Some effort, but must work a lot more to become a proud member of the forum warrior institute.
Okay lets put trolling aside and have an exercise in honesty: Is VS admiting they love Deso because they know they can farm Wins out of them with ease week after week after week and while were at it..why do you try to do everything in your power to ensure VS has the easiest oponents all the time? where is your pride knowing you win against servers that play 4h in evening and then you claim to be the best server in EU?:)

You may have some good players in SFR (I am a big fan of RG for instance), but you surely have the worst attitude I have ever seen so far.
It really depends on the legendary you are working on. While I think you can get the Gift of Fortune through gathering materials, weapons requiring Gift of Light or Gift of Lightning are almost uncraftable through only-gathering, according to the drop rate of charged lodestones (or you may spend some months just for this gift). You may also farm CoE P1 like 10 times a day, so you may have some charges cores. But really, I started gathering all the charged stuff, and then decided to buy all the rest. It was just too l-o-n-g. Orichalcum is also a problem now, with the nerf of rich spots, so except if you got 8 alts and farm the spots everyday with each of them, I’d suggest you buy the lingots directly. The best way to obtain a legendary is probably to gring CoF P1, before it gets reworked.
im pretty sure there are alot of players out there that like me are sat with everything but the pre cursor and find it frustrating that the method of getting the pre cursor is so boring. i dont mind the cost of stuff, surely there could be just a recipe for it? i dont care if it took a few months to grind out materials for another recipe, it would still feel like im progressing towards it at least!
You could have started with the precursor, like I did. Then the rest was plain easy and relaxing. Ending with the precursor is something I really don’t get… There is like NO POINT, except being frustrated.
I did Sunrise, which I find far more beautiful than Twilight, especially the aura around the character. I won’t go for Eternity so, since I dislike how Twilight looks. Atm, I am on the shield, which is absolutely beautiful.
I profit in this topic to ask why the hell is the Superior Sigil of the Night that expensive ? When does it apply actually ? When it’s night in the game or when it’s night in the server’s country ? I really don’t get it (but I still make plenty of money with it eh).
The biggest reproach I see against VS is that they dislike open field fights and prefer playing defensive when they are outnumbered, plus they focus on points instead of kills.
So basically, VS is getting flamed because they understood the point of WvW… Kinda funny.
I want free Arah tokens now, because I want to play the way I want (i.e. not running Arah), and people running this dungeon makes gold while I don’t, so I am punished economically.

The Vizunah server appears to me as they only care about points and not fair fights. Its nothing wrong about it, everyone have ther own targets in life and game. But from my point of view the Vizunah server destroy some kind of flare in the WvW wich I like. And I blame Arena.net for it. Because ther ranked-list is non-sence (right now). The ranked-list shows only wich server got the most players 24/7, but not wich server got the best tactics, guilds, fighters etc.
A step in the right direction would be IMO to put a 2nd offical ranked-list up, wich shows how many kills each server did per week.
Ther is already a Achivment wich shows how many kills everyone done. I am not a computer expert, but it shouldt be hard to make a script wich saves up those kills and count them.
Anyways, gotta go back to work.

You dare proposing such a terrible idea and talking about “tactics” in the same post ? Come on, you can’t be serious. What would such a number show ? Absolutely nothing ! It would reduce WvW to a simple mega PvP ground, where no tactics exists, and where the only point would be to kill ennemies. Probably the worst idea about WvW I read so far.
Creating diversions, faking an attacks, voluntarily letting a point being captured, THAT’S TACTIC, even if you kill less ennemies, who cares ? That’s not the point of WvW ! You would belong those commanders who say “Mission failed, but we did more victims, so NP”. WvW is about capturing points, so we do capture points. They may add a victim-per-week counter, but no way it should be used to rank servers.
I went for the precursor first, because I think it’s the most relaxing way to obtain a legendary. If you do that, you won’t belong the people who are crying everyday because thay farmed everything for their legendary but still miss the precursor. Once you got it first, the road seems far easier…
I play all 8 classes and Warrior is easily the one that can tear through PvE with the least effort/thought put into it.
Every class can be used to solo, but for easy mindless tearing through things, go Warrior. Warrior is very bad at healing and getting rid of conditions but can tear through groups before healing becomes an issue, usually.
You didn’t play Ranger properly if you think Warrior is a better solo PvE class. There is nothing in this game that can touch a Ranger for solo PvE leveling.
If you have to “play Ranger properly” to be efficient in PVE, then ranger is not the best class for soloing. Take a warrior, hit the keyboard with your head, tadaam you’re 80 and you face 0 problem during your progression. A mastered Ranger may be better than a warrior for soloing, but out of the box, warrior is, by far, better, faster, stronger.
On the other hands, my vote would go for either guardian or warrior. I had 0 difficulties reaching 80 with my guardian, and it was pretty kitten fast.
Aint no alliance on a server wide basis and I doubt there ever will be, after all I think most Deso players would be content killing eachother as well. ^^
You don’t need the whole server to take part in this alliance. Just take 2 or 3 big WvW guilds and here you go.
Let’s talk about last night. Deso attacking the right side of valley while SFR was attacking the left side (at the exact same time). Door 1 destroyed, door 2 destroyed, free Lord. Then start a 2-hour-fight between Vizunah and Deso+SFR. Because you may say whatever you want, but when 2 buses from different servers are 10m far from eachothers, do not fight together, and focus the same server, I call that an alliance. The problem was not Desolation, which are, let’s admit it, terribad as usual, but still we had to do something, the problem was the RGs. We lost valley, after 2 hours of fighting and you know what ? I am ashamed for you. Better be graceful in defeat than being cowards unable to play a proper 1v1v1. But well, seeing how Vizunah could stomp the Deso bus, I can’t even imagine what would happen with RG against Deso…

you forgot to mention that Desolation has taken StoneMist from SFR while SFR was fighting in Vizunah Outlook. How that fits into your alliance conspiracy theory ???
Simply because this alliance is not known by everyone, but rather by the guild taking part in it. So any small group of any server could take SFR’s points while they were busy fighting us. The facts are as simple as this :
This 2v1 is ridiculous, so ashamed to be part of that kitten.
From a RG player, so from your server. Whoever took part in the fight of last night cannot say there is no alliance, or bad faith is his leitmotive. I really hope you can find a stream of this fight, it was so ridiculous seeing 2 buses from 2 different servers ignoring eachothers while being 10 meters away from each others, focusing the same server. RG vs Vizunah was epic fighting in valley, then Deso came, and it turned into some boring 2v1 stuff.
We can’t anymore cauz we are 2 vs 1 and tired to give our best every time since 6 month.
What’s is it with this Vizunah attitude, let’s get something straight.
1. I don’t think there’s ever been a 2 vs 1 against Vizunah.
2. The fact that neither SFR or Deso likes Viz doesn’t mean they’re allied.
3. By allying, SFR and Deso would both doom themselves into a boring match with zero fights during day/primetime and only small bad fights during night.
4. If SFR and Deso did ally despite the matchup turning into a snorefest, you seriously think Viz would ever exceed +5 ticks?
Now I’m not bashing Viz. You are being smart and getting the points during the hours you can. You don’t have the strongest prime-time force but what I’ve seen your pugs are quite organized compared to many other servers (which sadly isn’t enough against most guild raids :/).
Also, you have Troma who I seriously admire for not going into rage mode (like so many Vizunians) but instead having a good humor even when the SFR/Deso trolls go crazy.
