No, it’s poor design for arrows to be infinite and for Charr tanks to have no real physics (you can go through them in quests, they have no gravity, 100% scripted)

Then please don’t watch Star Wars, because space craft can’t move like that in the vacuum of space. And womprats are indeed impossible to hit on a moving speeder.

Floating rocks could use some wings, but they are fine like this.

Science has yet to discover winged rocks.

Tequatl is not normal everyday magic.

I agree. Dragons are no David Blaine or Criss Angel.

Ranger best class for WvW?

I started playing this game as a Warrior because I’m familiar with the “Barbarian” type class in other games. But recently, I make a Ranger, and found that to be really strong in WvW. With the amount of damage I can do from long range, do people think that this class is fair?

I use Longbow and a lizard pet. At any target I aim for, my pet rushes to it, doing double damage from my bow and pet. When it dies, I can switch to another pet, and keep doing long range damage. I also have an AOE #5 attack skill, where it rains arrows like an arrow cart.

Is it just me, or does it seem like Rangers are too strong for WvW?

It’s cute how we are debating the science of something that doesn’t exist in real life. But to say that it’s poor design to not put wings on rocks is… pretty stupid. I give this post a 9 out of 10 for trolling.

I still don’t know why they leave. Fights were good over a month ago. I had fun in this game. I still have a lot to learn, and I can’t do that without trail and error with my fights.

Yes fix. I paid for this game, and I feel that I should get items I want. I’m not sure why I need to grind for things I want.

I’m new to Maguuma, and have been learning a lot about WVW. So far, our tier is having a lot of fun. My Warrior class is now level 67, and I’m now almost rank 30. I love the competition, but I hear Maguuma commanders talking about how Dragonbrand guilds are planning on transferring away to another server. I’m asking that you don’t, because if there are no one to fight, then it’ll get boring.

Dragonbrand, please don’t transfer away.

I want to be in the top 500 so I can win a mini llama. I’m a warrior and have looked up the builds for ShoutBow and HamBow. Is that the best way for me to win? I would love if someone could teach me the secrets to being a good warrior PvP player. I played a lot of Diablo 2 in the past as a Barbarian, so I have experience in PvP, but I would like to be better in Guild Wars 2!

A veteran player named Ohoni.6057 thinks that everyone should have equal access to things this game has. When a pro player thinks this, you have to agree, because he has experience.

I’m also a veteran player (played GW1 and then started with beta for GW2). I have experience. I don’t think everyone should have equal access to all rewards if they don’t do the work required.

If you listen to his arguments, you will see that he’s smart. He says a lot of things that make sense. Everyone should be even when making money, and getting items.

That is not fair. I was told Guild Wars 2 is not a P2W game. How do I get in the top 500 in PvP? Do I just win a few games, or play a lot of games and have good win/loss ratio?

Hi there. I saw a mini llama in game and I really like it. Someone told me that only good players can get it. Then I saw the blog post about getting a new llama, and it’s still limited. Guild Wars 2, please let everyone have a mini llama. These are the cutest toys, and I want one. Why do these have to be P2W? Can you please put them in the gem store? I would pay real money for this. I don’t think it’s fair that only a few players can have a great mini like this.

Why do I have to wait to farm silk and gold at level 80? And why can’t I make 50 g every hour at my level?

Well, you can make 50g per hour at your level, but only on the TP, which is part of the problem. You really shouldn’t be able to make that much atr that level. This is an adventure RPG, which means that you should have to earn the rewards your receive, and currently the TP subverts that. Don’t worry though, you can reach 80 in a relatively short about of time.

You are a good player. Guild Wars 2 should hire you to take control of the market. then everyone would be rich! Thank you for your advise.

Mr. Ohoni.6057 is right. I’m on a lv 10 warrior, and I would like to make money from mining these copper ores as the players who sell orange and yellow color armors on the market house. I think I’m up to 20 silver, and I still can’t afford to buy yellow rings. If I can get 50g per hour playing, I think this game would be a good place.

I think your heart is in the right place, but I think that would be a bit excessive. Someone at level 10 should not make as much as someone buying and selling high level items on the TP, but a level 10 player should make about as much through gameplay as someone trading copper/rough/jute on the TP, and someone who’s level 80 and running level 80 content should be making about as much as someone trading in level 80 gear and mats. You should still have to earn what you make, you should still have to work for it, but if you do work for it, all the various activities, including the TP, should offer comparable rewards.

And how do I find Dry Top on my map? Is that were all the gold is?

It’s east of Brisbane Wildlands, and it’s a level 80 zone, but it’s not all that much better than most places at the moment. Silverwastes is probably your best bet, but you’ll need to hit 80 first. At level 10 just do your story missions, clear your starting area and maybe a second starting area, and once you get into your early 20s, Kessex Hills is a good place to go.

Why do I have to wait to farm silk and gold at level 80? And why can’t I make 50 g every hour at my level? I read a little back, and the player Wayne made a new account, and has 300 gold already. I only get a small amount of copper from the NPCs when I sell weapons and armors. Are players cheating to make a lot of money?

It should be a reasonable balance of the two. Basically, some activities can be more or less rewarding than others, obviously, but any activity in the game that involves a reasonable amount of challenge and engagement should provide roughly the same amount of reward on average, and no such activities should provide either negligible reward or significantly over the top reward.

Relative to this discussion, the TP should not provide rewards magnitudes higher than the same amount of time invested in any other aspect of the game, nor should any other activity. If, say, Dry Top farming were to offer 50g per hour, I think players could reasonably complain that it was too heavily favored over other activities. That was the problem with the Destiny Loot Cave from a player perspective, that it offered so much loot relative to other activities that it made them seem like a waste of time, even if players did not find the loot cave particularly enjoyable. And that’s the problem the TP causes now, that players feel compelled to spend time working it because of the massive reward potentials, even if they do not find the activity to be a particularly enjoyable experience. It becomes work rather than play.

Mr. Ohoni.6057 is right. I’m on a lv 10 warrior, and I would like to make money from mining these copper ores as the players who sell orange and yellow color armors on the market house. Think this through first. If everyone can make 50G/hr, what do you think will happen to prices for everything?

Mr. Ohoni.6057 says that people will be happy. I know I would be if I can buy good armors. This game should be balanced so we are all even. I read on a MMO website that Guild Wars 2 made it possible to enjoy every level map equally, no matter what level you are. So why can’t I get enough money to be like everyone else? Is it because I buy this game last week, and not in 2011? And how do I find Dry Top on my map? Is that were all the gold is?

get 75 CoD achievements on your console then open up GW2 in your console. this class is then unlocked.

I just bought CoD for my Steam account, but I can’t find Guild Wars 2 on it. How do I link this game to Steam to get the class unlocked?

Does that mean I can’t have cheaper cloths until I reach level 80? I don’t think that’s fair. I have 9 silver in my pocket, so I can’t join a craft until I can afford more materials.

T6>T5>T4>T3>T2>T1

But again, my preference would be to lower the cost of all of them to at most the cost of Leather, if not lower.

So you want to crash ALL the ore, wood, cloth, leather markets to vendor+1.

I agree with Ohoni.6057 on costs. I don’t have much money, and would like to buy cloths for cheap. Everything in this game should be made cheap, so new players can afford the same things as high level players.

Hi there. I look forward to PvPing in this game. I’m hearing in open chat that the best skill to run is ShoutBow, but I can’t find that skill on my Warrior skill list. How does a player become a ShoutBow Warrior? Is it like in Diablo, were the Barbaian shouts to buff, and a Ranger combo skills off of that?
