There is a lemon karma merchant in sylvaria starting area. Directly blow her and due west of the skill point (one with three worms that spawn) is a copper node against the base of a hill.

just stand there and watch them port in, mine and port out. Hard to get the names clicked fast enough, but I got a few.

I know Anet is working on it. The bots are less (the ones running around at least).

Got 3 dyes today (two from nodes, one from mob) in about 2 hours of playing..

I noticed you conveniently left out WvW, those boosters give clear advantage over others – speed/regen boost anyone? An advantage is an advantage, doesn’t matter how you try and spin your words, you just make yourself look like a goober.

Extra bank/inventory slots (useful when farming/crafting/collecting, the default space is not much, if I have to carry several stacks of tokens on my character with limited slots, I can hold less loot and will therefore be at a disadvantage to those with more slots)

You don’t ned this at all. Plus you have same amount of tradeskill slots to dump your collectables into. Sure another bank slot is nice, but not needed. Heck my daughter and I made a two person guild and with no effort we got a 50 slot guild bank to use. You can make your own guild of 1 and do the same if you want.

Karma boosters are nice. That is about it. There was a reason for the Mad King event you could dump 4 of them along with tonics to get chests. They are junk and nothing more.

Not really. The amount of real cash you have to spend to get enough gold (ie buy full exotics) is a ton of money. Plus you can do just fine in a both pve and pvp with rares stuff while you work you way into exotics or better.

- Black lion keys, which gives black lion chests, which give black lion salvage kits, which give a higher rate of ecto drops, which gives that player an advantage for buying stuff from the gem store, yet again.

Again, you get crap from the chests. More boosters, mystery tonics and stuff. Sure there is a really really small chance to get something better, but nobody is playing that lottery.

Sorry but the game is 100% playable without buying gems. It is not like they close off portions of the game or stuff if you don’t buy gems.

Ok I did not want to post because I thought it was me..

but my laptop also shuts down completely (all the way, powered off).

It happens about 50% of the time only when doing personal quests. It is so odd.

The other big issue is that even if you can be there, the events time or lag out on you.

I tried the lost shores event and it was impossible to get into LA without being booted out. If you did get in, folks could not even move due to the lag.

So if they are going to have it, they need to lower the population cap, pick a better zone and fire up a ton more overflows to handle it. If it splits up group/guild, oh well. The system they are using now, clearly does not work.

The players that go afk at waypoints (not talking low level ones, mind you) and of course get aggro and die.

Only to have some kind soul rez them, for them to die again.. Rinse and repeat..

You are level 80, you should know that a waypoint does not mean safe area to go go afk for an hour.

Look at other mmo with “gems”.. EQ2 as example.. They have sony points.. same thing as gems..

It is game breaking for mesmers (and bad for most other classes). Decent players can figure out without the star (real mesmer dodging, off hands etc) but the star just makes is stupid easy for anyone to find us.

I didn’t like D/D leveling up, because you don’t get an XP bonus for taking longer to kill things.

Most of what you do leveling up will be 1-2 mobs, sometimes 3 at a time. For this, I found S/D to be the best (stacked condition), because I could throw a couple of stacks of the stone shards on each mob and then do a churning earth before moving on to the next set of mobs. Sometimes using the Dragon’s Tooth and Phoenix if Churning is still down.

D/D is about slow dps with the ability to survive a long time, not what you want when leveling up.

For me, focus off hand is a must for my all 3 parts of the game I play (wx3, spvp and pve).

I need the speed and the pull from the curtain is just huge in many situations. So for me that is big.

Staff is my other set. So as condition/toughness build slotting sword does nothing for me.

Scepter allows me to drop the channel confusion, block if needed, while waiting to move back to staff off cool down. The sword gives me nothing during that time.

Remember there is NO other choice for ranged main hand if you slot anything off hand (torch , if anyone uses, focus, sword and pistol)

I can report ones that have seen pretty often. The nodes are all around the skill point directly south of the npc that sells the lemons.

They appear West of the skill point (kill three worms) at nodes there. It is so fast, that I can’t report them.

Seen them there 4x in last few days..

I am an engineer and I play a ton of wpvp and bunch of spvp (not claiming to be a pro there in spvp).

No issues with 100b. There are times I get caught in it, and I deserve the damage from it. Happens once in awhile.

Beyond that, I have tons of tools to keep you warriors from landing it. It is a chess match. Don’t nerf it..

If the tools are there to handle incoming damage (no matter the class) and that player fails to use it, then they deserve it.

And guess what? You are not going to win all the fights. It is sad that players call for nerfs the second they lose, yet quickly forget about the other 10 fights they did win.

So walking along in WvW… Panning my Camera around to watch my 6. Panned it back around to watch my front. Started to pan it back around to my 6 again and ended up on the ground. Full tanky spec ranger. .2 seconds to die. 1.5 seconds to hit the ground.

Can anyone guess what killed me?

I still dont believe you are tanky at all then. I’m a tanky ranger and I don’t get dropped in even 10 seconds.

Yup, need to move around. Hit your city for your starting race and see the big purple portal. That will put you in lions arch.

All the other city portals are there. Pick one, and start their same level stuff. This is key for leveling.

Just add a local time clock in the corner of the window with a countdown so folks know.

Rewards players for all things like damage, rezzing, healing points etc..

They got pvp right there. (for scenarios, their wpvp is a mess)

50% of the time, I can’t finish a match.. This has been going on for a long time now.

They added daily pvp goals, then put a bug in the game where you have to play double the amount to hopefully get it done.

We passed another week and there was nothing done to fix this. Very little (has there been any) communication regarding eta or work around for this bug.

nobody uses torch…. The other offhands do a TON more for you

Ongoing Mystic theme, Warhammer Online. How they made their whole pvp really nothing more then players vs doors.. ie you avoided fights vs players since you got more renown and xp hitting pve doors in rvr

rifle is primary for me and going power build.

off hand has to be warhorn for the speed buff, condition cure (traited) and the aoe weakness (under valued condition).

So that would mean Axe is only choice right? Sword is pure condition? The leap on sword makes it appealing, but would not mesh well with power, correct?

I have been mmo’ing with my daughter for the last 2 years. She is now 13 and LOVES PvP.

so when our little 2 person guild rolls out into pvp and you die to her d/d elementalist, know it was a 13 year old girl driving the character

We only play a few hours a week, but GW2 is perfect for us.

Can make your own little guild. Can log for just a half hour and do hearts and DE. You can be different level ranges and still group up. You can do spvp or some wpvp in that time.

We love the game

They are 100% still around. I am seeing all the human rangers with bear pets in the same spots on Yaks Bend.

They do port a TON more now, but that is all.

Actually seeing many more naked players hitting a node and porting/warping out after they farm it.

They changed the rules and Anet has to catch up (if they can)..

I would add something..

Warhorn is fine to move around. .keep it in the bag and swap as needed to get from point to point.

But to fight it adds little. Slot sword for a really nice dps on 4 and great block and dps on 5.

Not saying the warhorn is bad, but don’t use it for fights is all. just bag it before you aer doing events and hearts.

they don’t stack if you have same one on both weapons.

If sigils are different, then they do.

What runes would you suggest? Movement is big for me in pvp (hence the staff) so thinking of runes of speed or air..

But what ideas do you have?

Hammer / staff has been solid pve, but have not wpvp with it yet.. Any suggestions?

(My 80 with tons of pvp time is a memser, so have experience out there, just not as a guardian)

When in stealth, OPEN with your pistol auto as that is a mini unload for no initiative and 5 stacks of bleeding, then follow up with unload.

Aussie here so latency isnt as good as native server users. IF you dont see them coming your first second is realising you are underattack, attempt to decoy/distort. But lets say they are venom. 2 extra seconds is more than enough with that damage. Anyway your missing the kitten loven obvious, RISK VS REWARD. Im a glass cannon just like they are, give me 18k worth of crits in 2.5 seconds and the ability to multi stealth away.
