TBH I do remember some good duels with NSP before, I have some friends in there, I might need to recheck which people I know from there, I don’t remember if it’s Bllades, Winter, I remember some XOXO thief from some time we had some duels, might want to dust off the old duel skill and go at it, when you guys get a fight club just whisper me, I want to relive the good times

Truth! , lol it would be fine if it was an even matchup were we could test the other servers true capabilities in terms of roaming fights and skirmishes, but with the blobs of all zervers, even my own trying to defend what it can and attack what it can, I doubt arguing with NSP’s forum warriors will be much of a help, like the little boy who brings his big brother to a fight, and yet the little kids outnumbers so much ….. No use arguing with their pro warriors, just like you said pick em off in the battlefield.

Again NSP nothing against most of you, just that I can’t find a fair decent fight in this matchup, I understand ur server has gone through hell, amassed numbers and is here to own, but we have been sitting in t8 for so long we weren’t expecting the good old spankings out there..

I got carpel tunnel around the third round, it was 10 before i knew it, my hand got cramps, and they just chain CCed me, it hurt ….

Btw it didn’t happen once, it happened 3x by now, Im slaughtering 2 NSP and then more show up, it’s like NSP has some sort of UltraSuperSonic help call no one can hear but somehow they rack the numbers quick, ,had to outrun a zerg of them at some point several times, Im scared to touch them, because if I hurt one somehow more will show up from nowhere…

As usual its hard to distinguish the good from the bad players in this matchup, 2v2 i wreck, 1v2 i wreck, 1v3+ wtf, I was fighting 4 NSP and then 6 more showed up, wtf lol, its just dumb how more and more show up. Specially since my skill limit only goes to 3 at most, too much skill, I got carpel tunnel from facing 2 hammer warriors, a guardian and a necro lol, my hand hurts

If no one gives me a name ill rename NSP to Non-Service Provider, or NSP as usual…

Thief used to be so good, until recently due to the whole Condi , Stun meta, its hard ot find good thieves, rather cloak and dagger or perma stealth thieves. Its rare to find non stealth thieves and i salute you guys, but i know the mechanics make thieves paper at times.

Im a mesmer, have 1200+ hours on my mesmer alone, tbh I find no class to be as annoying, just I find at times builds who rely on mechanisms to be annoying. For example perma stealth thieves are bad most of the times, i don;t lose to them, but they can become annoying when they reset 4x and it gives u a disadvantage when you try to reset in a fight against 2+ and that perma thief spams HS on you and yet you can’t burst him down if he keeps stealthing.

CC warriors are really good atm, a good one can run someone down, but also they can be countered pretty good which I like, but on a side not again , Im a mesmer i can handle them, but I know some classes get wrecked by them.

Guardians, imo can be tricky if it is a good one, and he is running retal regen, but on a side note they won’t outlast conditions at times if timed right, but I think the real underdog who can be more annoying then these 3 classes is a good played Cond Engi, if you run against 2+ of good cond engies, you wont last long, those guys can outheal, out move, and stun you.

So Yarr and HP and etc, are roaming guilds, not elitist zerg guilds..

Its too bad FC doesn’t war as hard in WvW as they do in the forums, they might be putting up a better fight if they did.

The obvious reason why I am trolling is because you are making an obvious fact, of course every server has players who like to run in a blob, you aren’t preaching to school boys here sir. As for the war in WvW, umm excuse me sir, but I have roflstomped 5 of you in one go before by my self. Doesn’t mean every player is bad, or that every zerg is so good, because we both know both servers have shown horrible commanding or horrible organization at some point. One thing I always respect is not the zerging someone can do, hell i can run in a zerg and feel mighty. To me you show your true skills by taking me down 1v1 or atleast 1v2. I hate zerging for the fact that it relies on either your team running good builds to just AoE the other team, or just who outnumbers who, it becomes boring because I don’t like to rely on my victories solely on the bet that my team will pull through, I like my victories to be personal, selfish, yes but I will only run in a group if I know every member of that group can hold his ground.

PvE feeds WvW and WvW feeds PvE, you demonstrate a fundamental lack of understanding as to how game modes overlap.

Then explain how they “feed” each other.

PvE is usually where all pvp players get invested in online gaming, pve players will from time to time become full-time pvpers. So any PvP mode has pve to thank for some portion of its dedicated player base. WvW, specifically in GW2, provides boosts to pver’s as well as a reason for guild movement and community synergy. PvErs are the source of our consumables, our runes, our armors, and a lot of the other little things we utilize.

The list goes on and on but the gist of it is that when you have a game that shares elements throughout multiple game modes (say WvW, PvE, sPvP) you get overlap and interactions between each of the modes which are both positive and negative. They are tied together and PvErs aren’t leeching off WvW anymore than i am leeching off a PvEr when i buy food from the TP for a price much less than the time investment it would take me if that PvEr wasn’t making food.

Lol you are missing the point, of course PvE leads to PvP lol, Unless you had every item to begin with and then you could PvP without the need of PvE to supply you with the lvls, weapons, stats etc.. The point is, this is obvious, now Spvp gives you everything but the reason Spvp isn’t as popular is because people prefer to use their own achieved items.

So saying PvE leads to Spvp is like saying that Life leads to death. You can’t be dead unless you had life to begin with, the argument is pointless, because it only proves that PvP needs the stuff from PvE, but PvP like WvW wouldn’t exist without PvE, because players need a place to farm and gather things first.

Now this is not the argument, the argument is PvE needs WvW to get its crafting bonuses, its HP bonuses etc.. So lets say Anet just gave you Spvp but with all food buffs and also gave you all armor at your disposal, there the need for PvE would be terminated from a PvPer perspective, because they would become two separate realms, and then the PvE side would be the one hurting because it wouldn’t get its bonuses, meanwhile if you removed WvW, the PvE side wouldn’t hurt as much, in contrast it would keep on, only problem would be that certain food items wouldn’t be used, but I think a stat boost over a food buff sounds way more better in any term.

In this game though some of us invest into WvW because PvE doesn’t appeal anymore, we get our armor, our desired stats, our desired look, some of us maybe don’t want the legendary skins, so PvE has no more use to us, except maybe farming gold, but the is we don’t need anything, besides cosmetic reasons, then PvE doesn’t have much to offer.

Like everyone else doesn’t do it lol, you just got showed proof of how we were right in the first time about your zerg, and now you show up to defend your pride. It’s cool, besides you don’t see me taking SS or every 1v3 or 1v5 fight I do, and Ive done several were ive taken out several of DR and ET pugs in a camp, sad to say not all were uplvls, maybe 1 uplvl in the bunch…

Maybe instead of antagonizing and belittling your server’s PVE guilds, try making friends with and working with them every once in a while? On my server some of our wvw only guilds are friendly with our elite pve guilds, they have a few members who wvw several times a week and sometimes try their hand at commanding the puggies. We invite them into the wvw teamspeak server and we work with them on traiting and gearing them out for success in wvw so everyone has a good time and they help us wvwers out by going to their wealthy guildies to help us out with siege blueprints just sitting in their bank, crafting superior siege with their now useless skill points now that they have their legendaries, and sometimes even large gold donations.

Idk which server you are from, but our server is kinda small, and most of the times every guild has either a communal TS or a private vent, mumble etc.. There is a lot of tension at times. Sometimes PvErs wont WvW unless there is a full on blown out zerg, and if not , they will resume with map completion or dungeons and leave WvW aside.

We have massive PvE guilds that are WvW oriented as well, but the point i was trying to make is, in the end there is more PvE being done then WvW, and my server needs more people, and the problem is you are not gonna force anyone to join WvW to help you out.

The problem for me is, when you don’t have numbers, and the community is small, you get to know most of everyone, and tensions can grow in communities and guilds. Also when WvW relies on a chunk of PvE players to go in there, and not enough are showing up, it harms the WvW aspect of that server.
