I have a very hard time to reach a conclusion if you are a troll with the title or you are serious. 50$ fair for a map and few other contents? The ENTIRE core game at 50$ has 10 times more content than HoT. If HoT was like 20$, then yes, it was worth and a price set with common sense.

I got alot of patience right now, maybe a discount will come in the future.

So let’s see, newcomers get for 50$ the game + expansion, ppl who already got the core game need to pay again for core game to get the expansion, 50$ again….Now isnt that cool? A map that isnt even at least 1/4 compared to entire Tyria map, and you pay 50$ for that.
Look at GTA 5, you paid once, you get all DLCs for FREE, just an example.
This thing is not fair at all, at least they could have made that ppl who already got the core game to pay like 20$-25$ for the expansion

So i’ve seen the new daily system, kinda well, but i have question about monthly achieves. Willl those be removed after this month? I mean, no more 10 laurels, luck and 20 coins?

Just to understand, is Season 2 near the ending? I mean as far as i can understand from the news, after 13th january a final battle will come with Mordremoth? It’s exciting and kinda dissapointing at the same time if that so. Exciting cuz after that battle, maybe Season 3 will come with the next Elder Dragon, maybe new maps, dissapointing cuz i really hoped S2 will be longer, i mean compared to S1….i think it’s not even 1/10 and i really hoped to have a full map of Maguuma Wastes, not only a part (i dont think not even a quarter we will get) not to say about the other zones near Maguuma, perfect maps with alot of green zone, perfect to fight there Mordrems too.

As far as i understood, mad king event can happen in lion’s arch….but is it random or when does the event triggers?

A sub-forum to give chance to QQers to qq even more than usual. Well, on season 2 part 2 lets expect more hating threads without any constructive things.

They told they WONT do an expansion, so get over with and get used to it, or just leave.

That’s why we deserve less events, why? Because after every major update, you see at least 15 poisonous topics where the HATE is the main subject. Why you are still here? You hate the game, even if it’s on the top5 or top3? Fine, go somewhere else.

Tbh, being lone wolf shows trully how much you like the game, you dont depend on friends, if they leave, you leave the game too, lol, you dont depend on a guild too much, if the guild is disbanded, you leave the game or dunno what else.
What is with all the talk about expansion? Didnt Anet told they wont do expansions in GW2? And even if they do, doesnt finally depends on NCsoft decission?
There are still tons of things to do in the game and i dont think it exists a player that completed all, are you rank 10k in wvw, did you get every single legendary, do you have 25k AP, are you the best in pvp? And much more.

This game will last many years, more than other newer games and most than the games will be out in the next year, it has potential, a good enviroment, that color scheme tough, attractive, that gameplay. Even if the ppl are crying all over the forums discussing the same subject, no X, no Y, no Z every single time, look at the game, it’s still standing, it has alot of players, you can do alot of things. Try not to rush doing all the things, after that ofc you will get bored.

I’d say, GW2 is doomed. The whole genre is doomed. Look at WoW it’s the biggest MMO out there and it’s losing player! It will die and so will GW2 and every other MMO. It’s already too late. As for the other ppl complaining. You really didnt got tired of this, dont you? You just cant wait for a new topic like this to complain about everything? Even there are at least 20 topics about this?
For ppl who dont believe this game have a future, why you are still here? Why dont you go somewhere else instead of “poisoning” with that continue negativism? You realise some possible newbies pays for the game and they can be influenced very easy by what do you say? Meh, they payed few dollars for the game, but they wont try the game cuz YOU say the game has no future and other negative things, so who cares. You WONT solve nothing if you complain.
This game survived against some “big” games (that in the end, some of those games proved to be a big fail) and it’s still standing very good and i bet will survive to the future games too, like black desert, start citizen, etc. You dont like cuz it’s too casual and you dont get “enough” content? Fine, try other games.

So you’ve got your answer, most of the answers are YES, including mine. Maybe you like more “hardcore” content or something like this, then try do a search in game, you will find some hardcore content, even if the game is a semi hardcore/casual.
And don’t worry, this game will last at least 5 more years, maybe even more.

Hear my advice. Ignore ppl that only know to rage and complain about every little thing they can see. On forums are like 10-20 ppl that are like that, so try to ignore them, they either haters, they either ppl that just think that complaining so much will solve something. The only thing they can do is to discourage you and many other ppl that ofc, will be indoctrinated with “The game is dying”. This game will last at least 5 more years.

Why ppl always post negative things about a top MMO lol? This is a hater job, are you a hater or a good player? This is a question you should ask before posting only negative things about a game. You cant say they arent trying to improve the experience, compared to other companies that dont try at all.

Ok….so you got bored, maybe you will return later, maybe not. Till then, Archeage sea battles are kinda good, if you wanna play for that, even the mechanics are not that good compared to GW2, Tera, etc. You can try many other games tough, deppends on your preferences, you want graphics? Archeage, Tera, Vindictus, TESO, Black Desert, you want gameplay? Then EVE online, Cabal, Vindictus, Rift, etc. You want less lags? Then games that are optimized and not based on horde of players.
P.S: Start citizen will be released next year.

Since i used to be a pretty hardcore guildie when i had some ppl to play with, i am looking for an active guild, preferably a 30-50 online players most of the times, that does guild missions and/or WvW, that speaks english ofc and that are on Desolation server.

Before this update i got some minis in the ex-wardrobe, now i look on my character’s minature box and i see none of my minis i got before the update, unlocked. So is this a problem or we all lost the minis?

The fact that you don’t have a problem with something doesn’t mean that others shouldn’t complain about it if it is a problem for them. Your post doesn’t show you understand the issues at all.

I do understand em, the serious ones. Those problems can be solved in few ways: Get used to it and move on, take a break to calm down or just come over the forums and hope those problems will be magically solved on 1 day or so, if are solved, but things like mergaserver, wvw, pvp, nope.

@Ice I read the forums everyday, but today was kinda enough with all the negative things, and some of them were so false. And yes, i’m a secret agent, CIA, dont tell anyone.
@Oxtred So you are saying some ppl wants way more than other ppl? Compared to what i’ve read on forums there are more ppl giving a + than a -.

So that i and maybe others, to “sleep” well, i wanna know what are the real problems that some ppl are QQing all over the forums in the past weeks. It’s kinda annoying to see that everyday almost. So i’m curious what are the real problems, and when i say real, i mean REAL, not tiny problems like lags from time to time.
So let’s see, from what i’ve understood, the true problems are like this, what makes ppl sad:
- Megaserver (kinda agree with this too, not that good, but this doesnt makes me rage all over the forum)
- “Limited” PvP
- “Poor” WvW – personally i’m having fun in WvW
- players are leaving and poor playerbase – excuse me? Just cause some players arent in one place like before doesnt means they arent in another place. And yes, maybe you are “demoralized” when you see like 10-15 players less at a normal world boss
- gem store – Wut’s wrong?
- Precursor crafting – Promised in 2013 after i’ve read a topic, but still, i have hope, even if i got my legendary
- Living story – I bet this is on the 1st or 2nd place, after Megaserver, dunno. And here is where ppl arent considering LS challenging enough. Most ppl enjoy this, and when i say most, i do say MOST than 3/4 game (don’t ask how i know, i just know)
- Dungeons – Yeah….they should add at least 2 more dungeons, maybe they will calm down a bit some of the players that are asking for new dungeons
Did i missed some REAL problems? Don’t think so. So this 8 things are the major problems isnt it? Yet, you keep seeing around 20-30 ppl on forums, from thousands of ppl discussing about this => this means this problems arent that big, isnt it?
The game is a mix of casual/hardcore, so if you want only hardcore, then this game isnt for you and you are just forcing yourself to play and it’s not good for “health”. If you wanna do something in the game cuz you are “bored” then i bet you can find something, even most of the veterans.

Don’t forget, one time only, if you are hacked one more time, i dunno if they will understand that much after. They’ve helped me regain my account in 3 days and i was impressed that was so fast since on those days many ppl got problems being hacked.

Forum does not represent the playerbase, but it represents a big part of QQers, not only here, buy everywhere. Still, if you put it this way, i bet like 80-90% of the playerbase are unhappy, even with the smallest object in the game, cuz the boss does alot of dmg, cuz he lags from time to time, etkittentle reasons that makes you….“unhappy”.
Someone sayed the playerbase isnt increasing….now that is….any proofs about that? I’ve noticed in morning at Jormag and Maw fewer players, either cuz they got bored of the same poor rewards, either they prefer farming dungeons, more profit. Still, GW2 has a playerbase way better than other games that are considered “the best”.
As for the megaserver….yes, that kinda messed up the game a bit. Enough sayed.
As for my unhappiness, i am pretty happy with the game.

I bet you would wanted to see tons of exotics and rares isnt it? Wake up, cuz if the drop rate would have been bigger, with the thousands of ppl getting rares/exotics, then that would have mess up the economy a bit.

You wanted an M-rated one? You would see tons of blood then and some other minor things, that’s all the difference.
Anyway, let’s talk about the major problems here, that i’ve seen at other ppl, not mine:
1. Black Lion ofc, cuz well, ppl arent happy because, well, you can figure it out, gems ->gold. This wont change, no matter how much ppl QQ.
2. Personal story, seen some ppl not happy with this, dunno why, personally i was happy, i mean, your goal is to defeat the main enemy and yeah, he was a bit weak for a final boss, but the road to him, even in dungeon takes a while. Same with this, i dont think this will change
3. GvG and other things. I would personally love too to see a GvG system and some rewards to come with it. This can be implemented in the future and would be nice to see.
4. Botters and gold sellers. Yeah, funny and sadly to see this on a B2P game. In every game i’ve played, botters and gold sellers kinda won the war. So if they wont make some “magic” and make a system against gold sellers, they will continue to win.
5. No “end game” gear. As long as you can zerg and kill tons of ppl, who cares lol.
6. LS permanent content, oh YEAH, this is the main problem here it seems, ppl QQ-ing all over the forums for permanent content every month facedesk….really? Let’s say you would have tower of nightmares, tri-key chest, marionette and other cool stuff, would you imagine the chaos after a time? Too much isnt good, it’s like you drink beer after beer, you get drunked, and drink again and again till alcoholic coma. It’s not good to have tons of permanent content, but from time to time it wouldnt hurt.

Now this are the 6 major problems to discuss and clarify, other problems are minor, less interesting and not worth to waste time discussing.
In my opinion, the game is a mix of casual – hardcore, sometimes you play casual, sometimes you play hardcore. I really dont know why ppl want full hardcore stuff here, you want to go no-life and zerg without break all the day? You want lower drop rate? Cuz that hardcore means, you are tempted to play over and over again, but ofc those rewards at the end are not always good, trust me, i know what i am talking about. Played that cool A. game from 2009, if you know what i mean, and yes, tons of things, sieges, rifts, 2 races to fight each other in lvl 20+ maps, etc. Well, that was a no-lifing game, but the rewards from a +3 hrs dungeon….were not nice at all.

So for ppl who thinks this game has major issues….wake up, cuz i dont think you’ve played games with majors issues if you think this game has serious problems. Many of the MMOs out there has 10x more problems than here, and would make this game be a “God” in comparisson with other games.

I tried just like in the guide, keep the distance, use a rifle, continue to move, but the oozes are doing massive dmg to me….How can i even defeat it? Which traits/build you recommend?

Join TS, request a taxi for a good megaserver, problem solved. This doesnt needs a nerf at all.

I just want to discuss about this. Season 2 with new content, Mordremoth, new map, possible city, possible skills, i hope, and the hate of some ppl for Trahearne. Now why is Trahearne so unwanted and hated by many ppl?:D

The mobile authenticator is for smarthphones only, right? Not my problem here, but what about ppl that doesnt have smartphones, i dont think they can use the 2-part auth in this case, so the 2nd password should help them.

Just an idea for more security, what if Anet would implement a 2nd password for inventory/bank/account. I think you understand, think you’ve seen in other games if you played. A 2nd password, only with numbers, different from the main password and mobile authenticator. Simply you put a 2nd password to account that will be requested everytime you log in or everytime you log in from the same IP and 2nd password for inventory/bank. So what do you think? Extra protection should always be better in my opinion.

Well, got my account restored since i was left naked. 1 day and half for investigation, very fast, many thanks to support.

Well, seems today I was not the only one hacked and left naked. Oh well….Remember to change ALL your passwords from every single account and make it stronger cuz it seems all this incidents in past days have a connection to eBay accounts that were hacked. So from 150 million passwords, some of em will surely match your account’s password.

Few mins ago my password wasnt recognized, i needed to change it, again, tought it was a bug, but then i’ve seen this IP 07 , CN (117.26.190.137) on my authorized connection….and i didnt allowed this kind of connection. So what is happening, is my account really compromised? How can i change my email?
Same thing after 10 mins, Error 11, password invalid, and i just changed my password and now same thing happend and lots of mails with authorize log-in.

Well, that kind of parties are rare, most parties are made for dungeons. You can create a LFG by yourself and wait ppl interested in to join and help you with quests and other things.

Before megaserver was like this, main full, overflow….small chance to be full only in weekend, now with megaserver i think you can see 2 full megaservers, if you were in the 3rd, 4th, etc, dont wonder why there are so few ppl there (consider it like a little overflow too). If you want alot of ppl, then i suggest you to join Gw2community TS and ask there for a taxi. Those guys usually do Tequatl and Wurms (the last spawn, night one).
@Sartharina I’ve seen Tequatl failing even with full megaserver, but in the end, you need ppl with brains. Join TS if you want organized parties for Tequatl and if you want 100% success.

THIS DOESNT need a change, if you were in a weak megaserver with few ppl, then dont wonder why it failed. Tequatl can be defeated in like 8-9 mins. Learn to play and maybe get some friends to help you taxi to a megaserver with alot of ppl.
