And make it more WvW Rank points to obtain. 15 points for such a powerful supply drain is ridiculous.

Theres a reason a lot of organized guilds only go for fights because a lot of siege is overpowered making it near impossible to take a keep even a tower with 20-25 people.

Rangers bring very little to the table, are they completely useless? No, but they aren’t strong enough in comparison to what other classes bring.

I’m pretty sure 90% of the people who seriously play for PPT are relatively new to WvW. I used to be a dedicated PPT player during the first 3-4 months of the game, but eventually it just grinds you down. Once you’ve played a dozen matchups against servers both much stronger and much weaker than your own, you come to realize that it’s almost entirely about coverage and that smart play and strategy can be completely trumped by a 5am karma train.

Playing “for bags” is mis-leading too, because playing WvW for rewards is a waste of time. You’ll get 10x more gold for your time in PvE. Generally when people say bags, they mean fights.

People like to polarize these things, to make it “us” against “them”, “ppt” against “fights”. But, tbh, most people will do both if they can. I’ve spent the last year with guilds who prioritise open-field fights, which means we don’t disengage from a fun fight if swords appear on a friendly structure. But that doesn’t mean we don’t defend stuff, and it doesn’t mean we don’t take objectives either. Often the only way to get a decent fight is to bang on a reinforced door.

“Fights” guilds take a lot of flak from pugs for “not helping the server”, when the reality is they’re better at getting ppt than anyone else on the map. So many times we’ve had crap thrown at us for staying at a fun spawn-tower fight rather than coming to defend a wooden keep, but the people complaining conveniently forget that an hour ago that keep was fully-upgraded in enemy hands, and the only reason you now have it at all is because a guild group took it for you.
They also conveniently forget all those times they would undoubtedly have lost a T3 keep if it hadn’t been for a fighting-guild coming to the rescue.

I would actually quite like to take part in a challenging “ppt war”, my favourite games are all RTS, but the fact is that WvW is not a strategy game. It’s a coverage game.

Coming from an NA player: Agg, NS, TKG, TW, and Choo. Choo has looked pretty big in size recently but they are still very organized.

Some of these zergs we couldn’t handle with our numbers some nights so we’ve had to tag up.

I think a 1 Kill = 1-3 rally mech would be fine too.
Just not 1 kill = full zerg rallied.

It’s probably against some rules of your company in some way, but if not, try starting a Kickstarter fund for GvG development. I’d be willing to bet you’d get all the funding (resources) required fairly quickly. There are a lot of people who want to play a game that doesn’t exist right now, and GW2 is an awesome platform to make it happen.

This would work for me, even if it didn’t get you all the resources you would get a great deal from it. Keep it in mind.

I don’t know man, after reading the QQ ratings. I think a cloud with ‘SoRe Losers’ text on it and IRON/DIE tags moving away from it would sell more.

Zergs are encoruaged by this game, it might be different if :
1. the AOE cap was increased/removed.
2. Downed state removed.
3. Rally has a small player cap. (2 player max)
4. An adjustment to supply
Not exactly sure yet but running a 65 man zerg with +5 supply give you 975 which means you can speed build 6 omega golems at someones keep which is very difficult to defend against even if sieged well.

I don’t even care about the golden dolyak finisher/achievement points. I just want to be able to play and not lag my balls off.

Currently, once you reach 250k kills the kill counter stops going.
Once you hit the 250k kills, the counter should continue but there should be no more achievement points to be earned.
Once I hit 250k kills I’ll still want to be able to see my kill count and I’m pretty sure everyone else who is close/has it would definitely want the counter to continue.

You clearly have no idea on how to siege if you lose any objectives to 15 people.

Create a way to retrait without having to go to the Class specific trainer.
2 Ways to implement:

1. Going to hero panel and having a button at the top (like spvp) that allows you to refund your traits. Obviously this wouldn’t be free, it currently costs 3.5s.
   This method is more convenient BUT would cost more say 10s?
   This creates a gold sink and allows for player convenience.

Or if you want to make money on this convenient feature, you could make it like the Copper Fed Salvage-o-matic. Put it in the gemstore for 500-1000gems.
Where you buy the item from the Gem store “Book of Training” or whatever kind of name you want to give it. Once you use this it allows you to re-trait but costs you 10s.
Or this item when you double click it, it binds the item to your account giving you that “refund traits” button. With the same fee of 10s.

I honestly doubt it, there is no logical reason for not allowing it to be accountbound. It just rewards people who only play one character with 100 Power and 250 Vitality (Guard Stacks). It just doesn’t make any amount of sense.

Edit:
A good way to impliment it would be to make the ranks account bound but they aren’t active until you’re lvl 80. To avoid lowbies having +250 Vitality & power.

Hey I can’t change my guilds password for this site, it says I saved the new password but nothing gets changed.

I doubt they’ll only upgrade the ones that aren’t transmuted. Even if they did decide to do that at first, once the change was implemented anyone who transmuted a legendary would be on the forums ranting.

The game should have more exclusive skins only acquired from bosses but make the skins extremely rare.

That’s one thing that this game lacks, every skin is easily acquired. The only “Rare” skins are the halloween ones, legendaries, and a few of the mystic forge weapons. Even those are quite common.

ex. Final Rest from Shadow Behemoth that was a staff skin I wanted to get because of it’s extremely low drop rate. Then the drop rate was buffed and now it’s a common skin.

It’s fun to kill people, and I prefer an unpredictable environment as opposed to cap the point. I don’t have delusions that this game takes skill to play like most people here though. If that makes me a fool then so be it. I’m glad you’re concerned though…. makes me feel all special.

try running with only 20-30 (no pugs, no commander tag, ONLY 20-30 BT)
then fight groups with 50-70 (guilds such as: TW, Choo, Agg, SF, WARD, FEAR)

If it still takes no skill and you wipe those groups just as easy, I will disband my guild.
I will need video proof, and I will need to see the following: Ally names, this means you do not just display your party members name / Visual of your Map (Do not blur it out)
And show the # of people on your Teamspeak / guild list.

Of course you wont take me up on the challenge.

If someone posts a profitable way to use skill points it will no longer be profitable, you’re going to need to do some research. Cause the moment it goes on these forums the profit margin usually dies to nothing.

You can get laurels in sPvP from the daily ^ otherwise valid points.

What? I only do WvW and I make like between 5-10G(depending on drops) in about 4-5 hours. Upgrading and Siege are optional purchases, usually commanders and large guilds do that stuff.
So you want sPvPers to go out and farm gold by doing PvE. So they can do sPvP, where gold is unobtainable?
Btw… retraiting is like 3 silver… It’s not bank breaking.
sPvP and PvE in this game are two totally different things.

They didn’t. So they should all have to level those toons to lvl 80. That would be fair right?
