Another misinterpretation of a text.
Using an i7 920. I guess if I want to improve my FPS in this game I got to overclock my CPU. For shame.
The answer is a resounding YES. I’m using an i7 950 and I have currently running at 4GHz (before summer had it running at 4.2GHz, but the gain difference in terms of FPS, between 4 and 4.2 is almost zero).
An i7 920 can reach 4GHz without problems; but do not forget to use a good cooling.
The problem is not only with the armors. We also have:
Swords having the same size as a GS.
Daggers with the same size as swords.
Hammer heads too small compared with the long of the grip.
The grip in some axes and maces are too long.
etc…
Just reduce the range of the knock back against PvE mobs for these PvE fans so they can stop crying about their loss of 1second farm dps.
The problem is that in PvE there are 50 rangers using skill No.4. This, for melee classes, is very annoying, because these players force you to play a certain way (go behind the mob like an idiot all the time).
The effect of KB should work only if the enemy is attacking the Ranger at melee range.

The ways to level are the following:
-character switch at the end of dungeons
-heart quests/exploration
-pvp knowledge tomes
-dungeons (story mode)
-WvW
…and:
-craft, gather, DE, EotM, play ALL the dungeon with the same pj and not change only at the end, PS, guild missions…
In fact, I think the only thing that does not give you experience in this game is to log in.
title says it all, when I run around in the new area and the instance, I get the ‘walking in water’ effect. Anyone else has this?

The current problem of mordrem wolves is not the lack of retaliation. The problem is the feature they have: more damage when they flank.
So, basically, if you are in the middle of a million visual effects, you can not see when this happens. Not to mention if the event has scaled…
My top 3:
1) The fighting mechanics must to be entertaining and require use of the three roles that are currently in the game.
2) Fix the three roles that are currently in the game to be necessary. Especially the CC role.
3) Good rewards that make content almost constantly repeatable (unique weapons/armor skin, legendary armor & backpacks, legendary runes and sigils, legendary recipes, legendary pets, etc…

Analyzing your build and deducing that you are using five signets due to Deep Strike:
- Control: Crippled and immobilize.
- Tank and Survival: Restorative Strength, Dogged March, Adrenal Health, Thick Skin, 2781 + 100 Toughness, 18472HP. Not bad, but lack more.
- Offensive support: almost zero. The F1 longbow helps create offensive combos, then I see nothing more.
- Defensive support: only blindness … could say almost zero.
- Damage: almost everything is concentrated here.
Another mistake I see: blends the best direct damage weapon that has the warrior with a condition damage weapon… GS/LB. If you want to play melee/ranged I suggest GS/Riffle, aund you can mix berzerker/knight stats, so you forget about the condition damage.
This is a build I just made quickly and without noticing much in the stats. It is for you, to see an example of what I mean:
Overview:
- Power: 2492 more “Empower Allies” and power boons.
- Presicion: 50% base. With Fury you get up to 70%.
- Armor: 2935. As soon as you lose 10% health, you’re in 2835; within recommended.
- Vitality: almost 25k
- Ferocity: 186% increased critical damage.
- Healing Power: 300. This allows you to heal 3500HP every 20 seconds you and your allies. Improved healing received from “Dogged March” and overall survival (Healing signet + adrenal health). Also do not forget about “Cleansing Ire” and rune nº6.
We could say that is a Damage, Defensive Support (with some damage support) – Control (GS #4 and Riffle #2 and #5) build.
And do not forget the benefits provided by other players (banners, boons, traits that are activated in combat, etc).

Yesterday I decided to play the Lunatic Inquisition minigame. When I just spawn on the map, I find with players spamming the autoatack, where opposing players appear…

The game has a lot of details like this. For example, if you play SE story, you will see how the robot makes the same hand gesture that Arnold Schwarzenegger at the end of the Terminator 2 movie :P
Recently tested in Cursed Shore. It does not work, even in combat. The 200 extra toughness does not appear anywhere
The framework update didn’t work. Now the screen goes black, in the loading screen, and I must to press “ctrl+alt+supr” to close session and return again to the desktop.
Edit: I just saw framework updates for windows. I set it up to see if the problem is solved.

Every time I go to the character selection screen and press “play”, the game closes and takes me to the desktop.

If I were the dev who had to rework the entire TP, which they did, I would slap you with a quaggan tail
not to be sarcastic or anything, I do appreciate the rework, in itself, but when it comes down to it, most of it is mere javascript. That certainly isnt rocket science.

2 years is a long time for an MMO not to release anything.
I think you are mistaken. We have released content and features in the last two years on a fairly regular basis. Just because the content and/or features were things that you personally did not particularly care for doesn’t mean we didn’t release anything.
Please don’t trivialize the efforts of our design and development staff down to “nothing” because you didn’t like it. It’s fine to comment that you didn’t care for what was released, but don’t pretend like we’ve done nothing here for the past two years.

Normal for us are paychecks between 1200-4000 Euros for a normal person, depending of what kind of job you have and how long you work.

That information is not correct or is very outdated (or is an illusion created by some political mesmerizing to trick the population) For example, I live in Spain, and the current base salary for the majority of the population is about 1000 euros or less.

This happens also in other parts of the game such as in fractals (swamp) or pve areas.
It is also interesting to see, in my case, as the use of the two gpu I own is reduced to 7% -11% when two or more Zergs shown in WvWvW, and how the cpu is triggered close to 100%.

re start the game…
I was playing in wvwvw, when the game minimizes and I get a crash. Still, I could maximize the game and continue playing, but without sound. When I wanted to use a WP, the game finaly crashed.

Did ANet really hype it up?
Sorry I don’t go out much so maybe I missed something, but all they did was release a teaser and then slowly release more and more info regarding the patch. I don’t remember ANet specifically going out of there way to hype anything. Of course like I said, don’t get out much so meh.They’ve constantly answered player complaints in numerous sub-forums since November by pointing to their feature patch that we’re still waiting for.
Based on how they handled their public relations, I was expecting some rather large changes: new skills, new weapon sets for each class, new armor and weapon skins, some new zones, guild halls, etc.
It’s your fault. Already knew for weeks that the changes that would come were related to QoL.

And no, I do not like Crash Bandicoot Online…
- There is a trinity in the game from the beginning of its development (cc, damage and support).
- Fortunately it is not “Holy”. Play the way you want (with some restrictions, obviously, is a game with rules).
- Unfortunately, for me, does not work well. One part is the fault of the people: “go full berserker or nothing”, and another part of the problem is divided between the design of professions and the design of many fights in the game.
- Roles & Balance (make the CC and Support roles work better).
- Better Boss mechanincs (especially champions and legendaries in dungeons).
- Fix all the bugs.

Much of the permanent content added sits abandoned. I am not sure it makes a difference if the content is temporary or permanent if no one plays it after a couple of weeks. =/
If no one plays it it means they were either bad or not rewarding enough. FotM is still very popular, as is all the launch dungeons.
In other games, content gets abandoned because people out level them.
And as people level up, the rewards are not suitable for the highest level and content gets easy and boring.
Same problem here. After a fight in Cursed Shore, battle music doesn´t stop playing and i have to re-log.
