However, I think we are in serious need of another ‘soldier/heavy armor’ class, because there are only 2 which is pretty limited.

Also, GW2 does not follow your time. It follows a specific time zone which might be different then yours and it was midnight nov 01/2012 when it switched so nothing is broken or wrong.

The prize was pretty sweet for monthly, but it didnt give much money at all.

Roll a full water elementalist with the proper weapons and you can still heal people, calm down.

This is happening to me too.

It happens to me at either WvWvW or against Dragons. When theres alot of players around and then sound just goes away and it starts beeping like an alarm system so loud and doesnt stop til i close game down

Yes and if its lets say 100, then the difficulty to reach 100 should be VERY VERY HIGH.

The reason the endgame in gw2 is getting so much criticism is because ITS WAY TOO EASY to get to 80. It should takes months and months and months to reach max level

Finished most the lore and books and the Norn are physically stronger then Charr.

Not sure why people are writing paragraphs to explain it lol. However, Charr do have large teeth and claws that they use to ‘gut’ their enemies several times in the lore. But strength wise, Norn take the cake by quite a distance.

Yeah it costs way too much. I love seeing the gorgeous and beautiful world of Tyria but sometimes you needa move in a hurry and its just soo expensive..

I spent 60 bucks tried to play… everyone complained about imbalance no end game… i get closer to 80 and realize this and by the time I hit 72 my guild roster is empty every week.

Loot makes a game fun. GW2 is by far my favorite game; however, look the games that are created around the idea of loot collection and how succesful they are

D3, borderlands, mass effect, torchlight, etc etc. There is something people just love about finding new items that keeps them addicted.

I’ve said it many times before, increasing loot drops after level 75 would do WONDERS for this game.

Ignore all the kitten saying its a hack. Its a utility trait, most popular one is “hide in plain sight”.

Survivability/trap/condition build is what im running and I’ve been dominating every single class ive come in contact with (minus mesmers who are a long and tough battle). Thieves have been the easiest class to kill once you realize what they are running. The more you learn how to play rangers the more youll realize how dominating of a class they are. Its unreal. The PvP i play is mostly real-team based against real skilled high ranking teams. Properly tuned rangers are a force to be reckoned with.

People need to stop crying about the nerfs and all that. If a mistake was made im sure it will be fixed in time. Learn to play with those obstacles for now, its not that much harder.

Guild wars 2 has been an absolute work of art. I’ve honestly met hundeds and hundreds and hundreds of players in-game and they have ALL been deep in love with gw2! I have not met anyone IN-GAME who disliked it. Idk how you possibly can, especially when it was just released and has so much new and interesting concepts.

Just wanted to share how brilliant a creation GW2 actually is. Beautiful underwater battles and game play, amazing in-depth character development and personalities, fantastic profession creations and advancement. The perfect community feeling with servers, gorgeous armor and weapons. I could go on and on but im sure you’ve heard it all before! I have definitely found my online-home as have millions of other people.

I hope gw2 continues to grow! Also, ignore all these cry babies! most of them work for blizzard in secret and are jealous! lol!

OP hasnt reached level 60 thats forsure.

I thought the 1-20 lvl ranger armor was really ugly looking, but then i saw all the higher level armors available and they are just jaw dropping beauty.

In the early levels you arent going to look super leet and dangerous, thats the whole point. You look weaker at early levels and the higher you get the more unstoppable you look. Armor looks amazing in this game. Play it longer before you take out the tissue boxes geez

So far the most memorable experience (and my god there have been MANY lol) has been the change of scenery in the fields of ruin when i was just exploring and fighting random monsters and doing the dynamic events and seeing the branded region and storm in the distance. Man, was that intimidating from afar. Entering the branded region and just looking around was crazy enough, until i finally walked towards a branded charr and just watched it for a little and decided to attack it head on only to realize that behind the hill 3 other branded creatures including a veteran were waiting! Woo, what a battle lol

22 here. Greatest MMO i have played to this date. i LOVE to see older players because they are so respectful and fun to play with.

Thankgod this isn’t WoW. 1000% less trolls in GW2 because of the annoying young kids who play.

I say, let the young players leave! (under 16) The older, the funner, the more mature!

ArenaNet has created a beautiful world! Love it and so have thousands of other players i see and play with weekly!

The world is REAL alive and living. Stop hanging on to the horrible gameplay mode of being free to travel wherever and whenever you want, its unrealistic. The whole point of contested waypoints is that Tyria is a alive, waypoints will get attacked by NPC enemies instead of them just roaming around like complete idiots around the city and not doing anything. God, there are sooo many cry babies. All these things bring amazing excitement to the game because you can be sitting in a small village buying from merchants and the next thing you know its being completely overrun by a raid of enemies trying to take over the territory.

This is an absolutely beautiful concept, and forces players o find different routes. It is amazing, and something every other game was to LAZY to care about.

Learn to be good at this game and all you really need is a teammate to help you reclaim everything

This game is skilled based in sPVP. PVE is for fun and being casual.

The vast majority are enjoying the game immensely.

Ranger is the second most popular profession in GW2. And the fact that people are using more eng. and necro’s is amazing, I hate when people just use the same classes. More diversity = better.

It just goes to show that this game is constantly growing. Literally, 10-12 rangers have been replacing every player who decides the ranger isn’t for them. BOTs are an issue but thats the game developers problem, not yours. They don’t steal your loot so no reason to complain, just play and let ArenaNet handle it.

Rangers are amazing. Before this game was even released they made sure to let players know that this game is skill based. If you cant use a profession its because you’re doing it wrong! Simple and easy.

I don’t mind people adding and ill give them builds or tips on them but im not making threads so that everyone can jus copy each other. Find out for yourself..

Again Diab, you have done nothing to reply to my responses because you clearly understand how wrong you are and are just trying to push your wrong-beliefs on other people. The marketing data you used is completely wrong for a few reasons but ill give you the main one; Twitch is generally geared towards the streaming of competitive environments. CS:S, 1.6, Starcraft, LoL, etc. Guild wars 2, and every other casual MMO will ALWAYS be at the bottom for those sites. So will everything else communication related until GW2 becomes a competitive game. (Paid leagues/tournaments, ofcourse)

The games population is so obviously growing due to how populated the servers are becoming over the past week. GW2 is in an absolutely fantastic position and its popularity growing in EVERY other gaming community on the internet.

Dont be tricked guys. Almost 99.1% of the things Diab is saying are completely irrelevant and untrue and his only defense is “You have your head in sand”.

So you go to another games website, and try to tell them this game is better? Im sure that went over well…… Going to another video games website and saying a different game is better is like insulting someones baby- they are not going to like what you have to say, and probably be offended. If you expected anything other than defensive remarks, then you must be very young or new to the internet.

This game has a lot of support. Period. Majority positive review and reception. Also, the game has respectful developers who actually participate with the community and acknowledge issues.

The game has not even posted its first major update yet. That will be telling about how the game will be supported further down the line. Only a week to go and then we will see what is in store for the future.

Who said anything about another games website? I have a huge pool of friends that play MMO’s both from real life and ones that I have met over the years playing other MMO’s and I’m telling you right now this game is not doing well in the MMO community. Yes, it has reviewed well but it is not appealing to the majority of the MMO gamers out there.

Like I said I’ve seen this so many times before in games like Aion, Warhammer, Rift, Tera etc. and it’s always the same thing. The very small segment of the MMO community that likes the game sticks their head in the sand and denies denies denies. The only difference is this time I actually like the game in question and want to see it succeed but I know that it will fail if something doesn’t change real quickly and it might already be too late. Not many people are likely to return to a game they’ve already decided they don’t like.

Again, you are using unreal examples to prove your point. The fact that you are saying you have friends who have drifted away from this game proves nothing because I probably have double the amount who have stayed to play while more are joining.

Almost every world in GW2 is at max limit and you usually have to wait in line to even enter because of how many people are playing each server. Literally every other MMO in the market lacks in comparison to the gameplay of this game

Without an absolute doubt one of the best entertainment investments I’ve made in a long time. Love GW2, Love ArenaNet because of how passionate they are about this beautiful creation, and love the world of Tyria itself!

Loot always helps a game.

Just look at the Diablo/Torchlight/and Borderlands series. Those games are literally BUILT around loot drops and are insanely successful. There is just something to players about finding useful items all the time that is so fun.

I really think the rate of exotic and rare drops increasing would do wonders for this game

Nayru, “Skill” is heavily required to be dominant as a ranger in both PVE and sPVP. Those players who are constantly complaining about the uselessness of rangers have not developed the proper skill required to play with that class.

I kill almost EVERY class at almost every encounter with my ranger and i have an absolute blast doing so. Do i get destroyed sometimes? hell yeah, but i sure put up a good fight doing it and even dieing and saying GG at the end is fun.

Is the ranger glitched? Without a doubt, so is every other class in some way or another but who cares, players who have skill and are on good teams will be good REGARDLESS of those obstacles.

You need to develop skill first, then you will see how fun it is to play a ranger. So less QQ more PEWPEW! Properly tuned rangers are a force to be reckoned with.

I’m not exactly sure if im using the same internet as you are OP. Almost every other gaming forums/website that i associate myself with always has fantastic responses to GW2.. IGN/gameradar/g4/mmotribune/mmorpgforums; Everyone reacts very positively to this games mention because of how new and fresh it is.

And remember, There will always be people who are critical of games, but it doesn’t mean they are right lol. Almost all my friends have completely left WoW and come to this game so clearly its doing something right. (except those 1 or 2 diehard blizzard fans ofcourse)

This game does everything new and fresh, and you should try and get used to it because something tells me that MMO’s that will be released from now on will be copying a lot of GW2’s ideas
