Dungeons are a very important part of a mmorpg. If you do not like dungeons, you do not like mmorpg’s
ArenaNet does not force you to do dungeons.

True. But it was for vanity purposes only. Elite armor was just a skin. Now we have to spend hours and hours in Fractals, and now do dailies for weeks on end, to get better gear.
Grinding for skins = optional for those who like to do that kind of thing.
Grinding for gear = gear treadmill, Pavlov, and all that. No fun.
You need ascended items only to make fractals from level 10. And wvwvw is zerg vs zerg. So, you’re not forced to grind fractal/dailies constantly to get ascended items.
Unless you want to reach level 100 in fractals …

And so, we are taking the place of 1-5-10 or more people who want to enter wvwvw to compete.
Until you’re the commander, and in every encounter, automatically, you are the constant target of all enemy players/zergs. So on, causing it to become unplayable for commanders because they always die. At that point, it stops being funny and crying posts on forums, asking them to remove this feature of the game, do not stop appearing.

- Lieing patchnotes that declare fixes for bugs that aren’t fixed
- No endgame
- Objectively the worst story in a video game ever and an ending so terrible it dethrones Mass Effect 3’s infamous “Pick a color” finale.
- Developers lie about everything
- Falsified server population data
These are the things that define Guild Wars 2 for most of the gaming world. How does that make you feel?

Precisely for this reason I do not feel the need to get a legendary weapon. They have no history, no one knows where they come from, why they have that name, no missions, dynamic events or whatever to get the precursors. It’s just constant farming items in one area to make it.
I do not know if it should be the same as in EQ. But they have to improve a lot the way to get precursor / legendary weapons.

Same problem here, it is impossible to play in good condition. The problem arises from the release of the game. There was a time when that seemed solved but did not.

The only reason that would agree with the mounts in GW2 is that they have the same speed of movement that your character has at some point. e.g.
Normal speed of a character = 1
Speed of a mounted character = 1
Speed of a character in combat = 0.5
Speed of a mounted character in combat = 0.5
(with a percentage of losing the mount when it is beaten)
Speed of a character, with blessing of speed = 1.33
Speed of a mounted character, with blessing of speed = 1.33
(the duration of the blessing is the same in both cases)
The problem would be to design the mounts for each race.

Each time you enter combat movement speed is reduced. I’ll never understand why this game has this mechanic. It’s horrible. Whenever my Norn enters combat, is like watching a giant 500kg bag of potatos move around the map. If you have no speed blessings, of course …

This isn’t really relevant. If you increased the 4 to 30 so it was even numbers, and then looked at the AoE damage, that is where the problem lies. Guilds are using culling and AoE damage to wipe out large groups in seconds before they even know what hit them.
Like it or not, that causes players to quit, because that kind of combat isn’t fun. There is no fighting involved, just AoE spam followed by a long run back from the Waypoint.
This change, if it goes far enough, will make combat more involved and enjoyable.

Since the early betas have been talking about this topic. But apparently it is somewhat complicated to implement since no Dev has responded. There was talk of making the night much darker, with better weather effects, with dynamic events happen depending on whether it is day or night, etc …

I have the same problem since the first beta of the game. I’m tired of this crash. Is almost constant, especially in wvwvw. I’ve opened a post to see if they were aware of the problem but no one answers. Use a waypoint, or travel through a portal and automatically “herror has occurred” and closes the game.

Since the first beta of the game I keep having the same crash almost constantly. Each time i use a WP, I take out of the game saying my pc suffers from large hardware problems, high temperatures, etc. … none of this is true as temperatures both cpu (between 58 º C – 60 º C) and gpu (max gpu1 GPU2 63 ° C and max gpu2 58 ° C) are quite normal and everything works fine. The game closes and I get this website:

Because toughness and vitality are absolutely useless. Damage reduction, with a high toughness value in dungeons, is ridiculous and laughable. And especially with the fabulous AI of the enemies and their constant focus on the players making the dungeons in one sentence: “The player must die” rather than “the player must fun”

No, you’re not alone. I also was thinking about posting something similar, but I am too lazy lately having to translate from Spanish to English in order to put it in the forum :P
In GW1 had two dungeons or “raids” composed by 12 people (Urgoz and The Deep). Then the groups for regular dungeons were 8 people. I think if they put groups of 10 people in GW2 dungeons would be nice. I would like to see Underworld or Fissure of Woe of 10 people (two more than in gw1 groups …. not so great a difference).
Please make the night in Tyria be the same as that seen in the Snowblind Fractal. It was one of the best experiences I had in the game, with that heavy snow climatological effect, then that darkness …

I so want to log in tonight and give fractals another try but I feel they will still be bugged and disconnect-y…and I really dont want to read map chat looking for group of fractal +5…and this will just keep getting worse with no fractal level reset.
Pushing me to other MMOs, namely WoW, hell I might even look at SWTOR since its free 2 play now…finish up my stories there. Thats how bad this game has gone in the last 7 days.

Can not finish this part of the personal history because the enemies never stop appearing. They kill the npc and you can not choose which path to take.

I do not mind dying after using the skill number three (vengeance) when I downed state. What bothers me after using that skill and die is to use a waypoint, appear live and die again. This does have to pay the cost of two repairs … more travel.
It struck me that, instead of opening the map to see the progression that we completed, we could have an option to view it directly on the minimap. Icons of hearts, points of interest, skill challenges and views, they would be above the minimap (with the option to show / not show in the options menu). Or simply passing the mouse cursor over the minimap, these icons appear with a slight transparency, indicating the progression of the map where we are.

Just that, the option of having a calendar in the guild window (G). This would serve to schedule events with the guild or put notifications for certain days / hours.

I agree. And also put an option to show only the names of enemy players. Currently showing all enemies on the map (players and npc’s enemies).
During these days i was thinking and I thought that could have achievements in GW2 for some dungeons and other bosses of the world. These achievements would be related to the skills of these bosses and player skill. For example:
“Defeat Zahitan without taking damage of Mortal Strike”
“Defeat the Spider Queen without being a victim of its venom more than 3 times”
(the name of the skills are invented).
I think this would give another challenge to the dungeons and world bosses.

There are items which when transmuted, have graphics or textures bugs. It has happened with other objects but unfortunately I have no photos.
Weapon: Greatsword
Skill: nº5 Rush
When I use that skill, my character does the following:
It passes through the objective failing the attack.
Executes the ability staying locked in the middle of the route (no obstacles on the way).
Does not reach the target, remaining stuck in the beginning of the route.
