently the 2nd most active TS3 server in America, and 10th world wide.
• Even though SoR isn’t “Full” we’ve rocked WvW because of our community coordination.

Why did you post those? I Remember both LoD and RG. I fought both. We had more luck with LoD than we did with RG. Tier 1 was so much work.

Both were (skilled) aggressive groups of players. Both preferred group vs group combat. Both were lacking in siege defense. RG is one of those rare groups that mastered the WvW combat.

I remember the few times we cleared LoD. I was never party to clearing RG on the map.

Because I like how they play. And the music is nice

Also, I’ve been doing my best to teach the troops here to fight like that in LOD video.

Thers used to be a very big Philippino population on SBI called [PH] Philippine Heroes. Not sure if they ard still here.
There’s a few I recognise from other guilds that still wvw.

You do realize the first few weeks SoR was in Tier 1, JQ was a powerhouse server, BG just absorbed 75% of SoS and SoR was just SoR (+ 90% of SBI and various other transfers).

A more accurate percentage of SBI forces that moved are 50% of SBI NA to JQ. 45% of SBI NA to Kaineng and 5% SBI NA to SoR.

80% of SBI Asian to SoR, 20% SBI Asian to JQ.

This was the final move when free transfers ended. WM is not included in these percentile as they left much earlier.

Think all 3 servers can get a flame train all the way around the map? If it caps at 132 on flame rams and you can only build five per x radius, you would have to somewhat space the rams apart to not have an overlay in siege. This means we’ll have like 396 flame rams to span the circumference of the map.

That would be an achievement in gw2 if it was done. When Jed and gang did it on SBI months ago, we had it from north camp to NE tower before we hit the max.

On another note Jed, have you and SF fully converted to JQ? I was thinking of starting a recall campaign for ex-sbi wvwers. Since AGG is no longer there for SF to smash and fights in T4 being more in the gvg style then skill lag zergs of t1, I thought you guys might consider.

SF guild on sbi still as the way you left it too. Miss the entertainment you bring with you every time too.

Being in SBI from the rise to the top to the fall and stability in the mid tiers I agree that battles that are not mega zerg vs mega zerg are most fun.

Currently SBI has alot of room for wvw guilds to grow solely on the fact there are close to no wvw guilds in it now. Just pockets of ppl who still love wvw going at it every day.

The fights we are having now in t4 are more in the GvG style. If you would like more of that kind of fighting you’re welcome to join us.

To see that sbi has not fallen further than it has, is due to the presence of some pre-exodus players who still bother to share thier knowledge with the rest of the server. Someone said in another thread knowing is half the battle.

There’s little doubt that we’ve outnumbered your [SBI]-led group a lot of the time (especially tonight, from the sounds of it), but it definitely didn’t look like it all of the time. The most distinct instance in my mind was when we came up our east keep road to engage since you were at our north gate and we knew there were a lot of you, but a bunch of you just disappeared one way or another. I doubt the numbers situation will get better as the week progresses, unfortunately (we had more in our BL zerg today than the weekends, oddly enough). But yeah, despite that instance and any others I wasn’t there for, you guys put up good fights during the weekend, and I’m happy for it.

One last reply before I vanish from these forums again. I knew we could not fight [DER]P led group that time because I saw thier lineup and the tactics being used.

I really really wanted to get my hammer wet becuase I’m into open field training right now but we’d probably just be lootbags for you at that time (which we were many times).

We had no mesmers. No veil. Not a single one. 1 ele. about 3-5 Heavy classes. Out of which only half was built for frontline. No necro. Hell i dont even know wtf everyone was rollign that night.

Without the basic skills I required to fight an enemy that utilized such, I felt we had to switch our tactics to hit and run.

For the record I did a headcount /supplyinfo. Less than 20. So yeah. If i can get what I need for a fight like that like the day before things might have been more exciting.

Thank you for this. I do not come on these forums but I was pulled to this by a fellow guildee. I’m glad our 2 hammer warriors made such an impact on you that you thought we were many. I’ll take it as a compliment. =)

Reading thru the rest of the posts here, you guys really give [SBI] Champs too much credit. Really we only run about 5-8 [SBI] made of mixed classes sometimes lowbies too. The rest that run with us are ppl on TS or pugs who just follow but have no clue whats going on.

We are not in the level to compete as a server at Mags overall skill level from what I see. Still in the building blocks stage.

I wish we had the right classes that i’m trying to build for WvW but that target is still far away. Our server can learn alot from Mag. I hope they do.
