Hello, I’ve never really done any end game pve/dungeons and was wondering if a nomad guardian with shouts build could be useful as a tank/healer for the team.

so it is actually paying for quests? wow, I’m surprised and disappointed. the whole point of not having a subscription is I can take breaks from the game without having to pay for it.

Haven’t played for a while, logged on and under living word it says I can “buy now” for 200 gems. What’s up with this?

So i go to the green marker of the new living story quest, I spend 10 minutes mindlessly attacking some robots, and then the instance just got stuck, nothing happened. the two sisters were talking about going through the vines and then nothing happened. the vines were still up, no one was moving or talking, so after like 10 minutes of running around the area trying to trigger something, I left the instance and rejoined it, just to find that IT STARTED AGAIN AT THE BEGINNING. Do I really have to sit through mindlessly attacking these non-challenging bots, just to hope it works this time? I’d rather just log out.

Alright so I stopped playing before they did this trait revamp and now my build which I really enjoyed is erased. I honestly don’t remember what it was and how to transfer it over to the new trait system but I use 2h great sword and axe/shield. It was a pretty tanky build but still had great damage. I used healing signet ( is that still viable?) dolyak signet, bulls charge and throw bolas which both had reduced cooldowns for massive CC. Can anyone help me out recreating this build?

Alright so I know the boon duration on givers armor is pretty weak but I need an absolute UNKILLABLE build for wvw and givers armor seems to fit that role pretty well. Sentinel’s is also way too expensive for me. Would givers armor be alright if my goal is to never in zergs?

Can I teleport to it from anywhere? also does it have asura gates/teleports to other places? basically Is it sort of a hub?

I need to do the daily activity but I only knew of the lions arch activity npc. where is one now?

stop crying as if all the other cities don’t also have crafting stations. it’s not like the airship is the only location in the game for crafting stations. Lions arch had really bad placement anyway so consider this a good thing.

so far we know Kiel and evol both took off and abandoned LA kiel on a airship if any one payed attention and evon with his tail between his legs you saw him kicking rocks in the cutscene i believe.

uhh..wrong. Keil is at a relief camp and evon is at the vigil being forced to pay for the war.

Its called “hard sell”, and just because it’s not prying money out of your hands right this second, doesn’t mean that it’s not highly effective.

I’m sure it’s somewhat effective, but I feel like it’s just not AS effective as always being available. once it’s time to fully gear my thief if the daggers are still not for sale I’m going to pick a different option from the trading post, and then anet truly will have lost.

I know it is done to create a sense of rarity, but in the end I’m sure ANET would make a lot more money if they just kept stuff in the gem store. I would really like to purchase two Majory’s dagger skins for my thief but since they are no longer in the gem store, I guess anet won’t be getting my money.

I have yet to come across a condi thief, which leads me to believe it’s not a very good build. However I do enjoy condi builds and with the upcoming crit nerfs I was wondering if condi thief is viable. Anyone have any good builds? thanks

I agree with this completely. I always roll after falling just for immersion/fun, I would love if it did something.

apparently none of you know your class well. Just because it isn’t faceroll meta, doesn’t mean it’s not viable.

under the economy tree, there is a banner that says: “Spawns a guild banner that will give +5% exp to any ally that touches it for 30 minutes. Stacks with other exp buffs.”

If you notice, it does not state exp on kills, just exp. does this mean it works on exp from hearts/ map completion/ events/ everything?

Alright. I knew thieves love to cry UP but you guys need to calm down. I never said it was overpowered. I said thieves are balanced imo. Plus, I’m not a dire necro, no idea where you got that idea from. I was a warrior. And it took him 3 burst fires to bring me down to CRITICAL health. this means in about 5.25 seconds he had won the fight.

Alright so I have just encountered something that is just…disturbing. there is this thief who is going around using nothing but the dual wield pistol skill, the channel one, and absolutely melting tanks. I am full dire, 23k hp and 3374 armor and this thief is just spamming the duel wield skill over and over melting people. Me and another level 80 tried 2v1ing him and he got us both very low then just ran off invisible because he was low. this isn’t a rage thread, I’m just saying anyone who thinks thief is underpowered is just a bad thief.

It’s basically a copy/paste of a default Warrior condi build and nothing new whatsoever – we know it works, and so do you. Would be better if you dropped Death from Above for Signet Mastery as you are using 3 signets that will ultimately be on CD.

What runes/sigils? I’m going to go ahead and say you’re running 6/6 Undead and Agony/? on swords, Energy on LB.

I don’t see a need to take Bull’s Charge, none of your skills really warrant it necessary (i.e. no 100b or anything alike).

I’m currently using runes of the traveler because they came with the armor I wanted. I know they’re not the best for condi warrior but I want to wait and see if they change in the upcoming balance patch before deleting 54 gold worth of runes.

I have sigil of torment and sigil of bursting on my swords. TBH I don’t know what utilies I should take because I’m still new to warrior and the game in general imo. What would you suggest in place of bull’s charge?

The area where the Dwarves went underground to fight Primordius and his minions is further north in the Shiverpeaks – in an area we don’t have access to in GW2 at this time.
The place they entered from has most likely been destroyed, considering Jormag’s rampant activity in the Northern Shiverpeaks.

Every single Dwarf has undergone the rite of the dwarf and is now stone – and as far as we know Ogden is the only one who stayed above the surface.

After undergoing the rite and becoming stone the dwarves have been left with a singular desire to battle Primordius and his minions – which is why you don’t see any others – there is no reason whatsoever for them to come to the surface.

why is he the only one….where did he come from, what happened to the others, why is this ignored? being the last of your race is kind of a big deal, and it’s sad that I only noticed it on my third character.

I thought they had died off long ago, but there is a dwarf named ogden in the personal story…..are there more of them? why is this not more in the open?

I am wondering what warrior build is the absolute tankiest in wvw. Completely ignoring damage/killing power, something that can tank a zerg as long as possible. any ideas/links?

So I was buying some trinkets and I noticed these two accessories are exactly the same. The only thing is one has a 2 silver crest on it, and yet it is over 1 gold more expensive. Why is that? I am so confused.

The runes of the traveler are really expensive on the TP, over 9 gold each. Why are they so popular? what profession/playstyle uses them?

this has got to be the most rage inducing thing I am currently experiencing in-game. I deselect the target and try to look away and I continue to shoot. Please someone tell me there is a fix to this.
