Necro can also take a trait for +50% fear durration so 150% fear duration total.^^ Sad Necro fears are only 1 second tho when war and theif both get triple that length ; ;.

Necro with 100% cd dur + 50% fear duration = 2.5 second fear(aoe)
War or theif with 100% cd duration = 6 second fear (aoe)(Dragon length T.T)

On the bright side BiP is a 1m bleed with 100% duration, and bleeds from Mark of Blood on staff is kinda redic if you have staff cooldown trait^^

Although I think Mesmer has the most annoying/best down state, my glass necro’s #3 does more damage then theirs easy if you sit in it^^.

Jus a quick picture for a comparison~
Glass sPvP(lol) necro’s downed#3 crits for 1330 and pulses 5 times.
So 6,650 damage, not to mention it adds 20 seconds of poison which is another 2000k damage minimum at like no condition damage.

Just wanted to mention I found a work around to get past this bug^^.
When you first enter the Bar, talk to the Suspicious Charr, and not the Bartender to get them to leave the bar. I jus did that and they never got stuck or stopped~

They all have chests at the end, and their rewards vary depending on where they are^^. The rewards really arn’t worth mentioning tho unles you’re super lucky, more so jus for the fun~ Think I’ve gotten a rare form a JP like once a month T.Tww. I only do the wvw’s repeadly for siege

With 20 points in Blood Magick, you can get both with the 50% siphoning^^.
Thats 37 HP every hit, and 87 hp from every crit~
(37 from vampiric + 50 from Vampiric Pre)

Those two together on crit almost heal as much as a thiefs Signet of Malice ^^. Also it procs off AoE Marks an Wells too. So if you hit 5 people with your mark of blood, and crit on all 5, you get 435 hp back^^.

It procs on Wells’ pulse too, and you can even take the Wells Siphon trait to add even more hp stealing power, buuht wells have a very large recharge and already proc these traits enyways~

If you use Gastly Claws and crit all 8 times you heal yourself for 696 damage and deal that much more Its a cheap way to makeyourself somewhat tanky and do a bit more damage~

It was hilarious when some Charr DB commander actually managed to ninja Garrison right from under us, literally, while we were fighting off TC. :’3 Its fun to hold “your” garrison and watch it change hands a couple times while still fighting on top of it >~<

We are exactly the same as when we left T3 weeks ago. A mindless zerg of role-players. We have no skills and we are easily distracted by pretty colors. None of our guilds are serious WvW players. Tell all of your friends and spread the word.

That’s not actually possible though, as others have pointed out the one chest per event/character/day limit doesn’t care which server you’re on. Guesting has no impact on how many chests you can get other than accomplishing some of those events are easier on more populated worlds.

Its one chest per character, no matter what server. I just did Shadow Behemoth on 3 servers in a row on one character and got one chest. IF anyone says otherwise they’re mistaken or trolling^^.

Ok, so I just found out there were only certain events that were allowing this multiple chest per char and it seems it has been fixed. I have seen nothing official about it but I have heard from some that it is no longer working. This is good news. I guess it remains to be seen whether this was the problem or whether it is guesting causing the overflows.

And here is the fix for it today.

General
•Fixed a bug with the chests that spawn for The Claw of Jormag, The Fire Elemental, and the Volcano Destroyer Boss. They are lootable once a day per character as intended.
•Fixed a bug where Daily Rewards were sometimes not being granted after completing five daily achievements.
•Fixed a recently introduced performance issue.
•Fixed various crash bugs

Well, there will still be alot alot alot of people doing dragon events right after daily rest, especially if you’re on a super populated server already~ Its not really an issue with guesting imo, its just everyone is doing events like I said in my preeevious post

Outside of Behemoth, Lyssa, and Catacombs I never did any events, now I try to do most of them so i’m already an extra person showing up on my server^^. (you use to only get blues and greens even if you did the event 5 times ; ;~)

Crystal Desert is having the same problem as TC and JQ, especially right after the daily reset. A lot of people at the events are from our server, but many, many are guesting from other servers.

Everyone’s Guesting every, on every server~! omgomgomg. Or maybe its just everyone actually feels the events are worth doing now so the entire population is playing together^^. The first event after reset on any server is going to beee paacked~

Yeah, for me the chest never shows up if you do the same DE twice with the same charater. Its 1 Chest per day per character. Maybe its bugging for some people or they’re mistaken. Guess I’ll go double check~

Its really beautiful, and ther’es alot of it you don’t always see that you have to look for >~<. Makes it fun to see loading screens, and to go exploring for pretty SS^^. I only wish you could turn fog off somtimes or zoom in first person to take pretty SS; ;~.

With the sheer attention and interest this thread generated, I hope Anet realizes how much people love treasure hunting. Final Rest was a/an unique enough skin to have people looking for it. Putting lore bound weapons/armor that are unique into rewards for completion of rare events would be a huge boon to those looking for more ‘end game content’.
I hope they see the potential for this kind of thing and build off of it. Work required: 3D modelling of new skin, testing for clipping with all races, adjust loot table and plop some hints into the world or use existing dialogue/books.

I really enjoyed having motivation to search and do DE’s I wouldn’t normally, but as someone who really wanted this staff for my own, I’m really happy the search of ‘where’ is over^^.
Tho this thread is full of alot of Q _ Q from people who were jus hoping to exploit the staff as some random thing to make munny~! bahahaa, it has now a reasonable drop rate. no 500 gold 4 youuuu, go back to pray for a precursor you can rip people off with~!

A combination of both. Super low drop rate + bugged event for the longest time^^. Even then level 80’s almos never did event~
I’m jus happy I kno where to go now, and that they buffed large chest drop rates, I hade doing dragons or this an getting all blues, barely covers the cost to teleport >~<.

I still want to believe somthing comes form Catacombs, that chest is so out of the way and huuuuuuuge~!. Glad people are finally getting it, and its from an appropriate event yays~

Melee~! Like any good War can do

Phase 1: Staff~
(Melee’s too risky with Locusts and kicks, and if you pull aggro he moves around a nd it annoys the party~)

Phase 2: Daggerdaggerdaggerdaggerdagger
-He never shadowsteps to someone right ntext to him, and his ranged throw can’t hit you.
-If he tries to kick you, walk thru him.
-Giant Aoe, douple dodge roll in shroud(or tipple with sigil of energy), then regain yoru LF fast as possible if you took damage~
***LF is the key to this phase if you mess up and get hit by this AoE, I use Spectral Wall, Spectral Grasp, and Specral walk, with the LF on use trait^^. with the Trat Grasp is about 16% life force, Walk 5% ish and Wall 5% ish, and even more if you bring a focus+dagger1. Not to mention you can quick cast the wall when he starts his giant aoe and roll thru it for protection incase you messs up

Phase 3: Daggerdaggerdaggerdagger
-He will never try to bubble you if you stand too close to him, and he no longer has a kick.
-He will never try to life siphon you if you stand too close to him if there are still people alive standing far away
-He will never aggro to you if there’s a war or guardian in your party, he loves thos, so somtimes you just have to follow him around and back stab him constantly^^
-His only attack that hits you in this phase is his large aoe where he floats, just double dodge roll(or tripple with sigil) and continue~ (Carful tho, when he lands its a knockback, and if he lands and you get knocked backed he will most likly bubble you for standing close to him, but not close enough Deahthroud stability is greate for this part^^)

Sorry for my poor typing, and I hope this helps someone who wants to try to melee him, its the greatest. I learned to do it on my war and took a while to figure out how to safly do it on necro >~<. The only difference is instead of an extra dodge and block you get a 2nd hp bar you have to fill as fast as possible, and can’t hold aggro no matter how much damage you do in melee range~

You happen to have chosen JQ, which hasn’t really had much inner turmoil or conflict, and the leadership of major guilds aren’t kittens. So it makes sense for you or me to want to stick around JQ, it’s a pretty cool server. Other people haven’t had that luxury.

Not taking any sides in this conversation, but I figured I should mention that JQ weathered a LOT of inner turmoil and conflict, and not everyone stuck around. The TW/FATE/IRNY guys left for SoR during the worst of the kittenstorm, and nobody blamed them. We’ve had a couple major guild leaders who ended up being major liabilities (who both ended up being banned from both the JQ community site and the community TS).

The JQ core who’ve been around from the beginning have stuck through as much drama crap as any other server. The only “trial” JQ hasn’t faced yet is a downward plunge in the tiers – and that is in large part due to those of us who put in massive hours to hang on to tier one during SoS’s period of dominance.

All that said I do agree JQ is a pretty cool server. :-)

Ya maybe I just don’t notice any drama because I avoid all of it. I’m not even a member of the community site (though I use the TS daily).

In any case, unless they can say otherwise it seems like the guilds leaving SoS are not leaving due to any “drama”, but merely because they are looking for a place where they can win. This kind of transfer has happened many times so far (including when many people transferred to JQ) and it will only continue to happen because so many people prioritize winning over everything else. Ya they can argue it’s for “more balanced fights”, but for the vast majority of people a “more balanced fight” is code for “a fight where we are on top”.

They should transfer to JQ, bahaha~
