Seph: See if you can find Generationz on GOM. He runs a guild called EC (Electric Celerity? Elephants like Celery? I don’t remember) That would fit you to a T. He runs no more than 5 at a time, usually less.

GoM is a great roaming server! I also agree that Gate of Madness would be a good fit for you!
I know a guy by the name of Zaroth Dellwin who runs a hardcore WvW roaming guild called Advocates Of Suppression [AOS]. They have elite groups that roam in enemy borderlands to “suppress” their tick. He’s on often, feel free to PM him or me for more info.

Ash in my experience is focused on team play and larger fights and most are traited for that as well. Not a requirement just general playstyle. I run with them a lot and have found myself switching in wells for Blood is Power as a for instance.

Not many classes can trait to use 10-20 guys to beat 30-50 and also 1v1. Your probably hitting up against guys who see you as a nuisance while they do x task.

If you run up on an RH or EC solo your probably going to have a more fun fight. If your zerg runs into ASH it should be a fun fight for all. RH 5 mans are pretty beastly too.

Nothing wrong with either play style.

DR Nakie Zerg vs Pink Zerg was fun stuff. Note to self, just because 50 people arent wearing chest or pants does not mean running in solo is a good idea…

LOL I was there for both of those as well and I dont think its the first time I seen DR do crazy stuff. Nice to see some madness on other servers too.

I would also wager that most if not all those ppl killed by someone camping a road are trying to get somewhere else and not hunting solo players so it will be a one sided fight 99% of the time and nothing to boast about unless you actually got killed more than you say and that is why u so angry.

Aww man, no engineer! A lot of people think engineer is a bad roaming class, but I disagree. The engineer is very versatile and can face off against lots of classes and builds.

Big difference between a roaming build/class and a 5 man team. Great 5 man teams have a ton of ability overlap with fields, finishers, group buffs, group heals, etc. Engis are powerful particularly condi-bunker specs, but they don’t have the overlap that makes for a great group dynamic.

A perfect 5 man should be able to continually remove conditions from the entire group, constantly heal the group, drop tons of control, strip boons, setup fields, rapidly fire off finishers, have a massive amount of spike DPS and keep boons up at all times. In an ideal setting, this would happen on the move with few needs to stop. Every member should be contributing to multiple parts of this system. When it is running well it should take twice the numbers or more to bring them down. Engis are just no specialized enough for this in my opinion. They can be potent but wouldn’t make my perfect team list.

Good point man. I was getting a bit mixed up. Being an EB commander, I don’t do a lot of roaming or 5 man roaming.

Hey Martin,
The only way for a guild to not exist anymore is for there to be no members in the guild . There is a really easy way to do this.
Leave your guild. It’s a button on the guild page. To leave, you have to stop representing.
Without a leader, your members will start quitting, and Poof! No more guild.

I have seen Guild’s come and go, but we remain dedicated to the Guild and each other. Should a Guild Member have freinds elsewhere feel free to have them join you with us here. We are more than happy to have dedicated Raider’s for any occasion be it PvP/WvW for example. If you bring them, they are yours to Lead.

As I have contributed to a Clan Pay for TS server on GoM, but I was not contacted ever. I will not use it, though we have our own Vent server for our use.

vox and ASH has shown they are open and I have respect for them. I miss PF, Primal Fury. I cannot field a handful, but have ran on GoM to flip and treb where I can to assist. With that said, I do not mind because I have been dedicated to Defending the GoM Homeland alone at times. I do have my own Commander’s Compendium completed. Request me to assist and I will come, demand and I will merely walk away.

I haven’t heard anything on this thread about GoM, but we win a lot of our fights! you might want to consider how you want to approach WvW. Higher tier servers face better servers than lower servers like GoM. Here in Gate of Madness, we face a good matchup, and come out on top.
