Tried again on random player and nope. just the option to report, not block..

folks asking for level 3, 5, 20 etc.

How do I know what level I am? or they are?

I really dislike the dungeons in this game.

I won;t get my monthly this time around.

Guess what, that is my problem, nobody else’s. The requirement is pretty easy to get. I just rather not pug it up 5x in a dungeon (in a smaller guild, folks spread out time wise). So I miss this one. No big deal.

Stay with what you have. The scepter, as is, without any traits, etc will be fine for pve.

Actually it is not a horrible weapon, but we all know the issue with orb speed.

Ok, got it to work. It is more just a timing issue.. if you double tap #5 it does not work..

You need to hit 5 and if you want a heal, you wait like 1/2 second and hit again for it..

I can’t seem to get it to trigger if I wait longer (ie when the channel bar is still going up).

but at least I can use it to heal as needed.. thanks all..

Hmm ok will try a double tap of #5 for the heal and see..

I thought I tried that, but will give it another shot

I am trying to get the darn thing to detonate and heal me/others.

But when I hit 5 the channel ability is 1 1/4 seconds. I hit 5 again and nothing happens.

Tried holding down 5 then releasing, again does not detonate.

Is the ability bugged? Be great to have an aoe heal like the tooltip says..

Hopefully it is user error and I am just doing something wrong..

So this game went from something that that anyone could level up in, to Wow where you have to play 24.7 and gear checks to know if you are allowed into a group..

I have a wife, kids and a job.. could not log in until tonight does to my daughter having her confirmation.. you know REAL life..

My 80 mesmer could not get a group for the new dungeon.. Everyone had to be level 7 or some odd crap to do it….

72 hours out of the loop and ZERO chance to get a group? This game talked about no grinding and you can’t take three days off at max level and not land a group now??

I have a wife, kids, job etc..

I play to have fun when I get the time to play..

I could care less if I miss something in game.. I rather hug my wife and kids, throw the ball with the dog or yell at my neighbor for random stuff (he is a funny dude)….

Never once , as an adult, do I care for TWO seconds about GW2 and if I missing something here..

It is fun to play.. My daughter and I have fun knocking out hearts and doing the new dungeon..

The people that think this game matters though…. They need a sanity check..

last time i was into fight with one droped his hp and puff invisible with 10 clones around
not impossible to kill em but it’s hard 1v1

They cant have more then 3 and if normally one is Illusion that does not look like the player.

Plus clones won’t show off hand, so that helps know who the real player is.

They are not hard to kill if you stay on target. And that is not hard to do if you are are smart and pay attention

norn if you like to pvp.

having stealth on a warrior can be very helpful in pvp.

RNG – I played a ton the last two days.

My ranger landed 6 of them (kept track as I was banking to sell)

My mesmer who played equal time got zero

They were both just doing random heart stuff in the 40-50 range.

Seen this also.. logged in this morning and with bear pet as sample.. Sent him in for a good 5-8 seconds before I did anything and bingo, straight aggro to me.

Rinse and repeat with various pets and same thing..

This is not vs risen btw.. Moved to other zones to try it out to see if it was some code from the upcoming event dealing with risen, but same thing..

no matter the pet and zones.. Tried stuff from level 4 to 80 and saw the same results.

Sorry but it won’t be the end all of patches for us..

Minor tweaks, maybe some reason to swap to another weapon set, but you will not be seeing anything major..

Agree never.. I had issues with it in all my set ups..

I am running p/d now and just dropped it. CnD works fine for when I want the mini unload from stealth pistol 1

umm some pets and or their mob versions summon more of their type out of thin air..

just saying that there are odd abilites.

But the pets are fine in the sense of how you get them. They are not fine in attacking moving targets.

Bridge event happens if you let the bandits poison the water supply and do not protect the workers afterwards.

If both fail, you get the bridge blockade from the bandits.

The windmill is just a random event like the queen wurm that spawns in the same location.

I am only 14 on my little ranger alt, so sorry if I am missing something or not gotten there, but where are our condition removal abilities?

I am human so I see there is a racial for 3 removals on 40 sec CD. . that seems ok, but what if you are not human?

Why do I get a message Upgrade to a full account the next time I login to the game after I applied the free trial key to my own account from the invite a friend email that I sent to myself that already has the purchased game. Does it mean that I lost the full access to the game. My previous four digit code after the display name was 9710 but is overwritten with 5720 and the account now shows trial status with a message upgrade to a full account.

The real question is, why would you invite yourself to join a trial for a game you already owned? I don’t think the system necessarily is set up to check against this, as it would be entirely fruitless for someone to add a trial code to an existing account.

The OP is trying to get whatever bonus you would get by having a “friend” accept the 3 invites..

So he sends out three dummy invites to his alt email accounts in hopes of reaping the rewards of friend referrals.

Just allow for out of combat weapon swapping so we don’t have to deal with a clunky ui.

You can run around with say d/d and be ready for a 1v1 if jumped. But if you stroll up on a zerg fight, you have time to swap over to staff

The thief was working with a heal while stealth build. Not big damage, but war by attrition (as your 4 min fight showed).

well burn is a huge part of it..

burn is the biggest condition you can have… so you can’t say, give me a number and not include the burn part..

I can tell you for a fact, once I got $10 in gems on my account, if I try to get the same on my daughter’s it will block it..

For all the right reasons, the credit card companies are blocking the purchase, assuming the card number was stolen.

Plus the tonics, you could combine with boosters to make special event chests.

That netted me about 15 gold via that..

For PvE you will be fine.

For Spvp you will be fine

Wpvp will be rough. That said, roll a solid roaming class like thief, d/d elementalist, mesmer etc and avoid the big keeps and just move around.

But if you want to zerg surf, that will be rough with that rig..

Yeah when you can not enter due to a queue, only to find out it is due to 25 bots in the water farming, you get a tad irate..

I am going sword/sword (cond runes and stuff of course).. Just using the elite and dealing with being down a little on run speed.

Longbow can stop them (or gun if you care to use that for snare)..

So far not missing warhorn that much, but (big but) that warhorn buffs a ton of folks so might be valuable there.

Just feel like I give up a TON of dps by using warhorn (axe is really nice in that off hand slot). All just to run around faster.

Seems the only way we get run buff is to slot warhorn in offhand. Ok, so that means I need range in 2nd slot

Talking mostly wpvp, but pve at times, which is best to use with it? Sword or Axe?

Or should I just get a full load of rune of centaur and use my heal to run around? (I know there are mesmer builds that run that)

Still seeing bots all over Yak’s bend. Queensdale, bandit farm is 24/7 of them.

Not saying Anet is not working on it, just have not seen a reduction.

I run Staff primary with sword/focus for off-set (this is wpvp mind you).

There are times when I break out the scepter to mess around. See, If staff is primary, I don’t mind the scepter because I am swapping to my off set normally for the focus effects mostly. So that means I am at range with nothing to do with sword 1-2-3 while waiting for weapon swap to come up.

With scepter I can drop #3 for ok damage and confusion. #2 if something got on me ("granted not as good as blurred frenzy). By then I am back to staff.

But at least I can use #1 while kiting and waiting to swap back to ranged.

All that said, been playing MMOs since EQ1 and I found early on, I am just a much better player as ranged then melee. Just the way I am wired.
