Our zerg-balls have learned how not to die, mostly. After countless times saying “get on your commander or die alone”, they’re finally starting to pick up on it when we run into a WM, VK, BT, Meow or RET ball and are stacking up nice and tight.
In addition to that, CERN had over 100 people in our mumble channel the other night when we were defending KN garrison; that has to help, too.

That was pretty much the best part of the reset. 2+ hours of fighting non-stop with the ring up nearly the entire time.
p.s we did not leave KNBL early. I beleive we pull out of there at midnight. FABL was looking rough so we had to move

Also, mad props to VK and alaric, your grouping for water blasts is INSANELY tight. Well done, really good coordination. Shame you didn’t keep fighting in that one where you started losing people fast (round 3) – you’ll note we always fought to the last?

CERN. We had even numbers, you got an idea of how we play there, we took that fight on literally 1 minute notice. We switched players out becuase OTHER PEOPLE WANTED TO FIGHT TOO! For the most part we simply took 1 guard out for another. Or something of that nature. Its actually pretty common in GvG to change people out . We have an 80 man guild. we ALL LOVE this kind of stuff. I’m never going to tell one of my guys ‘nope sorry you can’t fight, its these 15 the entire time’

fighting to the last is not something you typically do. Normally when its well and done, you just say gg let the guys rez and reset. I respect the fact that you want to fight to the last, but its not wvw. Its gvg in wvw if that makes sense lol.

First off,
where the heck did you people get this idea that we are full of ourselves/ego driven/Elitest?
I just reviewed EVERY post we made, not once did we comment on our skills in GW2. Nor did I personally every say anything about being as good as AGG. get that out of your head right now.
VK is a NEW guild. We were formed literally tuesday of last week (the first video I posted was day 1 of this guild working together) We have no idea how we will fare in T2 to be honest. Yes most of us were in RET which was together for months in T2/3. But its still not the same. Getting to know a group of people all over again pretty much. A learning curve is bound to happen. The fact that we got the honor of fighting a guild as highly skilled as AGG before leaving this tier was a big bonus for us. Make no mistake about it. They are not a regular T1 guild. I have gone against BG/SOS/KN. AGG seemed a couple steps up on what we saw from those servers when we fought them. They took us apart. some might think that would hurt our egos/feelings. Wrong. in guild chat you would see people saying ‘Man I’m loving this, these guys are wild, I could do this all day’ despite the fact that they were essentially farming us. You learn WAY more in these type of losses than you do winning. They were a classy guild. I wish I could have stuck around with my guild and got a couple more shots at them. (and FoE)
oh. we will be fighting. Just pop orange swords. We are bound to show up if we are on the map. We usually run NA prime from about 6pm-11pmcst.

We had fun harrassing you guys in EB today with our 15 man squad.
Are you talking bout next to Langor? Omg FoE was in there like, screw it, let VK kill SF when they are trying to push in. We just sat back and held the hole in the wall for about 30 minutes from the hordes of SF trying to cap it. Our scout was like “VK to the left, now right.. under the bridge… pushing into SF.”
You guys looked organized which is very nice to see across the firing lines. Major props for coming head-on into a 50v40 with considerable less numbers.
we had 15 with me that were VK. 1 that was MAV. I think that was about it. maybe 2-3 randoms that you guys just wasted right away :P
We tried to push into langor 2 times if you didn’t remember (I was a bit ambitious, fine I’ll admit it had no idea you had like 40-50 FoE just sitting in there., than the second time, well I figured why not try again) after realizing FoE was farming, we left you guys alone and hit anything that looked like it might drop us juicy loot. Was so fun.

This is easily changed. You could look into promoting more WvW oriented builds during guild meetings or on guild websites. That helps alot. Watch videos of high tiers play. That’s what I did personally to create a style of play unique to VK/RET.
Should you listen to me just cuz I come from T2? Kitten kaboodle no.
If you run against VK you will see the true power of the death star…I mean, of the WvW oriented builds/players. We literally do 0 PVE. Most of my guys have under 20% map completion. So if you like the way we play than sure. Take my advice. Kitten PM me in game and I’ll Shoot you my honest opinion on anything. I’m here to have fun.

VK is a drama free guild on and off the forums. I’m not getting dragged into this. I stated my honest opinion. If you choose to take the criticism and do something with it great. If not that’s no big deal.
VK will do what we do and leave in a week. We hope the fights will be many.
Ps. You only pulled pug commanders out of the group. I was the only VK commander. I only went down 1 time the entire night. That was in rouges when we charged 10 into 50 to make our final stand.
I rarely ever post videos with my own voice com in it. Numerous reasons why not. 1 being im kitten when it comes to video recording and rarely can figure it out.
So it sounds like nothings being said but as any of my guys can tell you, im usually yelling like 900 commands a second. They follow or we all die.
as far as SF is concerned. WAY to much glass. thats the glaring first thing we noticed. We melt you guys so fast its ridiculous. I am just going to assume its a lack of running toughness gear.
You also seem very scattered. Do you not have a community ts3 running? If you don’t, get one. its a MUST to have in higher tiers. I mean you seem to have the sheer numbers to be a couple tiers up, which is leaving me to think that the pvp skills/knowledge and communication must be the problem. Thats my honest opinion with only having played 1 night in wvw against you guys.
Improve alittle on any of that, you will move up. You got the numbers.

Fun time running around with VK on EB. Learned a lot too.
Zergball + combo fields + taking advantage of both together simultaneously….Great tactic if you can maintain the ball and coordinate….
Nothing new to us (other than the machine like execution of VZ), many of us have saw the Youtube vids, or saw it on other tiers, VZ does it extremely well.
WZ (on FC) had been experimenting with it for weeks, their problem (that I saw) was they were trying it in open field situations, it seemingly works much better in a closed/controlled environment like VZ had last night in Jerris.
Haven’t faced this enough to know for sure, but my theory is that if you break the ball you break the group. Focus mesmer pulls, mass fears, (yeah I know 3-4 guardians/warriors could counter with stab., but there are counters to everything) separate those people(s) from combo fields and each other and thin the herd so to speak.
That is what we did last night, a few of us went and dropped CC’s and AOE on them in the tower to force their squishier ones out, and control when they were leaving rather than have them sit and dictate when they moved.
Seemed to work much better, and again have no idea the best way to attack this, but I feel as though we will have MUCH fun figuring it out lol

Secondly, Combo fields actually work best in the open field. If you were there fighting us later on, you must have saw us going 15v60 for over 5 minutes simply because we ALWAYS have ALL 15 guys RIGHT ON TOP of my tag. No matter what I do, they are with me, when we stop the fields go down, they are blasted 5-10 times within 3s and we are moving in 5s total again.

We do this with 100 RET (now VK) in a single ball with the same results.

VK is having an absolute blast in T8 so far. Ridiculously awsome going 15-20 v the world. We love it. I was alittle concerned we wouldn’t see numbers when we showed up. Well that concern is gone after we went around and kicked the hornets nest for a while.
If you pop orange swords, and VK is on, we are probably en route to you. Just saying. We love open field combat if you didn’t figure that out tonight

We have a way to get the commander buff on the bar, but not have it up. You people can’t focus me if the ENTIRE zerg has the tag buff on
Heading to T8 for a week. FC. Should be fun. Than back to FA under a new guild tag with a smaller more tight knit/hardcore group.
We won’t be able to deal with the mega ultra pink zerg anymore, but if you know me, you know im still going to hunt you can try none-the-less

I indeed left this tier. I now play in FC T8 with 10 of the RET that followed. I’m only there for 1 week. I was just looking to mess around and have fun rolling a hammer train there
