Exactly, this would make it easy to give commands and have people notice them and be more incline to listen.

edit: I’m a commander and the commanders I work with use TS and type.
Mainly because most people aren’t using the teamspeak in a zerg.

I would agree with the Auto Badge loot. Not the everything auto loot. You should have to pick up everything else.

Well… Legendaries cost about 1200g (roughly)
So with this argument/point
Math:
100 Gems = 1 Gold
4000 gems = $50
4000/100= 40G
40G = $50
1200G/40G = 30
30x $50 = $1500
$1500 for a skin.
No one in their right mind will spend $1500 for a legendary.

People wanted a new way to get a precursor, they want to get it right the first time.
It could be months before they have a final product.
Have you gotten everything else for your legendary yet?
If not save your precursor for last. (Unless you have everything else) Then keep farming.

When in WvW, when a commander speaks in chat it should show the icon next to their name in chat.
Exampled
(Commander Icon) Name : Something something something.

Currently on 300 hours of my legendary grind if someone got a legendary for being at an event for 1 hour I would be annoyed to say the least.

Only things that aren’t account bound are items purchased with skill points
BS shard, crystals etc.

Since this there is no stat difference and is purely cosmetic, the weapons don’t need to be changed.

That’s why they have the Gold to Gems converter.
You need 22 gold for 1000 Gems (roughly)
I paid around 150G+ for my charged lodestones (I farmed some of them)
I mean I’d prefer to pay 22G.

Transmuting changes it because you are taking the stats of the exotic.
I don’t see why the sigil would alter it to an exotic since it doesn’t take on that stats of an exotic.

I haven’t gotten my legendary yet, only need karma and badges but I’m curious as well.
I THINK it won’t but don’t take my word for it.

After capturing a temple, how long until it becomes contested?

my question is How the hell are you guys getting that temple uncontested for shards?
Mine has been contested for like 2 weeks due to failures or glitches.

The other price difference is the precursor
Dawn is 260g (Lowest atm)
Dusk is 320g (lowest atm)
So more of a 40gold difference

When you say precursor which one specifically because “The Bard” is only 10G.

Let’s do some math.
If you wanted to purchase one of the “higher-end” precursors such as Dusk.
Lowest listing about 320G
100 Gems = about 1G
4000 Gems = about 40G ($50 value)
320g/40g = 8 purchases of 4000 Gems
$50×8= $400
I don’t think anyone is willing to drop 400 dollars for a precursor.

I like my cultural armor.

I would hunt the mobs and then salvage while killing mobs.

I currently have a 42k karma armor piece i accidentally purchased on my elementalist .
I bought a medium armor piece and karma armor is soul bound.

“You need 525k karma for crafting ONE legendery”
Plus karma for your 77 clovers basically another 400k-500k

I agree, I’m working toward Sunrise but I still feel a lot of the other legendaries (typically the smaller ones) aren’t equivalent in appearance

I’m going to have to agree. I have about 200 badges and I have map completion on two characters and around 700-900 kills.
Only brightside of this taking forever is that I’m getting my Karma farm out of the way.

I don’t mind that I didn’t get to play this event.

However, I do care that everyone who played got a 1-2% chance at getting precursor and I did not.

That is really poor. Even if Arenanet add some scavenging event for precursors, it still means I missed out on the 1-2% lottery that all the US and European customers got to take part in.

This event should respawn every hour for 24 hours – it should have had a Special Event achievement attached to it. Anyone who has already earned the achievement gets 0% chance of a precursor (i.e., no double dipping). Anyone who didn’t have the achievement gets 1-2% chance as per normal.

This way everyone in the world gets a chance to play the event and have a one in a hundred chance at winning a weapon worth 250 gold (the achievement would block people from farming the event for precursors).

Why make one time events?
Why not have it reoccur every 3 hours and have you only able to loot once?

Just because they aren’t the best doesn’t mean they’re obsolete.

That’s odd how you’re stuck with the crappy stats.

A legendary is for cosmetics.
If you really care about the cosmetics of the weapon, start grinding. If not, enjoy the game and carry on.
They’re not needed to play the game.
Leave them the way they are, they don’t block progress.
If it’s too hard to get one, then don’t.
Finally LEARN TO FARM, not everything needs to be purchased.

Well that would work if you haven’t created any characters or started leveling yet.

But every character would need to have their own unique name.
And then have something like a choice to use 1 of the names you already have chosen as a “Display Name” of some kind.

This would just be adding a option not making everyone chose ONE name to have as a display name.

Jump puzzles shouldn’t be the way people obtain these Badges.

There should be a Karma Exchange merchant where you can exchange a Karma item as long as it hasn’t been equipped for the full value.

Reasoning Behind this:

I bought a piece of armor from a Karma merchant the other day due to a bug.

I was previewing all the armors (Light, Medium, and Heavy) on my elementalist.

When I right clicked “Preview” was the only option that appears.

Which means when you Left click the only thing that SHOULD be able to be done is preview, not purchase correct? It didn’t have Purchase or Buy as a option.

So I clicked it hoping to preview the Medium armor BUT instead I purchased a piece of it.

None of the other characters are passed level 5 (that could wear a medium armor item) – in addition to that the item is SOULBOUND so it wouldn’t even matter.
I have a medium armor that isn’t refundable and soul bound to my elementalist.
