These so called “few players” can go pick up Wildstar then, or play any Korean mmo in the market today. Guild Wars 2 ever since the start has been so relaxing, I don’t want to see it go along some hardcore path to get the best items that gives a significant advantage on almost all situations.

I sometimes come accross some D/D builds having 1 accessory that has toughness for WvW purposes, but everything else is the usual zerk/valk combo, what’s the point of that one item with toughness?

If you were given a one time permanent choice to trade in one of your unwanted legendarys weapon for another that you do not have and lose the account wardrobe skin along with it, what will your choice be? I’d swap my sunrise to an incinerator.

We got new faces, and I heard new hairstyles will be added sometime soon? Any links to this info?

Great guide for post patch! Just recently got back to see new changes, I can see similar info to old stuff. I also watched one of the DnT videos, so if I’m wearing 100% berserker with greatsword, rune of strength is better for forceful greatsword? And it was mentioned greatsword was nerfed? In what way (besides crit damage)?

Any predictions on what kind of gem store items might be released? Or is there some small info on reddit,? I can never find anything that website sometimes. I remember there being a festival last year too, but I skipped the whole patch completely, and I never knew what was in the gem store and if there was, who think it will be recycled into this upcoming patch soon?

Swimwear, I mean, plenty of games out there, you fight with almost bare naked clothing lol. It’s time for GW2 to take that path! My mesmer is in acolyte pants and T3 human top! that is as close it can get, but i prefer to have no skirt around.

I see a lot of old posts saying some things about it being buggy or not intended but are really old, what is the status of it now?

Mainly for PvE and dungeons. What is a good setup for a greatsword + sword/focus user?
Would superior rune of strength set work with superior sigil of strength? I am only wondering because I am retiring my warrior for mesmer and my sunrise has has superior sigil of strength and sigil of force. Swap force for endurance?

I see, I looked at one other thread in this section, similar issue and a friend got on to check her gear, she had valkyrie runes and it converted into azurite…. Guess the big patch messed up some shet that didn’t seem obvious, but became a big issue.

I clearly remembered crafting knights gear to use for WvW and after I logged in after a break, it has become soldier gear wtf??????????? I wanted to salvage it, but I can’t now.

Completely agree with some of the requests about the restrictions, having it disappear when zoning and not being able to use it in dungeons at least, seems way too kittened since it’s a harmless item with a harmless buff. I don’t understand why it has to be a buff even, it should be on until you take it off yourself or when you die.

When transmuting them, do they lose the name and the purple text and turn into whatever exotic you want the stats from? Because I want zerk stats instead of vit/tough. But I guess I can live with that.

Grind? RNG? Time to go compare to Korean MMOs that get way more repetitive, specially when it comes down to upgrading equipment for some. Guild Wars 2 has little grind effort imo and it’s easy just running COF path 1 for gold, but then again, not many folks want to do one thing for hours. Icy Runestones and Charged lodestones is all I need and it took me only a month to get the rest done so far just grinding. Reason why? Because I LIKE it and it was my decision. It may not be the best form of grind for others, but what can you expect from every game? Candy? No.

Every game has it’s form of grind, people are just against the ways legendary weapons are obtained in this game because they think legendary to be 1/1000 people to have one.

Yeah, I used to have soldier set from AC, might get another set later to play with.

I personally use 20-0-20-30-0 with greatsword/rifle, I picked up banners because I like the regen for party and such and constant dmg boost from the precision+crit dmg banner. Full knights gear, but slowly I’ll think about getting the full set of soldier stats.

I’ve worked hard for both of my legendaries, Bifrost and Sunrise. 1K hours.

I invested carefully in several items to afford my Bifrost, which I bought for 145G after the Karka event. I got it around mid November.

Throughout December I grinded hard and bought Dawn for 380G. Shortly thereafter I got dusk to drop and sold it for 575g. That made it easier to afford Sunrise.

I think I know who you are Ar…. I wont type it all!

Because a sense of progression and new shet to get that a lot of people like.

More utilities would be cool

Blade and Soul, Tera Online, Queens Blade Online (Scarlet Blade english version later), and Vindictus (mabinogi Heroes in KR) are some examples of pretty big skimpy stuff, but that doesn’t affect the gameplays at all due to the fact I played and liked them all, nothing beats Vindictus combat imo. Just terrible company Nexon NA branch lol

Just the forums I see being more negative. People in game are usually nice because most log in and want to play.

More like a bonus to me when there’s half naked or nudity in games. Look at a lot of Korean mmos lol

EVGA Precision X OSD crashes gw2 when starting up

Is there a fix to that? ever since the nvidia drivers 310.70 release, my gw2 crashes when I leave the overlay on when starting the game. So I have to leave it off but I hate that I can’t constantly look at my gpu statistics when being used while I game.

I got my dawn 4 days ago in mystic forge, and I only did it once out of sheer luck. Cost me only 10g.

Or change digital vibrance if you have nvidia rofl.. doesnt matter if it affects everything, same results from what I see

10 to all stats as in 10 vit, toughness, power, precision, condition damage, healing power, and crit damage?

I don’t mind the health pool, I usually run with the groups, and I ninja peel off people who peep their heads out a little (happens a lot kuz it’s a vast pvp zone). I switch to rifle for those crazy volleys and kill shots in the back. I normally don’t go banzai in there alone or with few others, I play defensively with offensive types of styles.

I like the utilities I’ve set for WvW, if I mess up my charge+frenzy HB, Whirlwind away a little, then I instantly swap rifle and volley+kill shot (if I get the F1 in) and it’s funny to see. The quick button mashing is a habit from Korean mmos.

I’ve opted towards greatsword because my intention was getting Sunrise GS, and luckily I’ve gotten Dawn through mystic forge in my first attempt, only cost me 10g. And rifile just because it’s funny that it’s really bursty when you set it up right.

Planning to move from glass cannon armor to knights armor with all berserker jewels. Probably work on divinity rune set too. I’m solely aiming for survivability+dps for self than support play. I’d swap out Bulls charge and frenzy for balanced stance+FGJ in PvE settings.

Yup because one time in WoW, you were able to get gear from the vendors for free and everyone was getting them, and they rerolled all the items back from players inventory. That’s an example.

Lol poor management and derives other players. A rollback would make more sense. World of warcraft by Blizzard does that when they mess up something. They just take the items away.

They can still be put in the mystic forge after they are soulbound right?

I’m on Yak’s Bend. Orr zones are pretty empty half the time, half the time I only see people wanting to do AC or FOTM on gw2lfg/lions arch, and why have prices of precursor weapons shot up so fast? Did a lot of people already lose interest?

For GPU and CPU, just curious because last time I had a ticket saying gw2 didn’t support overclocking during that time and the game would crash. I had to reinstall the OS because putting everything back on default DID NOT work.

I wear full crit damage gear and I’ve been doing fine, you need to be a little more active on warrior because that is how you live. Such as, running around, line of sighting, using CC to buy time for heals, kite and spam 1 with a bunch of mobs. Taking 5 mobs isn’t bad at all if your a defensive type warrior if you’re on the stages of leveling, a friend and I killed stuff with dooky gear that were 5-6 levels higher, but took ages and no deaths

It’s kind of annoying hearings the little squeaky grunts after every auto swing. I hope there could be a change to it, reason why I don’t play greatsword and I like greatsword and I like to have sound on, just not music in game.

20-0-0-30-20 here axe/warhorn + rifle weapons. Shout healing and warhorn cleansing for everything. fgj, omm, and sif on my bars and i’m wearing full crit gear maintaining at 110% crit damage that I rounded up (traits+gear), but not sure if there is a cap. Rarely die in dungeons mainly because ranging is a safe option!
