Well I can’t speak for the rest of FA, but we enjoyed ourselves this week. Sad to see FARM leaving for Eu T9. Atleast AGG won’t be the 2nd best guild on DB now that they are gone.

Hi, I have not logged on since WvW went down last night. I tried to log on today, it gets to the log in screen, looks like its about to start the download process, sits at 0% and goes ‘not responding’

Relics of Heresy [RoH] is a newly formed guild dedicated to WvW ONLY. We were formerly Vindico Knights [VK] on the server Fort Aspenwood.

We use extremely good movement combined with buildcrafting and communication to accomplish our goals. We are not concerned with PPT in the least. We are dedicated killers.

VK is scattered these days. I work nights. AC wars has sent my people into hiding until I return to NA prime time. Which is next week.

Vindico Knights[VK] is a hardcore, disciplined WvW guild of some of the most dedicated players around. WvW: We have an official raid time of 7EST-11/12 EST Every day at 6:45 we will rally in the heart of the mists, find out what the class composition is for that day, and make sure everyone has food. Then at 7:00pm EST after deciding on a borderland we will set out for the night to play WvW.

sPvP: Our official day for sPvP is Thursday throughout the day. We will play it by ear how this is carried out, but it will look mostly like this: Groups will be formed for tournaments or duels, and we will do that for most of the day. Many people in VK like to sPvP, and it’s great to have 1 day as a break from WvW to get some organized smaller scale pvp action.

PvE: Vindico Knights[VK] is a WvW only guild, and we will not be hosting any PvE events for now. However members ARE free to rep other guilds for all their guild missions and PVE needs. I am currently looking for a partner PVE guild for VK, so that all VK members interested in PVE can join that guild for missions/dungeons/fractals/farming.

Why join Vindico Knights?
Vindico Knights was started by 2 Guild Leaders of previous successful World vs. World guilds, but decided to team up to create a more tight-knit, personal, and hardcore guild where every member is a big asset to our team. Rather than relying on numbers in VK, we rely on teamwork and cohesion. In this guild you will not feel like another number on the roster, you will be a part of a smaller community of dedicated players.
We are all very active, so during prime time hours, you will always have a team of VK to play with. Every member in the guild is on a fairly consistent amount, so you will be used to playing with the same group of skilled WvW players who you will get to know quickly.

Although hardcore and determined, we are a laid back group of players and we always remember that the most important part of playing the game is having fun. We will joke around and have a good time, and we dont want members to burn out.

We will do anything we can to help you become a better WvW player, if you want advice. That means we will give you build advice for your class, help you get geared up as the new gear slowly comes out through patches, and we will give you advice on how to best use your abilities when we are in a fight.

[VK] Membership Expectations
-Members are required to have one level 80 that is fully geared with toughness. A good amount of knowledge about the role of your class in WvW is essential.
-Download and use Teamspeak 3 while in WvW. Having a mic is nice for communication, but only listening is fine as well.
-Be on fairly consistently (3/4-7 days a week) during our raid times (7pm EST – 11/12pm EST) and devoting most of those hours in WvW with the guild. We wont keep track of how often every member is on, but we want to see you fairly often so that we are used to playing with you and having you as an important part of the guild. Due to our medium sized roster, our group runs during primetime hours, so you dont have to devote the entire day to playing WvW if you enjoy other parts of the game.
-Must be willing to follow direction of whoever is in command of the WvW group. The same respect and cooperation should be shown to each commander.
-Be respectful and mature. We wont tolerate trolling or disrespect between members of the guild. We want to remain positive and friendly as a community, and we are a drama free guild.
-Represent the guild 100% while in WvW. Even during non-raid hours, members often like to roam together or do havoc in WvW when there isnt a large group going. We dont mind if you run with other guilds and groups during off hours but please make sure that you are still representing [VK]

I personally love the fact that DB showed up in this tier. They brought with them guilds that ACTUALLY want to fight. Guilds that don’t come on forums talking about fighting. Guilds that ACTUALLY fight.

So thank you DB for saving us from the boredom that was T2 Pre-DB.

[VK] has been focusing more and more on structured Guild vs Guild 20v20. We are looking for players who have experience in this department and are willing to contribute.

[VK] Vindico Knights will be doing a 10v10 with [TG] terror gaming of DB @ 8pm cst tonight. So long as the plans are still in place

Do you think the outcome of that portal would have been any different if I had not known? You stacked DIRECTLY in front of me. We saw you buffing, we saw the portal come down, we saw the mesmer running towards us. It really was just common sense that a portal was coming. It was actually good on you guys that you used it for more of a distraction than anything else. Burned 1/3rd of our CC on it.

I know he was there because I’ve spoken to him about it. If you hadn’t used him, you would have shot back with “I blocked him,” not “It’s just a one-way PM and I didn’t respond.” They could all have been one way PMs, it’s still using a spy to read and react to them.

Still, I can’t stress enough that I’m not buttmad over this. We did fine on reset and I’m happy on DB. Inasmuch as ANet can’t really do anything about it, TS spies are a part of the WvW meta, and the only way we can do anything about them is to be diligent about identifying and rooting them out. Unfortunately, on Friday, we weren’t.

Yeah, I saw that. I think that if these become common enough, ANet will pretty much have to make GvG happen. There’s nothing wrong with a match here and there, but if I were a WvW dev I wouldn’t want them to be a common fixture; new content should be considered to address that.

Thank god we chose EBG instead of our usual posting FABL. Sounds like it was nothing but rolling D/C and treb wars.

For the record, FA had a spy in DB TS for reset night. At the 6:16 mark you can see him warning of a portal bomb well before it actually happens (and no that’s not my proof, it’s just the best example of it in this footage). Since it cuts in after that message was received and the portal bomb itself doesn’t actually materialize until the 6:30 mark, this means he got the message well before CO sent its mesmer in there.

Apparently he was able to use his in-game name and no one bothered to check in in TS. I wasn’t there, I like to think I would’ve noticed! :P Hopefully this won’t happen again lol.

Couple of things here:

As leader of VK I feel I should respond to this.

first, No this spy was not at all part of VK. He was running with us in comms however. He asked me if I wanted the up to date locations of CO/DB. My exact words were:

The fact is, every server has spies. Now for us, we were not just showing up and finding you all the time because of spies, CO. I have been at this commanding thing for a long time. I think on where you might show up next and head there. Sometimes I was right. Lots of times I was wrong. You saw the times I was right. If I knew where you were at all times, you think you would have taken mendons/anz with such ease all the time?

VK had lock down on the east side of the map. So it stands to reason, when you ventured into the east side of the map, you were going to see us.

Spies can get you to the fight. Spies can’t win you the fight. What we did when we showed up had nothing to do with spies.

We really just want good fights. End of story. You were giving us great fights. So we definitely had scouts out looking for you/ had smaller havoc guilds kite you too us

If I understand right, OP is a Gandaran having a go at some [JDGE] guys dueling. I don’t know who OP is, but I’m willing to bet he’s probably someone of no importance.

This is exactly the type of arrogance that isn’t needed in the game. And, if there is a queue, duelers need to take it sPvP. I know this really doesn’t exists on my Tier. I’d make certain they were Zerg Rolled for taking up the queue.

You know, a couple zergs once tried that with us. Their fail zergs were absolutely embarrassed. Why? most good players understand whats going on i that area and will not venture down there. Its typically only the pvd squad that hates this.

I have 1000’s of hours in wvw. I have probably capped that south supply over 500 times (maybe more) you know how many of those times I needed to get close to the windmill to do it?

Its not even remotely close to the supply camp. theres no strategical value in running past it. Its out of the way.

So why were you there than?

I suspect you are there because you have taken it upon your self to judge how others should be playing a game they paid money for just like you. You think its wrong, so you decide i’m going to trash their fun. You are than absolutely taken apart by the enemy server and are shocked to find out no one will rez.

Now that you are 100% clear on the fact that this is where we duel. You should have no problem avoiding this kind of embarrassing situation again correct?

We had a couple of our guys d/c in EB, the queue was under 4 minutes from about +1 hour into reset. This tells me 1 of 2 things. Either many people have quit this game due to AC changes, or TONS of d/cs were occuring.
