SFR and Deso are, as well, boring to play because of monozerg steamroll fashion. Very often, when we meet a group a a size similar of our (around 30) they run away. when they stop, you know that their “main bandwagon” is somewhere close.

Don’t forget, we are French cowards, they are war heroes, so what your are saying is wrong. We are always running with 100+ blobs while they are 10 on the map. They have 2 hours queues, but they are always outnumbered. They never run away, but the only thing we see from us is their back. They dislike siege, but set 10 catapults to take a T1.

I was recently saving for an underwater weapon legendary- I had my eye on the precursor which several weeks ago was only 30 gold roughly & several were listed- not long after I had 30+ gold saved up & saw that it’s now 400+ gold

Poison cost about 26 gold yesterday evening, and the other one (don’t know the name sorry) was about 50 gold, yesterday evening too.

I think the drop rate of charges lodestones is pretty much the same as the other lodestones. People may think fusion lodestones have a higher drop rate, but I think it’s only an impression, since running a CoF P1 takes less than 10 minutes. But if I take a look a it closer, I get a lot of charged cores when running CoE. The only difference is that you cannot run CoE P1 in 10 min, like you would do with CoF.

Luck can’t be explained, that’s the trick.

Depends on the sentence… For instance, I see a difference between :

“You’re bad”
and
“You’re bad.”

The latter is like “You’re bad, period, accept it and keep quiet”. The first one is smoother.

As far as I have been told, the 4 weapons you have to throw in the Mystic Toilet have to have the same stats between eachothers. At least, that’s the only way it worked for me (already got 3 precursors for less than 80 gold, working on my 4th now). It has not been confirmed by any official statement, but that’s what my experience (and my guildies’) say, I may be wrong though. So in your case, what did you throw in the forge ?

Onyx drops from earth elemental and you can loot them from boss’ chests in Twilight Arbor. For the elementals, I recommend you go to the Altar of Lies point, in the Malchor’s leap (south from Seal of Union teleporter).

As for the destroyer lodestones, Sorrow’s Embrace is nice, CoF may you give some of them too. Otherwise, you can find some Destroyer mobs in Mount Maelstrom, which may give you some lodestones. But I think dungeons are more profitable for this kind of lodestone, since CoF P1 and SE P1 are quite easy to rush..

Dawn and Dusk are not legendary weapons, they are exotic precursors, i.e. weapons which are used to craft Sunrise (Dawn) and Twilight (Dusk). Eternity is a bit special, it’s a legendary which requires 2 legendaries in its recipe. So to craft eternity, you need to craft Sunrise AND Twilight.

Using exploits is preventing people to learn encounters and improve their skill. You are actually hurting the playerbase by doing it in the long run. So instead of justifying your exploit use why don’t you learn and improve yourself instead.

Sometimes you don’t have the choice. Remind me what was the only way to survive the Jade Maw in 50+ fractal before the patch ? Even with a full ascended gear you died on agony proc… Now they fixed it, you’re bound to die so we cannot do even-numbered fractals enymore So people found tricks to survive, and I think it’s good news for the game. HC players can use those tricks, casual players can do it the normal way, it’s no problem. Just adapt to your group, or leave it and find another which fits your needs.

Running events is not work…it’s fun when I’m in the game. Feeling like there is a pull to log in every day for 30 mins, an hour, whatever…even when I don’t really want to…is “LIKE” a job.

Some guildies spend all their play time in Fractal and never do they daily, they don’t care about it… So what ? They got their ascended gear through fractal + guild events.

Dailies are optional, if you don’t like the concept, don’t do them.

Sorry but you missed the point. It does work and yes you do damage but in a Group/party (gasp) you can also buff others and solo in PVE I can actually survive. It would actually work quite well in Orr and works fantastically in dungeon and WvW. Check out the guild VK domination running this on Fergs Crossing. It does not mean 100% support and no damage, nor was it only heals check fire shield with an ele. Might stacks anyone. Tell me that won’t work in a dungeon.

It does work but those stats do not exist. Are you sure I’m the one who missed the point ? I think you’re not taking about the OP’s suggestion. I am a guardian, and never ever I would like to try such a build. It would make me utterly useless in a dungeon, it would take me forever to kill any mob in solo PVE . Of course I wouldn’t die, but since I already roll over any PVE content in this game (except fractal 50+), I don’t see the point. I think it’s more a matter of “how to play a class” rather than “we need more builds” problem.

The stychs (or whatever is it called) is the best area for completing a daily. Infinite dying people, 3 veterans respawning every minute. You can find it in the South of Maelstrom, it looks like a little arena (like a Colisee) on the map.

I have 1.5 legendaries, Sunrise and the shield (still in progress).

For Sunrise, I chose the greatsword because it’s my favorite weapon.
For the shield, it was a lucky drop at the forge. Even if I don’t normally play with the shield, I told myself “let’s learn to play with it, and go for the legendary”, so I bound the precursor to my guardian. Now I can’t step back, and I learnt to like playing with a shield.

As for the other precursors I got in the forge… I gave them to guildies ^^

EVERYONE has the right to play.

Red/green colorblindness is not the only kind. Fixing for one might leave another out in the cold, so to speak.

I would think that Anet would want to accomodate as many players as possible. Fixing something like this should be as automatic as fixing an exploit.

Even a fix like a toggle for “What color would you like your ground effects to be” would be acceptable.

False. Anyone knows Desolation can beat us, but not in their current state. They just need to be more and more active during their off-time. In the near future, they will be a huge threat, and if you want my opinion, I think Deso players are far more efficient than SFR ones (considering the pugs). As someone said above, SFR is about quantity, Desolation quality. If they get full and keep the same quality of playing, it will be hard, very hard. So you can add me in your 0%. And yes, I am “rofling”, not about Desolation, but about your ignorance.
