This is either a bug/glitch or Poorly phrased in game. You should be able to get credit for the Evon + Kiel achievements even after you completed your 5th daily (5/5- as there are actually 11 dailies). If it’s not a bug, then just rewrite caption so it is CLEAR and not confusing/ misleading.

Is this game (for those that Role play) is it URP or SRP? For all that is said about TC being the “unoffical” RP server it sounds much more like its a SRP server then anything else.

I can confirm this is a glitch or poorly phrased explanation, because another daily my 8th “Daily Mists Invasion Defender” also did not qualify for the achieve. Please rewrite definition so that it is clear- if other dailies do not qualify after you get your 5th daily completed.

I am referring to the way it is phrased -Dailies- there are 11 of them today. You only need to do 5 of those 11 for your Daily achievement completion. The rest should also count toward the Evon and Kiel Achievements because of how it is currently phrased in game.

I Just completed Daily Kill Variety with the Ellen Kiel Supporter Buff on and did not receive credit for the “Kiel Every Day” Achievement. It doesn’t specify that if you already completed 5 daily tasks and got your daily achievement done the remaining others won’t count. There are usually 11 dailies you can do per day, but only 5 need to be done for daily credit. But the Living World Support Ellen Kiel+ achievement says u can “Complete Daily Achievements while supporting Ellen Kiel”. So there for it suggests the remaining dailies SHOULD count towards this achieve- but it did not work for me.

i have all eight professions. every playable race. world completion,2 alt banks. finished my 2nd legendary but am now bored of this game.

What i want to see are new maps rolling out with this new living story content- for instance, Aetherblades could of had a whole new map for themselves, their hideout, their sanctuary could have been new sections accessible during the intro launch of that release and at the tail end the entire new map could have opened up- more content and lore and things to explore. I’d like to see this considered for future living story ideas. Like with past Living Stories “Flame and Frost” I thought they were opening new map sections in the “Far shiver peaks+ Blood legion homelands” region. It would have been a good fit.

With all this new content (and the whole reason i bought the game) and the one thing they still aren’t doing – rolling out NEW MAPS! I like to explore and would be nice to go along with this ever growing living world- an ever EXPANDING one too! ! new map every month would be awesome- but in reality a new map or two every 3-6 months would be okay. I assume future expansions will do that, but yeah i don’t want to wait with all the other stuff their doing I’d like to see permanent maps introduced to the game. There are areas there already. I’d like to think that we currently just see a very small section of the planet, and this map we don’t fully have access to yet. You could just keep expanding it. I’m not up on the lore or anything- but heck just add more planets too
All fun aside, I’ve been waiting for new map content access since November 2012 and was surprised you couldn’t go everywhere on the map when i finished my map completion- /that was a big let down

It would be nice if you made the option to return an item you just bought- within 1 hour. Maybe you made a mistake or after careful planning realized you made one, or want something esle. The limited ability to return an item you just bought with karam, laurels, w/e would be nice to see.

Just completed thanks guys! had 166/167 for what seemed like forever- was missing Calx’s Hideout near Parnna’s Gate Poi in the south east of the map. Have to help Parna out there to get gate to become active. If she’ standing there as a merchant have to wait until she becomes an event again, if gate is not open.

Got this message a couple times for standing still after race was finished. Then i was recoloring my gear and i got kicked to character screen- was standing still no more then 1-2 mins??? then i couldn’t log in from character screen and had to reboot the game. if this is a fix from the last mini game to prevent peeps from joining and going afk… way to go, but you shouldn’t have it after they finish the race. there’s no need to be constantly moving at this point!

Waste of 2 hours for me. I have more important things to do with my time than to run around getting beat up by a boss I can’t damage. Lord forbid I try and help a downed team mate. It can be tough without dieing 20 + times to get through it. You seem to have thrown away many of the game play that made GW 1 so enjoyable and more respectful of my time. Hard is one thing but banging my head against a wall is another.
Boss taking no damage because you are not doing it right! (by now i hope you know this)gotta remove those stacks.
Dulfy.net has nice strat guide to explain this. But ultimately if you choose to stay in a dungeon on one fight for a long amount of time, i hope its because you are enjoying yourself. If not, get out and go look up the fight to see why it wasn’t working for you. You don’t have to waste your time getting frustrated. The game is meant to be enjoyable- if you think its not, don’t play it. simple.

This was a rather easy straight forward run on opening day. (like always puggin it) Get in a pug, listen to how others sound by what they say/type/ how they say it-determine if you are in a “seemingly” decent/experienced, teamwork, fun group of players vs. Juvenile, big headed, pricky fail ones(get out quick!). For me it was it was easy. Good group, failed attempts but got up n tried again. No QQ’ing, Everyone kept their heads, (knowledge of previous dungeons/ JP puzzles helped to figure out this AR dungeon with no guide)1 run, finished. done. Went back later with friends/ guild mates to finish achievements. Easy Peasy

PvP in a PvP area is not griefing.
it is called playing the game as it is intended.achievements are not entitlements.
The issue is that a large amount of PvE’ers etner attempting to get a PvE achievement. Knowing this, players will sit (having already finished the puzzle themselves) WILL SIT at the top of the arena or in other areas and ambush players. They don’t put in effort. They literally sit and farm people because they can’t get their badges in a fair fight, or perhaps just like to make other people’s lives miserable. If this is intended play, then Anet is more sadistic than I previously thought.
Heh… people who sit and farm aren’t really good pvper’s nor do they care its fun for them, this is a game. (They’ll probably agree with what i say up to a point. This might be it.) But i agree some what, especially when you don’t attack enemies and think it is a temporary peace time(lol) cause we both want chieve, until you wander into a pack of “Hey lets get em!!! yay! 15 on 1! that guy sucks!!! Muwahahahahhaha” players… lol children…. they have so much fun. and when peeps from your server start this guess what happens…..
If this is what anet wants… then i guess they know this is the result. But you don’t need this for the mini, its just chieve points. Part of the game is pvp- so it is included.
Although because “Daily PVP” is separate from the “Daily” so too should this achievement be.

Just think, if a dynamic Aetherblades event like this happened…
You could see air ships slowly approaching high in the skies above just before events, (like the Shatterer in the skies above Blazeridge Steppes ) but would be constantly visible and then would quickly descend on different locations, raiding places.
It just always seems kinda sad when this new content goes bye bye, Aetherblades especially seem like longer lasting content or could become new mobs(maybe on new maps ^hint hint^) that could be added forever. But we will see i guess….

Good for them, bad for everyone else…. wonder how many normal and casual players they lose over this?i am a casual player and i for won love the new dungeon design and hope we see alot more challenging content, casual players really enjoy challenging content we just dont have access to as much time as “hard core” players. just because where casual doesnt mean we want face roll content i hope the make future dungeons which your unable to complete first attempt…. so to Anwar just because ur casual doesn’t mean you should want afkable content just learn the strat and man up

It’s hard because a single person can screw it up. Similar to the jellyfish and dredge fractal boss, this fight is fairly easy if everyone stands where they need to stand, but if a single person is in the wrong location, Mai will rarely get hit by cannon fire and it will become an arduous battle of attrition.
This is where communication and teamwork come into play and where “QQ’ing” at peeps kills a run. ~expect deaths and have patience, you’ll get it done~

With all of these comments I’m sure there are some helpful ones for those having trouble.
First off this dungeon is not “Too hard”. If you are running it for the first time or (just did) and did not read any strategy guides you “may” of had some difficulty. The FIRST BOSS fight is by far the toughest of this dungeon -but can be fun- for teamwork orientated parties, not so much for “bigheaded-impatient-bad ones”.
Second- Knowing the strategy for last boss helps a lot. Avoiding ground aoe and using utilities properly is critical too. as always Dulfy.net- makes it simple, head there if having problems before you come post here.

world map will say 99% even after u get gifts if previous completed maps have added stuff since u last finished it. same thing happened to me. Open your world map up and make sure the % is 100 for every map. if not something new was probs added there. like this POI here

You click on Tigg, then you click on “I’ll bet on your birds” then Tigg tells you when you make a bet on a bird, —>"All right choose one of five racers for the next race, and make it quick. Once you make a bet don’t leave the area, doing so will forfeit any bets made or any winnings earned." --→you probably didn’t read this. you just dumped some money down and walked away. Your fault. AGREED. When opening the pinata at same time as someone else the pinata disappears and no lootable candy in my bags. And as i understand it, that’s it for you, they won’t respawn for this toon.

Does anyone know of any website like Orrmaps.com but for the rest of Tyria? Yes nodes respawn and reset at each server reset. But I’m looking for a map you can make yourself like orrmaps. You can mark yourself then jump on alts and run same route would be more simple. There are some world node maps, but i believe those are very outdated. Any ideas?

You can solo this one if you’re good enough. Nothing in it requires 5 players to be present. You want a challenge right? This is a challenge.
What percentage of the playerbase could solo this do you think? Under 5% at best. My party wiped 8 times on the 2 end bosses before we completed it. I spent most of my time on the run to stay alive and was rarely able to do any damage. All of the others went down multiple times, but when they were up they did decent damge, enough to complete it eventually.
They don’t need it. It’s a well designed dungeon with an epic boss fight. Personal preference on your part is just that. If you want solo play, go play an offline game. And it’s not like you can’t get a random group in less than a minute anyway.
It is not a well designed dungeon when it excludes players natural playing preferences. That is poor design. Players then miss out or are forced into playing in a manner that is not fun for them. There is no reason for dungeons not scaling with the number of players, even a single player, especially since Arenanet have already demonstrated they can do this easily enough.
I think its a well designed dungeon, fun to play, wish it was going to be here permanently. The dungeon does scale you up to 80 (“The Molten Facility is a level-80 single-path dungeon experience where players fight alongside Rox Whetstone and Braham Eirsson. All players who enter are scaled up to level 80”). We ran a pug with four 80’s and one 70 just fine. Final boss fight- (Bosses looked epic btw-gratz to designers) easy to complete. imo. Went in knowing nothing about it, completed it in one run.

- for instance, In the Achievement panel under Living Story if you roll your mouse over “A Rallying Flame” it says “Commemorate the completion of the Flame and Frost Story arc in Lion’s Arch, Hoelbrak or the Black citadel.” but it doesn’t tell you how or when. It should restate the first paragraph above* to make it simple and clear.

This achievement can only be earned during the epilogue, which starts on Sunday, May 12 at 12:00pm Pacific and remains active until Thursday, May 16 at 12:00am Pacific. You can earn this achievement by interacting with a bonfire in either Lion’s Arch, Hoelbrak, or the Black Citadel.

For those that like to play the game “in-game” and not see spoilers on the wiki (or that don’t know about the wiki like i didn’t till a couple weeks in.)sad, yes i know.) I prefer to play the game, in-game and not have to research through multiple forum posts about what is going to happen. All content/ necessary information to complete active in-game stuff should be made available in-game imo. I constantly have to go outside the game to figure out what’s going on. Previous MMO’s i’ve played never had to do this as much.
