+1 for more modes.
I don’t want them to remove conquest because some people seems to like it, and it could even be a mode with some conquest mode in it. Let’s say you got conquest points that gives a team buff for a short duration. And for upgrades there could be certain points on the map which you could upgrade, like you could pay gold that you get from capturing the points and killing other player to buy turrest like outside the forts in www that could be placed on certain points on the map.
But the main objective is to take out the enemy village.
There could even be some npc hiring with gold so you would have to choose where to spend the gold.
Something like that is something i would like to see

@SSalp absolutely, my gf need those buttons to click on but for me i just need the information about my hp, if my skills are on cooldown and so on. It could probably be even simpler but i’m not good at drawing.
So a option for a simpler ui which are only there to give me information, and are centered around the battle so i don’t need to look away from what i’m fighting would be nice:)
Even moving the hp bar to the top of the screen would help me since i mostly fight bosses that i can see above my character on the screen.

Made a adjustment to see how it would look, and it’s just a suggestion as a alternative combat ui. But i would also like to be able to move healtbar higher up or to the side of the char since that’s also the only information i need since i also use keybinds.

While I think this could be a good idea (It doesn’t affect me, but I see where you’re coming from), I doubt anything like this will happen. Anet have stated that the UI is designed in a way to have as little UI on the screen as possible. They want their players to play the game, to see the action in front of them instead of playing the UI with a screen filled with UI all over the place covering half of the fight infront of you.

As for the red health on your character, I disagree with that part and it would completely destroy the idea of collecting dyes in the game to colour your character how you want to. This would force everyone to bascially have red armor in combat which wouldn’t be good.

I can see that with the coloring of the char, and i was thinking of another design for that. It could instead be an inner bar on the right side with the icons outside of it, may get time to see how it will look later today.

It will take less space than the current UI. And my idea is that since Anet want us to watch the screen not the ui, then the infomation we need should be place so we can see it while also looking at the combat .
Right now i have to look down and sometimes i miss incoming attacks since the combat is so fast. That’s why i want to see if this can help since all the information u need will be centered on the screen.
And while not in combat they could shade the ui down.

Hi, one of the things i would like improved is that in combat i often have to look at the bottom of the screen to see my hp and skills cooldown’s. So i had an idea of how i could instead try to look at the center of screen when in combat to get that information and it’s just a quick draft but i hope it’s clear enough to show my suggestion.
It would also be possible to show the boon icons abowe the char and the bottom bar can then be removed.
I would like to see this as an option for combat because it would make it easier because i wouldn’t have to look down anymore in combat.
Also skills that are on cooldown will be faded and fade in more when the skill become ready to use.
Also the idea is that the character will be less red the more healt he has so if he’s not hurth he will not be red at all. But when the hp get to 25% the last 25% of the character will start to blink red to indicate low hp.

I hope they will implement more modes, what i’m hoping for is a mode where u can have the points but that they gives the team buffs instead.If you capture them you get increased power and precision or regeneration and so on, while the prime objective is to take out the other teams base. I don’t like conquest because everything is a rush to get the points which for me feels like taking down a boss but u have only 5 minutes to do it. I have never liked modes which are time based so i would really like to see a mode with multiple objectives and a end objective that u have to take out.

What if they just made lvl’s account wide? You level up to 80 and then if u create a new chat it will be lvl 80 and u get the skill points and traits for him. Since leveling is like a tutorial i don’t think u should need to do it more than once since at lvl 80 u already know what to do. And i know that would mean less players in the low lvl zones but that’s something that should been improved with making it worth going there for lvl 80’s.

Also a thing i would love to see is that the pet’s f2 affects the ranger too for all pets. Then we could create some escape mechanics like the jaguar f2 would give us the possibility to stealth. It could also be a pet with a f2 skill that alow the ranger to instantly be where the pet is. The rangers have already way to little escapes and ways to disengage from fights.

For a class to have perma stealth it would have to be like eve in lol imo. She get a ring around her and everything that comes inside that ring can see her and if she then enters combat she loose stealth. I hope a profession like that comes later when culling is fixed, and it won’t be op because you will be visible if u come too close so u can’t sneak past mobs but u can follow a player.

I don’t think rangers are balanced in dungeons. The pet requires tons of micro-management just to stay alive, which derails from your damage along with the pets damage. They also aggro random stuff that you don’t really want.

I completely agree with your last statement. Until that happens I’ll be on my ele.

The micro management is what i think is fun. But if they fix it so we can get increased damage with pet stowed it would also fix the aggro random stuff in dungeons, or not take out pet while it stowed even when we take damage. But i also find the pet usefull in dungeons sometimes, be it ressing downed players while i still aggroing or the other way around. But also if the pet got decreased aoe damage it would help, or that the pet dodge when i dodge would also be very helpfull when it comes to keeping the pet alive in boss fights.

My opinion is that ranger is balanced in pve, i have no problems except some bugged skills but overall it’s good. Problem for me is www/pvp and i hope we get some updates for that. The main problem is that the pet’s are way to slow so we miss out on alot of damage and the pet’s f2 skill is not responsive enough in www. And while on top of a tower i need to put on guard to be able to use my pet or if i choose not to i will loose alot of damage. I would really love to see that when we stove the pet we get increased attributes and that would fix alot of issues with the ranger.

I know this would never happen, but what i would like to see is that the dragon encounters and other big events would be controlled by the devs to some degree. It would allow the encounter to be completely dynamic since it wouldn’t be scripted but of course the one controlling it could only use the skills the dragon have with cooldowns.

Love this but some times i like having my pet, so my suggestion for this is that you can become one with your pet and get the pet skill and bonuses when you put the pet away. This would be awesome because sometimes the pet are really usefull be it reviving people while i’m kiting the mobs and such, but when i’m on top off a hill or tower my pet is useless unless i pick guard. This get a +1 from me

This mode will not work. Even if you enjoy ganking, (which I don’t personally enjoy) no one likes being the subject of one, and many, many people will be the subject of gankings and quit the mode. The reasons why it won’t work because of the combat is as follows: It requires you to be in a group with many people who will most likely accidentally hit you and kill you while in combat. If you planed ahead for this somehow, (by making teams, which is not a ffa) you would essentially create tons of zergs and whoever is in the biggest zerg will win.

I disagree with u:) I think u are focusing way to much on the ganking and that is not my main thought about the mode, and i don’t like being ganked but with the scaling it won’t be so easy to gank. Yes there will always be someone that goes around in pvp to take single targets and that’s already happening in www and pvp, but with this u don’t have to turn it on if you are gonna do some boss fights or general pvp. It could even be unable to turn on before you reach lvl 30.

The grouping would work very well. Yes it would not work to run in zergs ofc and that’s the beaty of if, if i wanted to run in zergz and “whoever is in the biggest zerg will win” i would play www. Let’s say i want to run around with 3 friends and me and 2 of my friends want’s to tag themselves for pvp but the last one don’t want to pvp at all, that would still work fine and the one who is not tagged for pvp can then be able to watch the matches instead if there would be some.
Since i can hit my friends i would have to be better to communicate and position with them, but it’s the same in other games with friendly fire on.

But after reading your posts i understand that this mode is not for everyone of course. And as i said if it got in the game you are not forced to enable the tagging at all, but it’s a suggestion that i and maybe other people would like to see:)

The issue of ganking still arises in this if many people choose to enter this mode instead of pve.

So then the people who love ganking will be able to and those who don’t want it don’t have to touch it at all since they don’t need to be pvp tagged. It’s all about options right? U won’t be ganked unless u put on that u want to be able to pvp, it’s almost the same as duelling only more dynamic.

I would love to see a elo system in the game and that would take me back to pvp since then i would get something to work towards:) Also love the idea for a moba style map or even better mode where u can buy gear within the match, and start on lvl 1 and increases to lvl 30 and then unlock the elite slot:)

I would also like a lane mode like in lol where u got some progression within the match. I also think the matches don’t last long enough, i would like to have atleast 1 mode where it’s only 1 match not 3 and the match lasts for approx 20 minutes.

i’ve played many games where open world pvp existed and i’ve always enjoyed it tremendously. if you get ganked you call in reinforcements and it creates a massive battle.

of course they could also create some PVE servers for the carebears. or simply have it be a map you can choose to enter.

I personally like that all PvP is sanctioned off to its own separate maps. It gives a sense of unity – of which the story actively promotes – without actually barring off the ability to engage in PvP. While I agree that certain areas of Tyria would be absolutely astounding to PvP in, I can’t use that to justify spoiling what ANet’s already set in place, because as it is, it’s quite nice.

Correct me if i’m wrong but wasn’t the races in war earlier and even though they decided to unite there will always be some that is a black sheep and don’t won’t to unite right? I don’t want that everyone goes around killing each other ofc but i miss that i can be more evil if i want:)

Hi, i will first say that i love this game but i got a suggestion that i think will give more freedom. My suggestion is that u can tag yourself for pvp, and then u can pvp with others in the pve world. This mean that people that don’t won’t to pvp will not get affected at all, but they can watch some fun fights.
People that turn on tagged for pvp will get a sword icon above their head,
and can then attack other people that have the tag too.
I also think that when u untag u have to wait 10 mins before the tag is gone, the reason for that is so u can’t just suddenly tag for pvp and gank a guy and then just untag. Another reason why i think this would be cool is because of the downscaling so u can’t just 1 shot other people that are tagged.
This will also give the option to duel, u can either find a empty space with the one u want to duel, or u can group up with him and go into a home instance.
It will also give the option to have big fights between guilds.
I would love this option because then if i’m tagged i need to also watch out for other players, and it would make some awesome landscape to fight in.

It will also help with another problem that i usually have in other mmos, that is the popup dialog that ask if i want to duel all the time. Often when i have been doing some pve stuff people always came up and spammed me with duel dialog, and this will take care of that:)

Hope this is something other people would love to see too:)

Remove health regen in pvp/www

The reason i want to to get rid of this is that in fights people just go away for a while and then come back with full health. It also mean that healing fields don’t become as important as it would without it. Imagine in www if u are attacking a keep. Each hit would be more important and people with healing would be more needed and u would have to be more carefull. I like that everyone have healing and i don’t want it removed. There could also be NPC’s that give u full health back f.example in the starting zones.

It would maybe mean that u would care more about your health and it will maybe be more kills overall which means more badges in www.
For roamers it also would be more fun since they would then get time to heal and can then take out people with low health in the back since they won’t suddenly regen back to full hp without using healing skills.

This would give healing skills more importance overall.

In spvp/tpvp this would also give more depth since u would decide if u should go back and heal at base or continue on.

Would also be great with healing pots that u could buy with karma.
Hope this is something that would fall in taste.

Can't use pets underwater in spvp

The entire pet menu is disabled when i’m under water. Do anyone else have this problem? I hope this is a bug since our pet is a big chunk of our dps.
