Several of us went to DH a 5 man team of 2 mesmers 2 thieves 1 necro, Op group, we were demoloshing every DH squad and IoJ group we came across, 45 mins later after massacres, a DH zerg pops up to finally faceroll us… It was fine, you should come with us too

As I am against double teaming, you cannot take off the fact that it is needed. There is no official agreement. I think both server just know who to hit first.

We will hit FC after we eliminate DH first. Don’t worry DH we just love you more and we missed you.

Proof? FC just attacked a DH zerg at Anzalias. Once kittenilled half, they ran into the keep, and IOJ jumped down on the DH zerg.

Also while you are oh so helping defend your borderland in FC, IoJ came and opened Garri just to take it and drain it from DH, lol idk in a truce they would have left it for us and gave it to us to take, so lol come help defend the motherland.

I just want you to know that not all of us like to subvert the very purpose of WvW in FC, and that I’m pulling for you guys this week. Stop them.

Because I was against this, I was also removed from my guild, I wouldn’t play along, and it upset higher tier members. I just wanted you to know that some of us aren’t cheaters.

Lol it wasn’t really an alliance if i call it at that, it was merely certain guilds to be honest, some of us were ganked by IoJ along the way so we kinda turned on them too, lol to be honest its only a few people who keep a truce, the rest of us are just waiting to strike at anyone regardless of truce or not, once you step on us without warning, everything is game, so lol dont join, either way we will get some ratings from this. Also lol isn’t it also unfair we are facing a t5 server lol its kinda messed up too, t8 server against t6 -t7 server and t5 , lol DH would faceroll us both, we cant pull their numbers, so please go sit down while this is over, some of us are trying to roam and this zerg keeps annoying me, so its time to roam with 5 all the time now and kill whoever, grab a sword and do your server a favor

Also dw im sorry if you erased your post, but I think it isn’t your fault, i know it isnt fair, but I’ve been roaming alot and this isn’t fun at all, 1v6+ isnt fun, i cant even take a camp without 6 showing up out of nowhere, and if it’s 2 or 1 i kill them and then more show up, no lie i don’t care whether we make DH hurt or not, I just want to get back to having DR and AR or ET as matchups, its more fun and more balanced. I fear we might end up facing a t4 server next if this rating keeps up :/

Isnt it messed up that IOJ has a bunch of aussies that night cap up every night you dont see us kitten ing and moaning about it. The week will come where we get one of you with a server we are frindly and we will mop the floor with you before we hit them.

Lol like I said idc who hits who, Im not in the whole team wagon, i kill anyone regardless of IoJ or DH, specially SE / PD / CORE / Myst/ KoR tags since i see a ton when I roam, but the matter of fact is you won’t get any other servers with FC again, we are too low pop and also which ever other server ends up with us they know you will be the biggest threat, and as for class, lol DH shouldn’t talk about class, I was defending a tower when out of nowhere somehow some DH ran in with no broken gate or wall, and how do I know? because we wiped 6 of them with only 2 of us and then i fell down from lords room ran back in with another group coming from behind, and that group magically appeared in as well, with no walls or gate down as well, ABYS tag also mind you, and not only that, talk about class when it takes 8 to kill me and then the /laugh / bow / disagreeing emotes, not only that talk about class, when we were on your bl and your kittens kept running into your bay and only coming out with more numbers and canon and the whole /laugh, disagreeing emote again. Not only that we kept them running in and out and wiping some of them over and over. So if you want to talk about class, please come over to duels and show us you can have class. So don’t get kittened over servers teaming on others, DH is the biggest so of course it’s a target, always in a fight / Wipe out the weakest first and if not go for the big dog then slay the pugs, simple as that.

Had a solid 20+ darkhaven zerg us at spiritholme. Glad you thought the 5 of us were such a threat dh!

On a side note it was hilarious wiping the PD and every other DH and IoJ team combined, till we ran into the 20 man zerg, had around 45 mins or more of terrorizing the Dh BL, it was so lonely we thought we make it feel at home, so we kinda cleaned up a bit and left presents ya know

First, I’m out of town and won’t be able to play at all in this matchup until Monday or Tuesday.

In my experience, average player skill level is somewhat higher in lower-ranked servers. This is not to say that players are better: simply that they’re devoting their time and effort to a different aspect of gameplay: solo/skirmishing versus group-play. If FC or IOJ (or DH) were to play a tier 3 server, I believe our players would win a majority of 1v1 or 3v3 situations, but lose almost all 15v15 or 30v30’s.

The current system makes this matchup unfortunate. Either Darkhaven goes all-out in an effort to stomp IOJ and FC and gain points, or they ease off to encourage competition and lose points, thereby making a future rematch more likely. Is that what you really want?

In any event, there are many of us who welcome 1v1’s and small-group matches. Feel free to PM or /w me or my [PD] mates or a number of others if you think all DH players are zerg riders.

True most of us in WvW from FC devote ourselves to Skirmish and solo / roaming, so far i havent been impressed, lol except PD but PD only so far has come in groups not really a solo wise, but i still got most of them down to 10% and 50% a necro, a mesmer and a guard or warr, I wanna see you all in duels this week, I need some new fresh faces!!

Oh and one BURN mesmer lol good fights, sorry about my buddy laughing, I did laugh at the end when I messed up and a third one came in and got me from behind but that was fun today.

Me and another mesmer went and wreaked havoc on IoJ BL, earlier had a couple SE and xVx show up and lol we only died once, and mainly went 2v3 or 4 at some point over and over again it was fun lol

The thing with the Staff / torch / sword build, is PU gives and adds 1 sec of stealth, that makes it 5 secs of extra stealth if u run all stealth build, desperate deception, decoy, veil, mass invis, prestige, you to play around with dodging alot, and the staff for clone spam, and conditions spam, the staff for boons and protection, also you want to make it so you heavily rely on your staff and clones so that you mainly buy some time to only use the prestige and decoy, keeping veil and mass invis as latter resorts in battle to either escape, in theory, Staff = Chaos Storm, Chaos armor, giving you boons applenty, plus with stealth even more boons, with 30% boon duration it is nice,
against another class that has boons applenty you can switch is blink for arcane thievery (to steal boons and give conditions) or Null field, always keeping your stealth up, Mirror + centaur = perma swiftness, Lemongrass soup = That nice shield from conditons , Maintenance oil = extra precision for that damage, a mix of zerk coat, rabid legs, knights gloves, zerk helm, zerk boots or knights either way, runes of centaur, and valkyrie weapons with torch = sigil of accuracy, sword either sigil of battle or sigil of Geomancy (bleeds), along with a valkyrie staff and sigil of force, with either sigil of corruption or Bloodlust on another weapon and farming stacks , for either extra power or condition damage, Debilitatin dissipation + crippling dissipation = conditions and cripple on enemies, a rabid backpiece , with Power tough crit trinkets all the way, you could add a knights piece to balance out stats, in theory it sounds like it should work, but atm i am still in the testing zone trying to optimize it to the fullest.

I run runes of centaur, a mix between zerker, rabid, rampager and knights for gear to balance out stats, i run valkyrie weapons for that extra crit and vitality, power toughness crit trinkets and rabid back piece, still testing the build atm. Also for utilities , go blink, decoy, veil, mass invisivility, and for healing go for Mirror, that Mirror can be a life saver, usually it depends, if running against a group or necro, Lemongrass Soup with Maintenance oil, or add in once in a while for extra crit Butternut squash soup

Sword torch staff with runes of centaur and high crit damage with atleast some toughness

You are taking PU with only one stealth skill? Why? You could either take another stealth skill or two to get more protection uptime. Or you could build around something else… PU isn’t like shatters where it is easy to work with to begin with by going 30 deep. Going for PU means that you are likely going to make your entire build revolve around it… It doesn’t seem like you are here just an observation. If you really want to capitalize on Prismatic understanding it pretty much means that you should go after all the stealth skills at our disposal.

with the PU, it heavily does have to rely on a all stealth, which is with some tests being ran, it helps to be both offensive and defensive in and out of stealth, dueling and taking camps, soloing camps it has no problems, although one thing it suffers from is lack of extra abilities you give up with the 30 into Chaos, One upside to this build is if you use PU, the boons you will gain stealthed are insane, paired with a staff it is awesome, as well as the hidden flame aspect = torch + sword makes a great combo to keep foes guessing, so I am working on either a full uptime build, 20 (2/9)20 (4/10)30 (5/8/12) which makes it so that ur always popping out clones, they give off conditions when killed etc, problem is there is no cd for pistol if you go into this and the only thing suffering is you giving up Inspiration trait line for that torch skill, so working on a new build i went, Hidden flame completely which is condition damage and crit damage based

I had a build with torch, sword, sceptre psitol, all stealth uptime, and just letting my duelist crit on them while i go from behind and slashing at them and retreating, it works but i was a noob and couldnt afford much gear to make it 100% optimal, even though it won me most fights, I am working on one atm, if you would like to work on it with me xD

After the nerf hit, almost most of my builds became trash, and well I been testing and working out on a new build, everyone seems to be going shatter, and or GS/Staff, after a while I tried running my old power pistol build or my staff/ focus sword build, although I am a fairly new mesmer, here is a build I like to call iThief.

The purpose of this build is to abuse stealth, it lacks clone spam, but it uses retaliation and it uses micromanagement and focus + torch + melandru to cleanse conditions, as well, focus gives swiftness, and it is all about toying with your opponent.

This is my first build, I know there are problems with it, but I am here showing you it, if someone who has more experience, or players out there to play with it. Hit me in game if you would like to keep on working on it with me, or discuss areas of improvement, this build is heavy on toughness, and it relies on everything to make it work, the torch is only a secondary element used for stealth, and the clones even if killed deal conditions, although the conditions dont hit hard, the purpose is to keep pressure on your opponent while you run around him.

How it works:

Foucus : Warden reflects and crits
+
Sword : Leap provides retaliation

Sceptre provides confusion + torment
Joined by the torch skills which provide iMage to keep confusion up , the prestige gives stealth.

Stealth lasts 1 sec extra, and gives random boons, manipulations also have a 20% cooldown. Etc

Don’t act like it isn’t the same for literally every server, incluuding HoD, ET and FC.

I know just tell your almighty guilds to stop with the elitism, GoM’s gif train was funny, but here in FC we don’t encourage elitism of any guild, only way anyone gains respect is to hold their own in a real fight, a huge zerg against a little pile of bodies isn’t exactly a feat, more or less its ok we only have 4 days to put up with each other, then you can go with NSP and GoM to smash you into submission, as for us , all I want is for ET to stay and to give us Devonas Rest

Should post some videos of the 5-7 man KOM and PAXA groups steamrolling the solo and duo players out roaming. I know there is plenty of footage of that to show off.

I know it hurts to be killed in less than 5 seconds. I’ve experienced it many times myself.

It’s part of the game to die in WvW. I have personally been in bigger groups of 5-40 and chased down one person and kill them. It’s not particularly fun for me but hey I needed my daily.

The point of open world sandbox games is to have fun in different ways. I challenge more people to find a way to counter KoM, Paxa, Yarr, SS, BS, etc and fight back.

In experience when 5-7 good players band up against any 5-7 man group of HoD, HoD will lose, Ive seen equal numbers destroy them, and specially when you have people who know when to hit who and when to dodge out and stay alive, another thing is to learn to dodge the CC, also CCing is fun but takes no skill rather just locking the other opponent, its like if Anet gave us the mesmer the gift to multi stun lock targets, if mesmers had a build that could stun lock multiple targets, with a stun lock build lasting 15-20 secs it be a nice thing.. oh wait there might be a chance to make one, ill brb gonna go theory craft..

No idea who you are but none of us are built for 1 v 1. Some of us solo at times but with our group builds most the time. I guess you suck in a 5v5 then guy I never heard of. We will be waiting for you to make that group and come kill us my pretty.

You Dont need to Know me, but as soon as i find a good group of team mates and train a bit for group combat ill definitely let you know, and trust me, i already have my eyes on a fellow ele, me and him destroyed 5 people from HoD, alone im hard to kill by another player now with a group oh baby hope you catch me fast :P, im a roamer so usually I like to give people hell when it comes to fighting alone with me, against a 5 man group its not party for me, lets face it I’m not a beast mode mesmer to take that many out, not when all the CC is constantly thrown at me, usually i run away in those cases, I wouldn’t normally, but the bows and waves , or cheers just give me a reason to give anyone the privilege to pin me and feel almighty, specially not a 5-10 man group :P

I remember the time when we had HoD zerglings in a camp and they thought we were zerging them, when it was just 15 of us against their 50 man zerg, and we just went back and forth from the camp, just rushing in and ganking them, and falling back and their cries that we had a huge zerg, lol those were the days xD

Oh osif osif you must be mistaking me with yourself and your other zerglins, infact first logical flaw is that at times we have no keep or towers, and another logical flaw is i solo roam around camps , and I usually never run away unless its a 1v2 or 3 at most, usually i stand my ground. I’m sorry sir but I keep track of those who give me a fair fight for my money, I usually add them and they are usually nice people, I don’t care whether you are PAXA or PHZE or VLK, to me it is just a tag, I don’t let anyone piggyback on their guild’s tag, in fact i rather they show me their skills, if they win i accept defeat and i make a new friend who is better then me and I fight him / her because a challenge is fun, if I win i don’t pin them I add them to my friends list and we have another round, but as for others, even those who use towers such as your friends and use guards and always fail to kill only to run in at low hp, so my dear new friend, from mesmer to mesmer , ill see you around

Ahh HoD the other server where zerking makes guilds proud.. Yeah when I see a PAXA or VLK or PHZE actually down me alone then I will tip my hat, but for now its been a let down, most of the lvl 80 guys i fight from them either, run away, last a good time with me, (which is awesome), or win only when another friend shows up, and whats with ET not being able to down 1 guy with 2 people rather bringing your small zerg to pin 1 guy, seriously they should make it less about numbers and more about skill these days anyone with a zerg ball can feel almighty. Ill be on the field to gank ur players xD

hehe So here I am soloing camps till it hits me… by it i mean every darn time 2 GoM or 2 Et show up just when im finishing a camp and im on low health and about to claim those sweet points, and then bam they kill me.. and Im like i just wanted to get some points guys D’:, but its ok i killed 4 dolyaks every time. To the ranger who kept chasing me , msg me i wanna duel u or anyone really had a great fight with a guardian from GoM kid gave me a good fight till we got interrupted by ET npcs.

im not saying 1v1s lol and btw I killed a necro and a guardian, a ele and thieves seem to slip away from me, but if u just chill out with the whole zerg ganking one person, lol chill out this is FC not SF, just relax and enjoy it, u can run in 5s here, ur numbers will make it easy for you all still, but man it gets impossible to enjoy wvw without having to run in a zerg.

So far the only matchup Ive had where i have sweated was a thief on my back we had a good fight, he eventually ran off, but the closest fight was a 1v2 and that was bad on their part, but anything 1v3 just goes sour, usually I just get a wounded thief or ele running away and regrouping with his buddies and then about 7-8 chasing me for a good chunk of the map until I A) wp run more C) Die to more GoM D) all of the above minus A , I never wp, I liek to push my limits, death is only part of getting better, but dang at this rate its just not fun even with 8 on my back it gets frustrating to do anything alone, I might have to start zerging again i guess, even though it takes no skill, *sigh.

I have yet to meet the GomTart, GomnomBar , GomberryPie, etc, that can 1v1 most of the guys I fight are wimps, they 1v2 me and run away, but when the zerg comes around they gank me, Ive seen and have had better 1v1 fights with et and DR, just wait it out till the Zerg R us leaves again, we had a beautiful match up last week, I cant roam with out 10 GoM just coming out of nowhere, to those ive killed atleast u died .. while running xD

Im not a fan of this match up, but I will take it, You guys in GoM have a certain love for my char, I will randomly hit one of you and 4 or more show up to have fun, but you know me I keep it classy, only one or two at a time folks, you can recognize me as the Sailor Moon chick thing running around, well see you all around, also i want to start setting up duels, behind the mill, just send me an email or whisper if ya’ll wanna duel or have fight clubs.
