62 days is fast, but probably not fast as when I made Sunrise in 30 days, hit Dawn in the first mystic forge attempt on release and farmed all day

I got 4800 gems right now, but the rates are so kitten, I’m waiting on the next hyped cash shop item which will be Christmas to convert. 800 gems is only 90-95g (N)

Killed VG just fine using Staff Daredevil in a DPS slot, huge damage and CC from Physicals. Close to killing Gorseval right now with Venomshare – easy 15k+ DPS with Alacrity from our Chronomancer and nice CC from Basi.

Seems like you forgot everyone else can dps a lot better than the current state of thief with even better survivability. This won’t change until anet does anything which is most unlikely. Just because you did it doesn’t mean it’s the most optimal option because if you killed the boss, that’s because the rest of the group consisted of the better classes supporting all roles and keeping personal dps

No issues really here, DA/DD/CS 100% zerk, channeled vigor, shadowstep, signet of agility, & shadow refuge. Dodge, vault, dodge, vault. Naturally, if it’s too much knockback or some big cleave from champions/legendaries, range, it’s silly, but well it gets the job done. In open world specifically because you’re basically on your own even in a party lol

I been using Tr, CS, and DD. Tr for the extra initiative and steal buffs/utility

sPvP, WvW, and PvE?

I hate outfits being a one piece thing, I just want a part of something

What about fractals and dungeons?

It is the exact reason why thief is in the sorry position that it has been in for the past while. Three of the four do not offer discounts. The other’s web page would not load for me. You can try from other companies but be aware that you run the risk of getting scammed.

pretty baffled still that it only applies to prepurchase, o well, ill take the lost and see the streamers showing the new content before buying in the future. Just not seeing the motivation yet from all the vagueness

I want to buy it only when they take out the so called “bonus core game” to existing core game users

I personally enjoy S/D still and will continue to use it, the mobility helps a lot for my play style lol.

This is no issue period, an extra hotkey isn’t even a problem tbh, because this game doesn’t have many keys to press

Pointless bonus having an extra core game as a person who had the game since beta

Still waiting on standalone HoT without base game and character slot, those 2 aren’t needed for me and would save me because I have a lot of bills.

I’d rather pay for HoT xpac if it didn’t have the “Base Game” included when I already have it and almost everything is account bound. It would probably be $30 without the base game and I could buy a character slot with gold.

Well, I am not going to buy HoT standard edition because it includes the BASE GAME and I do NOT need another account. Why? ArenaNet has made everything account wide, therefore, a second account is pointless to its core. I have plenty of other F2P games to play and all my cash shop in those games are obtained with gold since I’m tight on money and I only spend it on something worthwhile which would be Heart of Thorns WITHOUT the base game.
