Be SURE to use items from heart vendors like lemons, cherries, apples and peaches. You can powerlevel huge gaps in the craft via those.

Being 100% honest.

I am level 75 and not seen it. I also have a thief at level 55 if that matters.

Zero issues with any content. I have run all the weapon combos. Did play Staff, sword/focus till about 60, then moved to GS sword/pistol since.

PvE is really fine. 3 mobs? No problem either. ’

Now in my 75 levels, I have crafted some and have my personal story to about 62 or so. That has gotten me some easy levels in there, for sure. But the mesmer levels just fine.

I am sort of happy that there are people like the op that give up early on the class. having less of an awesome class around makes it nice.

Take cooking and jewel crafting.

you can get 20 levels of xp from maxing those.

That allows you to sell ALL the other mats but the ore and gems. You can make enough selling the other mats to fund any gaps you have in your main crafting.

keep all your other food to powerlevel other alts.

For weapons like the longbow on the ranger or the GS on the mesmer, the weapon does more damage from longer distance.

On the ui for the hotbars, could we add green line for when at max dps range, yellow for mid range and maybe another (can’t use red, as that is out of range) for min damage range.

Just be helpful.

That is the point.. Plus if you are just using it to get around, focus is more then fine.

You guys are want it all. My mesmer gets around fine with focus in the off hand and 20 in chaos. I have about 7 sec of downtime on speed..

That, along with all the other stuff we have it freaking amazing.

if you think a silly 10% passive (again that you will have to slot) is going to make you happy, you will be disappointed.

Actually if you leap via sword #3 (where you swap with your clone) into our light field you gain retaliation, not chaos armor.

I run staff and sword/focus and use it all the time when I am going to enter melee. Drop your curtain for the light field, and sword #3 (twice) to gain retaliation.

That, with blurred frenzy from sword #2 is very nice. You can then swap back to staff drop staff 5 and retreat out to gain chaos armor.

You sound greedy.. We don’t need the run buff when he have so many other things to bring to the table.

And are you really going to waste a slot for 10% passive run speed sigil?

staff and sword/pistol is horrible, Charming Rogue. Zero synergy with that build.

It was horrible. Loot was bad, event was bad and whole Halloween events have been total garbage.

It did not click for me until 40. Prior to that, without better traits, gear and stuff, it was just so so.

Post 40 it has been great! I am septer/focus and Staff with condition build. I kill fast and have no issues. Plus I can pull big groups and do just fine.

Of course in pvp, we rock.

I find the whole halloween event not fun. Just not my cup of tea. Guess what?

I just go and do other things. I don’t complain, I don’t whine and I don’t play the “I am leaving guys” card.

Do something else. There was 1000 things to do before, still is.

Why worry? It is so easy to make money in this game, it is not even funny..

Personally, I could care less about the skins, this event etc (just not my thing). So I am making a ton of gold selling all the stuff.

My daughter plays and loves this stuff, so she is using the drops, buying stuff (that I don’t give her) etc and doing fine.

In the end we both have a ton of gold and we are pretty casual players (mostly weekend players)..

Just play and/or buy what you want.

Got it last night.. You get a Potion of D’Vinn from it.

I am a scepter/focus user as primary (staff back up)..

It is a big improvement if you have used it a bunch before. The is an overall dps increase in the weapon now.

But if you did not like it before, you might not jump to it now. Doubt it will get sword users to swap over.

But for the few of us scepter lovers, it is a nice improvement.

Ok maybe it is me, but the new crafting ui where you pick the number of items you want does not work..

Say you want to make 12 loafs of bread. Before you just hit 12 and done. Now the skinny little window, if you click it to 12, no matter what, only makes 1 at a time..

REally bad.

IT is a skin, not something that makes you better at the game.

The amount of hand wringing and complaints over something as silly as an appearance items is mind boggling. If you want to put the time, effort and money into, great, go for it.!

If you don’t want to, then do not complain. I could understand if it was pay to win type items, but it is not.

Warhammer Online had a pvp class (also called engineer). They had just their rifle and turrets.

What they did was give the engineer a really nice damage buff of 20% when in range of their turrets. It took 20 sec to build to max, but was a great idea.

So maybe here do something similar. Or have it be 5% per turret that is out. Along those lines..

Sorry never played an engineer. Only level 20ish and wondering if we can have perma sprint? I heard someone say that in /map but when I asked them, they had logged.

Are there spots in GW2 that you guys who played GW1 find really neat to see changed?

I played EQ1 and EQ2 and seeing the world different (but the same in ways) was really wild.

I run around in GW2 and wonder about that. The little lore I know, when in the Charr area, seems like that is a major change.
