still viable in zergs and gvg situations. It will be even more viable now lol, especially gvg and zergs. Double endure pain + double stability while also slotting crack shot mastery.
Also still viable for roaming if u dont care for warrior sprint, I used to love warrior sprint because of rush + whirlwind + bulls charge extra movement speed.
I thought about the placement of hammer mastery in discipline. I know for sure I wont be using this trait because i rather be using burst mastery for constant pressure against enemies.
When new traits come out, I will use : 60606,
Peak performance, GS mastery, berserker power
dogged march, armored attack, cleansing ire
warrior sprint, Destruction of empowered, burst mastery
Can replace DoE for brawler recovery if too many incoming condis.
Compared to my last build, this will ensure more dps from our gs and since im always using burst skills in my hammer/gs roaming builds, I will always have uptime of the berserker power boost. I will be just missing the cooldown of my skills for hammer but I can live with that.

New longbow/gs build idea:
60066
Peak performance, GS mastery, berserker power
Leg specialist, Burning arrows, vigorous focus
Warrior sprint, Brawler recovery and Heightened focus
Have 1 cleansing sigil on longbow
Mix of celestial and zerkers armor + hoelbrak or strength
Or a standard 60606 build for gs/longbow with double endure pain and CI
i cant wait to test these builds out.

You decided to make our burst skills to share cooldowns, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? I can only focus on using 1 burst skill at a time, I cant do back 2 back. Whats the point of burst mastery + adren on weapon swap.
Calm down a bit..from what I understand you can still switch weapons and use back to back. The cd now applies to each adrenaline tier per weapon. I think this means you can’t use both tier 3 burst and tier one without cd on the same weapon, but you can use bow and greatsword burst right after each other.

If this is true then we can still do lvl 2 bursts and switch to rifle or axe>fury signet for +15% dmg just like it is currently but more tactics involved. Im fine with this!

i roam in wvw without cleansing ire, i use axe/gs, longbow/gs…………every weapon warrior can use
yes its nice to have CI but its frustrating cleansing conditions against people who keep their distances or people who massively stealth all the time or spam blinds and/or block ur burst skills.
I use brawler recovery + 1 cleansing sigil on weapon swap. Cant wait to utilitize this + cleansing ire when new traits come out.(effectively)
hmm I use gs lb 62006 now maybe changing to 60206 with dogged march. I use brawler recovery + 1 cleansing sigil (on weapon swap) so remove 2 condis when i switch to longbow and 1 more when switched back to gs. I fought a couple of dire thieves with this and i must say…..not bad!!!!!!!!
Obviously you can run other weapons with this but im too lazy to put cleansing sigil on other weapons.
gs/axe+ shield would be nice too. 6/0/0/2/6(leg specialist). + brawler recovery and the axe mastery (critical hits grants adren).
obviously rifle gs is nice too. You can add sigil of cleanse and brawler recovery as well but usually i take burst mastery because of numbers
i like numbers on rifle
I am mostly a wvw player and anet is encouraging me to soon quit this game but I will sit through this battle of balance. I know for sure now ANET has no clue of the current meta of Wvw. Its mostly condition builds that are more widely seen. I have been seeing more influx of condition guards, thieves, engineers and mesmers. I rarely spot zerkers variance of these classes in wvw now a these days when you compare to the sheer amount of condition builds.
Well why not right? You can spec your character with a dire equipment and be more tanky than your enemy, you have more survival and lots of passive damage….oooo low risk!
Well anet you just messed up and about to even buff these people even more and discouraging players like me. Forcing me to play the meta and not a balanced game.
Before you make such big discussions make sure you dont forget about the other half side of Guild wars 2. WvW. I know you guys have forgotten(lol @ removing guard stacks soon because new players are having hard time to adjust. I am just as fine with no guard stacks on my alt account and I see no problem. Maybe your ANET players need to get a bit better and stop QQing and bringing such ideas up for the design team).

New traits will be coming out soon for all classes, 6/6/6.
New condition changes will be coming out soon for all classes.
We will get + 76 to each base stat instead of gaining attribute stats from choosing specific trait line(so no more +300 power from having 6 pts in strength for instance)
We will have less passive healing from healing signet and adrenal health minor trait(because of no healing power stat gain)
I have 5 warriors, i main warrior and i play only warrior(have lvl 2-3 of other classes for testing purposes). I mainly WvW, I was in Henge of denravi and now recently transferred to crystal desert. My ingame name is Hero Pride(main warrior).
I roam and zerg bust on warrior. I run multiple builds such as rifle/gs,hammer/gs, longbow/gs, longbow sword/wh etc….. all in wvw
I will lose my +30% condi duration from strength traitline when maxed out. (Okay i can deal with this)
I will have less condi pressure with my longbow(condition changes) when running a hybrid build of zerkers + celestial and full zerkers. ( I cannot deal with this)
I have cleansing ire proc on hit to cleanse condi, okay Longbow can proc it without hitting people. Im fine with this but other weapons, u need to hit people to cleanse conditions and since condition builds are further getting even MORE buffed(yes more buffed as current state of dire gives u a low risk high reward outcome).
OK now on to rifle, I have to give up warriors sprint + mobile strikes to get my crack shot trait.
OK now on to hammer, I have to choose between merciless hammer or burst mastery. ( I have dueled enough times and roamed many times with 1 or the other and all the time when I had both, I ended up doing much better because burst mastery + merciless hammer has an intense amount of synergy which helps keep up my stun pressure on enemies)
OK now on to axe, I have to choose between axe mastery or berserkers power.
Ok ok, all these choices wow. Im fine with these changes actually! but then came the information of condition changes of how they will be buffed (doing more condition damage above 700 condi dmg)
New changes will open up more condi cleanse for warriors, cleansing ire+brawler recovery + burst mastery + sigil of cleansing.
New changes open up perplexity warriors running hammer in their condi builds( still viable but soon it will be more viable)
New changes merge forceful gs and slashing power(nice!)
Lots of double endure pain builds
Encouraging the usage of physical skills such as bulls charge
TLDR
We lose power(our burst) ( i know its balance but i only include this because of the condi buff coming up soon)
We gain more opportunities for condition builds(perplex warrior + hammer)
ANET encouraging condition builds even more than ever for wvw and want zerkers to suffer. (great answer for pve but I play wvw, opposite reaction)
Condi this condi that…….condi everything( I really believe anet forgot about whats wvw and what is the current meta of wvw)

If you think I missed out on something very important, please feel free to post below and discuss. I am not here to argue of what I know and believe in but want anet to see the possible upcoming of these changes. If i did truly have made a mistake in my posting and someone mentions of it. I will look into it and get back to you with an honest reply.

My first post on the forums because this is the most bad move i ever see some company make.
Firstly, they want us to 100% map complete certain maps or kill certain bosses to unlock the traits. COOL, i like the concept. They also allow you to have a choice of buying your traits for about 360 skill points to unlock them all(plus about 43 gold). Wow that is a lot of skill points.
Secondly, I have returned from quitting this game for 2 years. ALL my traits are unlocked. Why did they not reset? So they wont kitten us(the beta/early) players off? IF you will go along the path to FORCE people to either buy traits with skill pt+ gold or hunt your traits down then ANET should have forced our old characters to reset as well.
You are discouraging new players. I remember this game as easy to play early levels and to have a lot of fun. I have created a new character(btw its the same class as my previous
) and I am not having fun at all. I am grinding non stop.
Now if you quote me and tell me if I cannot handle guild wars 2 type grind i should kitten off. Well, I have done worse grind in my gaming lifetime but it was the normal. Its not supposed to be the ‘normal’ to grind a game where it was advertised as non grind.
Also from a different point of view, this new trait system is probably just implemented to retain new customers so these new customers will have a motivational play due to new goals they will/have set for themselves(i.e: oh need to save up 20 skill pts and 3 gold for a certain trait)
